I think what upsets most guys (especially heterosexual guys and guys who buy too much into the “masculine ideal”) is that men don’t choose their dates. Seduction and manipulation is literally baked into the cake, if you will, for straight guys. Women will always do the choosing in human mating, it’s psychologically proven. And no, I am not single because I’m sure that’ll be an insult thrown out there. The truth is, whether men like it or not, is that women choose the men they’d like to date. Not…

I am going to try to have a polite response here because my bullshit radar is going off. “From a position of strength”? Isn’t that already manipulative? You’re acting like it’s “heroic” to be nice when it’s just effing common sense, my dude. Being nice is just the right thing to do because being nice helps me sleep at night. I’m not single anymore but if I was, I think I’d just go out and be more brave. The worst thing that’s going to happen is being rejected. Yes it sucks but it sucks less than never trying. That’s a lesson I wish I had learned earlier.

Sex for the first time is probably always going to be difficult. My advice is to let your sexual partner know about your lack of sexual experiences and hopefully they will be understanding.

It’s not so much about attracting men for women, it’s about attracting the right man. OP, do you feel confident? If so, that’s half the battle. As far as the rest, just have good hygiene and try to have a good flow for the conversation. The rest should come naturally. I’m sorry if that’s not enough help.

I’ve always said that women do the choosing but if that’s true, then seduction doesn’t really exist for men ipso facto.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
