Taking it slow in my experience is code for 'settling with you for the meantime until someone better comes along'

Nice, my mom is so great that I often brag about her, and i get excited when friends/girlfriends meet her for the first time because they always love her. I'll take the free dating pass on that criteria lol.

I don't know any women who are at near their peak physical fitness level, make ~$50,000 with a bachelors degree, who's personality is good enough that many of their previous partners wanted to marry them and still try to keep in touch regularly but yet have been unable to find a single man who would be willing to date them for over 3 years, even including men who they have no interest in.

No, those men want to be a man that gets chosen at all, by just about any woman.

How would the living it up thing not make it worse? If she doesn't need a supporter why would she be giving me any attention at all, let alone so much attention that I would end up being the one doing the 'I'm not feeling it' thing. It actually got a lot more extreme than that... One got real clingy and abusive and wouldn't let me break up with her. She was working and I was still in college so wasn't. It took me a long time to get her to accept that I wanted to break up with her. None of it mak…

i don't get how you can rarely be around women at all unless you choose to be Are you a guy or girl? The answer here is because they choose for me to be. never leave the house Well where would I go? When you're extremely lonely eventually doing fun shit alone just reminds you how alone you are, there are tons of people in groups and you feel a ghost. but you could remedy it by occasionally hanging out in public places where both men and women are likely to be found. ? What good would that do? I don't think you understood what I meant. this already has a sense of, "i don't know what to do to make women like me!" This already has a sense of "all men who are reserved are identical socially retarded losers with the same identical root causes"

it's not the comfort around women that's attractive, it's the comfort one has in their own skin regardless. This doesn't really make sense. I'm rarely around women at all. Being around them is not a normal experience for me, and I don't have a feel for what topics and conversations are like with them. If I moved to another country I wouldn't just naturally be able to fit into their culture. Why would it be any different when being introduced to any other demographic? wrapping up all your worth i…

Make a woman realize that she can't play games and withhold sex What the hell kind of women are people dating that are like this? I've literally never encountered one and: If men can have casual sex with other women, suddenly that type of 'Im not feeling it' behavior goes away. In no point in any of the above mentioned relationships was I ever able to have casual sex with other women. In fact throughout the entire relationship my SOs were literally the only girl who was willing to even speak to …

If there's Stacy out there who's willing to have sex on the 3rd date, then most guys will prefer that to waiting for marriage. Is that considered quick or something? In my past women who were interested in me would always want to do it on the 1st date, and sometimes the '0th'. And I've got a ton of reserves flying at me from all angles about being intimate with someone I don't know well, so it's not like I was trying to hurry them along. Hey man, I'm a software developer with a 6 pack and broad shoulders. And I doubt anything's wrong with my personality as my most recent ex(who has a fiance and a baby) wanted to drive 6 hours to my parents' place on thanksgiving just to see me even though 2 years had passed since we broke up. I got frustrated with a site one time and started sending dick pics just out of curiosity about how it'd turn out. I'm big enough that I've bumped a couple girl's cervixes in the past and the picture I had showed my abs and fit legs. It didn't work on anyone, though most that replied didn't show overt disgust.

They're still not picky though, or women wouldn't be getting matches with nearly every swipe while many men have to wait days for a single match, and still others simply never getting a match at all.

They have difficulty finding even ONS on dating sites/apps. It's kind of hard to be picky with few or often even no options whatsoever.

I can't send signals to women because they won't reply to any message I send regardless of content.* *Women in america at least. I recently got in touch with a girl I was friends with in elementary who moved away and it's effortless to get her laughing or rambling.

I literally don't get dates most the time. There was only ever 1 woman around my age at work which is where most of my socializing was done. So just that 1 to choose. I'm fairly sure she liked me and she was on the cute side but I didn't want to date a coworker at the time. As far as status, outside of work I have none. There was a girl like that that I went on a date with and texted a lot. After we met she gave me the 'you're not gonna disappear and never text me again after this are you'? Then on the day our 2nd date was set up she ghosted me. Also, she dropped out of school in jr. high... I've kinda been wondering whether girls would like me if they met me in person and got to know me. Seems like I make a good impression on the few people I do get to talk to. I don't get far enough to be able to text. I met my last 2 girlfriends by walking up to them on the sidewalks on campus during college. I tried similar things lately but it's always been much more awkward now. The only physical shift I've had is that I went from ~140 pounds to ~150 at 5'8, I'd assume that's a positive because I looked quite scrawny at 140. Of the women in the city I currently live in I've met in person 4 from dating sites/apps and am friends with 2 of them. For one of those 2 we decided to be platonic before our first meeting. There was only ever 1 woman around my age at my workplace and we went out to lunch together multiple times each week the entire time she was there. I already do both statements. As long as someone isn't hideous they are worth considering for me. There's one potential factor that I'd assume they accounted for but am not certain they did so I wanna mention it. Why does the amount of friends a guy has matter?

You're using the stereotype as though it applies to a disproportionate amount of STEM dudes relative to how many it actually applies to... On my floor at work I can think of 2, maybe 3 people at most who don't take care of their hygiene and looks. And I can't think of a single one who isn't hilarious even judging by how waiters react to them.

I don't call girls ugly or creepy, and I'd even date a girl I'm not attracted to. But they aren't even willing to talk to me. And I've had an ugly girl(so ugly that other girls told me "EWW, you were talking to her?) straight up tell me she liked my personality and being around me but didn't want to take things further because I'm not attractive enough. Maybe other guys are saying mean things to ugly women about their looks. But women say mean things to good looking men about their looks. It's n…

I'm not talking about you specifically. A cute but not perfect guy on tinder will get few if any matches. In general those guys are not given chances by women

Ah shit I forgot to consider that ADHD may be involved in my case as well. Well its certainly a confounding variable but I think the general case is the same

True but I'm really shy and there aren't many women to get to know in my day to day life so in order to even attempt to date I have to approach strangers in public which is pretty uncomfortable for both me and them. Women, even ugly women, have the choice to avoid that while still having the opportunity to date. I don't. There's no convenient avenue for me to take for dating.

In college I struck up a conversation with a nerdy looking girl on the sidewalk outside the cafeteria and we ended up exchanging numbers(I wasn't really attracted to her, was just practicing socializing and trying to make new friends). Later that day she invited me to hang out with her friends in her dorm. So I get there and when we get to her room she introduces me to her roommate. Her roommate then asks her how we met and she tells her how we just randomly started chatting outside the lunch ar…

Would you rather it be the majority of men wouldn't even talk to you let alone date you even though you're in good shape and reasonably pretty?

We aren't talking about invisible fat men. Even quite cute but not amazing looking dudes have issues on dating apps. You don't have to date an ugly man but what's wrong with giving any of the cute but not perfect men a shot?

Expecting yourself to be able to get a partner of reasonable equal desirability isn't really entitlement... Usually when people say something like that they are expressing confusion about why there is such a disparity in their results and "a guy who probably has a bunch of non-appearance reasons he's struggling in dating." Isn't really relevant in the context of online dating. It's kind of hard for a guy who's a 6 and not getting any tinder matches to leverage his personality to date an equal...

I've dated a few extremely attractive women and after a year or so their good looks got old. They didn't change much at all, the only thing that did was my opinion of how they looked.

The particular people I'm talking about were definitely attracted to me. Whenever i break up with a girl they fight tooth and nail to keep me. They also always have way more of a sex drive than me and get really upset if it's not very regular. I don't think that'd be the case if they didn't actually find me attractive

I don't think so, the girls I dated in the past all had and still have a high opinion of me. I can't move and I don't think moving for dating reasons is a good idea lol

I wear a form fitting solid dark blue tshirt, khaki jeans(so office casual) around my city during the day and get treated suspiciously good by complete strangers. Everyone at work loves my personality. I'm definitely not fat, I've got a six pack and naturally good shoulder/waist ratio. I haven't had a real date in almost 2 years despite being on like 4 different dating sites and apps. It's to the point where I'm actually talking to a girl from the Philippines and in contrast to all the people fr…

I'm specifically playing for social interaction. I go out completely alone and start talking to whoever is nearby. Not once have a had anyone have any sort of problem with me and I've gone straight up to groups of really hot girls and walked around the town with them If you see a cute guy/girl playing and you want to talk to them, talk to them. It isn't going to hurt them and if they are really that shitty that they wouldn't want to meet new people then they shouldn't have any problem letting yo…

Here's what I look like http://imgur.com/a/tLKiz I have a $45K/year salary, been told countless times that I'm really funny/sweet/interesting/intelligent. One of the most recent girls I got rejected by had a severe underbite and a very tall/thin face that was not at all appealing. She also hadn't gone to college and as far as I knew she was also unemployed. Poster above you said "They've got some issues they need to sort out".
