Yes, they will impute a salary based on age, education, time, etc. You can also provide evidence (available job opening, etc) to help.

Yes, keep the kids out of this. They fear what will happen and are probably as stunned as you. I can’t see any kid wanting a parent to cheat. They will appreciate things like this in the future.

She may not. it's an effort on her part and costly for her too. If she has an ok attorney who feels this isn't a court issue she may get resistance too.

One of the biggest mistakes I made in the beginning of my divorce was responding to anything and everything my stbx said and accused me of. It was a complete waste of money, time and head space. Unless the court orders it, ignore it. If you thought it was a true issue I would say take your daughter for testing for her own good - you wouldn't even have to share the results with your wife.
