38 and single? You're accumulating assets. She'll find you. Get a pre-nup.

And pay alimony...

There are those of us who married opportunistic bottom-feeders out of pity and found sanity with a second partner. (After the pre-nup ;) )

Coincidence that no company has been spinning its wheels more during the AI revolution while others thrived?

The fat, submissive, dull man with the sassy, cute, petite wife was a fairly standard sitcom model starting in the 90's.

Agreed. Focus on yourself. Pre-nup. - tell every man you know. The laws may say equitable, but a court may be punitive. I went from a gas station cashier to business owner over 30 years and just gave 65% to an ex who freelanced (and kept it all, paying for nothing), but mostly went to lunch with friends while the nannies and maids tended to the kids - 'marital contributions' - they said. Bezos' ex got 35 billion? For what again?

They get more than 1/2 many times for their "marital contributions. " Tell everyone you know to get a pre-nup... money for marriage is gross.

I put three girls through college via DEI policies in the U.S. - they've struggled from graduation. The scales balance when there is real work to do.

It's real. If you are in the U. S. tell every unmarri d man you know to get a pre-nup - the courts are putting men on the street as punishment despite paying for everything and being the man we were taught to be. Tell them to tell everyone they know.

The courts still enforce but won't define 'marital contributions' - what's implicit - we all know. Don't sign a contract where the details and jurisdiction are TBD based on things completely out of your control. We need a 'Marriage Rights' reading like 'Miranda Rights' - required prior to signing the contract.

You have recourse... say pre-nup like you were announcing the second coming to ever man you run into. 97% of awards go against men while 40% of women male more money. Yell it from the tree-tops before more crimes are committed.

What about their "marital contributions?" ;)

40% of women in divorces make more than the man. Alimony is awarded to men in 3% of cases.

Men should all wear low cut shirts for a day

How about Marriage Rights similar to Miranda Rights? You are commiting to a Financial Contract the details of which may be determined by your partner at a time and jurisdiction of their choosing governed by laws which may not currently exist Accordingly, before signing... You have a Right to an Attorney You have a Right to a Pre-Nuptial Agreement You have a Right to Full Financial Disclosure by Your Intended Partner You have Right to Paternity Test for any Pregnancies ....

Thank you for making us aware of this injustice.

Anyone gaslight her yet - out her identity? If she said "Asian" or "Jewish" or "Black" instead of white, she'd be incarcerated or an involuntary commit. Stunning there are no reprecussions for this unambigious hate-speech.

Great observations. I was supposed to stay out of pity and obligation, and all I received was abuse. Best decision ever.

Don't be afraid to reach out to 'her' friends you knew together - via facebook - etc. I have many she claimed as divorce booty that have chosen to maintain the relationship with me.

You need to 'mind' giving her everything. That will leave you with nothing. Putting it off normally disadvantages men. I did for years - huge mistake. Consult an attorney asap.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
