i mean i just don’t get how it is helpful to speak so negatively of an entire gender, or relevant to the topic of abortion bans which i think is more of an issue of government control - not what women would make good or shitty mothers

i mean i’m thankful for support in any form, especially in an environment with so much vocal hatred i wanted to share that the silence can feel very isolating, and maybe encourage anyone to reach out to the women they are close to and offer support or listen to their perspective

i mean those aren’t my reasons but i’m glad we can agree that the bans on abortion are generally bad i’m just disappointed that none of what you said shows any evidence that you care about the women in your life since you don’t give a shit that the government is taking away their bodily autonomy these are very real laws that are genuinely scary for all women regardless of whether they would personally be willing to abort, allowing the government this level on interference in a persons healthcare…

I want to know why more men don’t speak out about abortion bans publicly. most guys i know hardly even know this is happening or what it means to the women in their lives - they act like this doesn’t affect them and are completely apathetic for example: many of the women i follow have posted information speaking out against the ban on their stories and none of the men i know have, i am interested to know why (i am a woman and strongly against this ban, it infringes on my right to bodily autonomy…
