I posted a recent one below with a Czech girl at the gym. I do believe it's something I'm not doing rather than a specific turn-off from the conversations, as they mostly seem to enjoy it. Usually it goes like that: Indirect open with contextual question Cold read or asking her name or where she's from Some teasing, joking, and bantering She starts walking away or excuses herself I tend not to get a lot more ahead in daytime settings. Rarely more than 5' of conversation in total...

Sometimes it's clearly ego as a girl will do that even with his boyfriend next to her, maybe seeking to appear desired in his eyes, maybe just being a slut.

Yeah bro that's literally what I'm doing. Today's example at the gym with extremely cute blonde girl I'd never seen before: 1) I notice her standing close to me as I'm going about my workout, looking at me, mirroring movements. 2) I open indirect by telling her I'm done with the equipment and she can use it. I ask if she's German. 3) She says no and I try to playfully guess it, finally I guess it and I joke about how I couldn't tell because she doesn't have a beer belly. 4) She laughs and seems …

How is this all different when she showed you indication of interest vs a pure cold approach? Sometimes I feel girls giving out IOIs only want attention and to have their ego stroked. Then I remember female attraction doesn't work this way and I realise I just need to be better.

Thanks. Would you throw a compliment in early on to show interest? This is difficult for me because I'm also gauging her and assessing if I'm interested. But perhaps being more transparent about what caught my attention about her to subcomunicate sexual/romantic interest is what I'm missing?

I've played around with different options. For my taste I find it's good to start with a calmer venue, like a relaxed lounge or wine bar, and later on go to a busier, more noisy place.

Logistics is key as everyone said. You need to get her to a suitable place where she can relax. If you were living in the same house as 20 HBs I guarantee you'd be getting laid a ton effortlessly. If you take control of the date and bring her along to 2-3 different venues, she'll feel like she's known you for longer and you'll have a deeper connection. Unlike most people that commented here I tend not to discuss logistics with her, unless she asks specifically about it. I simply bring her home w…

Sport can also lead to a similar scenario and might be preferred by some girls (e.g. runner, outdoorsy type). Endorphines and such being a form of 'natural high'.

Always sit diagonally. Logistics trump everything (in love but also in war, business...).

I brought up a novel argument: that state power contributes to gender dynamics, and our current gender wars relate to the rise of the modern state. You ignored this point and went off on a moralistic, unrelated element, which is like asking Newton if he thinks it's good that apples fall from trees, potentially hurting passersby. But apples will keep falling regardless of what you think is a good trajectory for society.

Where do you get that I think this is a moral choice, instead of a historical inevitability? Thanks for proving my point: Female-centric discourse is often incapable to think beyond ideology and what you think is righteous, thus accelerating its downfall.

While the shifts in mating dynamics are closely tied to the broader rise of modern democracy, bureaucracy, and human rights, these patterns haven't been linear. There have been significant ebbs and flows. A notable example is the baby boom of the 1940s and 50s, which reversed some of the trends from the 1920s and 30s. The post-WWII period saw a rise in male status, leading to a surge in marriages and birth rates. This offers a glimmer of hope, demonstrating that these dynamics can shift back wit…

The shift in women's leverage started long before dating apps and second-wave feminism. In fact, it can be traced back to the second half of the 18th century, as evidenced by falling birth rates. This change is largely due to the rise of an increasingly totalitarian state, which gradually took over many of the historical roles traditionally fulfilled by the family. Consider the following factors: ->Public, mandatory education ->Court-enforced morals ->Labour and family regulations ->Socializatio…
