You seem to care. And i am home thanks.

No? Sometimes the posts are good. It’s only bad when morons like you come out to downvote anyone who you don’t like. In fact even this post was interesting and important, but for some reason i’m getting downvoted because people can’t read and think i was implying/assuming something about the person i replied to when i never did either. I even clarified my statement down the chain for you smooth brains. You people are just that stupid.

Go back to school, learn how to read and stop being such a drone. Fucking hell this sub is a joke and has been since the fuckin Incels invaded.

I said “some people” meaning exactly that, some people. If i was addressing the person I replied to i’d just say “You don’t think it’s an issue worth fighting for”. I even repeated their final sentence, although i changed it a bit.

I don’t think some people on this sub realise that just because it isn’t a strictly men’s right issue doesn’t mean it isn’t worth fighting for. This is a family rights issue, and needs to be addressed for the benefit of everyone.

A small victory considering it’s 30 months for raping a child.

I’m surprised you finished reading it, i stopped at “30 months in prison” for raping a minor.

It was a rhetorical question, but thanks anyway. I’ll have a look.

Also, why the hell is her name left undisclosed but his is public? If anything both should be private until any conviction is made.

Guys, please stop these posts. They literally just make you sound like the woman haters the feminist subs claim you to be. When any little thing that some women do is posted, even if it has absolutely nothing to do with mens rights. Why the fuck does it matter than a women’s only organisation did something good? It isn’t worth making a snarky post about.

The fact that it takes people years to realise even something as simple as “cool shirt” can do wonders for a boy. Made me smile doesn’t feel like the right term.

Tbh your pitfall in that post was probably the “princess syndrome”. It’s pretty easy for someone who is already biased against you to take that in the worst light.

Mhm. Actual unpopular opinions, especially potentially political ones, just get deleted.
/r/MensRights01/08/20 01:19 PM

There is no point hijacking feminist talking points just so you can say “but what about men”. This applies to both genders, but if an actor or other professional agrees to be in a state on undress on camera, that is their right as an adult. No one should care if the Rock gets his chest out, just like no one should care if Angelina Jolie gets her chest out. As long as there is consent. Although there is a completely different level social stigma between a topless guy and a topless girl.
/r/MensRights30/07/20 02:33 AM

I expect the feminism sub to hate us, but even more general/non-political subs have this view of us sometimes. Granted I imagine a portion of that does come from feminist subs doing their best to make us look bad.
/r/MensRights29/07/20 02:18 AM

I mean the bigger issue is you get some posts, not this one, that do just amount to “women bad” or “women deserve to feel the pain we have felt”. Unfortunately it just makes us look bad and gives credence to the notion that this sub is sexist. We’re already fighting an uphill battle.

Honestly the screenshot looks very clearly like a joke. But some of the users of this sub cry about double standards while partaking in it when it suits them.

One if the comments said the post got deleted by the mod, did they restore it or something? Or did you send an archive link? Either way those are some spicy stats. funny how that same mod started out by saying they didn’t like or want the post to stay, i wonder why?
/r/MensRights22/05/20 11:11 AM

About that last stat, 700 million women being married under the age if 18... what does that even mean? On it’s own it seems too broad. What age was the husband? Was he also below 18? Was the marriage forced? What is the age of consent in these countries (in the UK and other parts of Europe you can get married at 16)?

The problem with Toxic Masculinity is that the way it is applied changes. The connotation of the phrase is that the thing that is toxic is masculinity itself or male behaviour. If a man cat calls a girl it’s Toxic Masculinity. Fair enough i guess. If a woman tells a man to bottle up his feelings or laughs at his emotions, STILL toxic masculinity. Even though in this case the man is the victim. And for the record, i have found male friends to be considerably more supportive than female friends, i…

Yeah no, I understand being annoyed by the double standards. I dislike it too. But I don’t personally think that playing into the double standards helps. Feminists get mad at jokes, so i should to. Why would i emulate the radical part of an ideology that i disagree with?
/r/MensRights22/03/20 04:53 AM

Deleting comments isn't the correct response, but in all fairness... this is clearly a joke. Being just as sensitive and butthurt as them solves nothing. So it depends what the comments that got deleted were. If responding to posts you obviously disagree with on a feminist subreddit is what you spend time doing, then you do have too much time on your hands

As a degenerate i can confirm. The -con just means complex, so it either refers to the person who likes loli/shota or it can also refer to the "genre". But honestly, loli does have a way worse reputation than shota even though both are essentially the same thing. It's one of those words that has changed in pop culture a lot, like a "loli/shota" character doesn't have to be underage, it can also just mean their personality/appearance.
/r/MensRights15/03/20 11:36 AM

Not sure we would ever go back to conscription like in WW1/2 just because war is fought very differently with the western armed forces. Except for America i guess.

But I thought we wanted it so that men didn’t get half of their stuff taken in a divorce? How does being vindictive to a lady help that cause? If this hypothetical man doesn’t contribute he shouldn’t get half, neither should a woman in the reverse. Why change your principles just so you can laugh at the misfortune of another person and arbitrarily decide they must deserve it. It just makes you look like a bitter man.
/r/MensRights06/03/20 04:19 AM
6

I mean this is a pointless question to ask, ofc we don’t have proof. Everything on reddit could be bullshit for all we know. You can still empathise with the hypothetical plight this person is in. The point isn’t if it’s true or false, the point is this shouldnt happen to anyone.

Except i was merely clarifying/expanding on what i thought the original comment meant. It isn't whataboutism at all, or an ad hominen attack. All i said was that while he is right, i find it mildly rich for someone like that to say it. Also when did i say he was trying to get fame? seriously, stop putting words in my mouth. He is right, but i think the point is that for the past few years he hasn’t exactly been in touch with normal society/the outside world either. Certainly better than most people in Hollywood or Studio executives though.
/r/MensRights06/01/20 07:59 AM

Good point actually. A lot of far left people and feminists talk about power structures in everything and how they are always bad. So if you always believe that a power structure is bad because it makes the people on top dominate those below, and that men are always above in the power structure... then the “logical” conclusion is the a relationship with a man is one of dominance. While power structures obviously exist in relationships, I honestly think the fixation on the concept is why so many …

Hell if some evil man “rapes” a sex doll instead of a real person, that’s a damn good thing. Or any other weird/harmful fantasy that he might have. But honestly it probably is partially due to them losing what control they did have, because women do more or less hold all the cards in a sexual encounter.
/r/MensRights01/01/20 01:13 AM
44

Not sure if this has been said elsewhere. But it seems to me like that is an inevitable result if constantly conflating male sexuality with male violence. Or pushing ideas like 1/4 women are raped. A “statistic” like that implies that a huge amount of women are in danger from male violence and sexuality at all times. It’s only a small step from there to decide that if women are at risk from men, then men and their desires must be a risk in general. Therefore male sexuality is bad. Add on things …

Child labour will always be a thing until you can fundamentally change these countries. It’s not even a case of them being forced into slavery, these kids need to work in order to even survive. That’s why Fact 7? That goes on about UN law means nothing. Sure you can make a law that means kids can’t work, but they still need to work because both parents are dead and his sister isn’t allowed to work because she’s a girl. So yeah, it’s a bit more complicated than just banning kids from working. The…

Those might target men, as they are basically laws made that only men can commit or specifically say men should be assumed to be the attacker before any evidence is collected. But someone rapes you, someone attacks you.. those are things as a man you cannot prevent if someone really wants to do them. This is a crime done to you as a man, and in rape laws and the Duluth model is unfair in the way they are handled. Nobody forced you to pay for sex, you can easily avoid this law. This is a crime/ac…

/r/MensRights24/12/19 08:20 AM

For sure, I totally agree. My issue is that i do not believe these laws are some sort of targeted law to get men in trouble because everyone hates us or something.
/r/MensRights24/12/19 08:12 AM

Oh the transactions might be murky/shady and under the table, but the law is not. There is no murky area there. As in it is very clear, if you see a prostitute, don’t pay them for sex. That’s illegal. If a prostitute offers you sex, they are not breaking the law. You still say no. Again i agree that both should be legal as it is safer in the long run to have something like that regulated. Edit: I accidentally deleted my other comment, i dunno if it’s possible to restore it.
/r/MensRights24/12/19 06:22 AM
1

Well i agree it should be legal for both parties. But making it legal to sell is not some well devised plan to attack men, it’s a protection for those who are coerced or forced into prostitution.
/r/MensRights24/12/19 06:07 AM

Jesus christ, it’s posts like these that give this sub the same stigma as r/incels. Apparently having step kids, or adoption makes you a gigacuck.
/r/MensRights24/12/19 05:29 AM
1

I mean really guys? I see what you are going for, but come on. I assume you are angling for the idea that men are only used for their value to a family and are expected to pay for kids that aren’t theirs. But without further context there is no real issue here. All the comments calling men cucks are fucking ridiculous and this is why people call you all incels. If you find a nice girl and she happens to already have kids, that you grow to love and treat as your own, you are not a cuck. Or by tha…

I mean i don’t like the guy, but is buying sex really something really essential to you guys? Like i get it, I haven’t had a girlfriend in a decade and haven’t had sex in the same amount of time. But i never felt the need to pay someone to suck my cock. Like is this the hill to die on? This law only effects you if you NEED to pay for sex. I’d much rather focus on not criminalising people who are in potentially desperate situations and/or are forced to prostitute themselves.
/r/MensRights24/12/19 04:51 AM
2

I think the idea is to protect the seller in situations where they may be under duress or when forced to sell.
/r/MensRights24/12/19 04:44 AM

Where is the legal limbo? It’s really simple, don’t pay for sex from a prostitute. The only vulnerability is if you pay for sex. I mean i don’t think prostitution should be illegal for either party, but it’s not hard to avoid getting hit by the law.
/r/MensRights24/12/19 04:42 AM
2

I mean there is a line between entrapment and a sting. And that is if the police themselves are attempting to make you commit a crime, as in they try and actively convince you. Like sending in a child to buy alcohol isn’t entrapment, it’s to test if people are following the law. Basically the idea is only those open to illegal activities would do it. Like if a person came up to me and offered me sex for £100 i’d turn them away, but someone who is open to prostitution even though it is illegal wo…

Isn’t the law so that those who are forced to sell sex aren’t forced into being criminals? Like sure would suck to be a victim of trafficking only to be put in jail for prostituting yourself. At least that is what I assumed the law was for.

Is this real? Like i don't care about the "political" side of it, it's a boardgame. But this is just bad game design, and i imagine 99% of female players would just be offended at literally being given handouts in a game because they are considered too shit at it to win normally.

Sadly, at least i my town in the UK, so many homeless people are banned from shelters or kicked out from them. A majority of them are on spice and heavier drugs so they are a danger to people in the shelters. Also as someone who works in a hotel we have to take that into consideration when someone wants to check-in. It’s easy to shit talk capitalism, but even from my POV as hotel receptionist, i can’t just let anyone into a hotel.

This is what annoys me about this sub, we occasionally get these posts with stupid misleading titles in order to bait people into rage. It gives us the bad name that everyone else on reddit paints us with, "they just hate women".

Yeah probably just mishandled while trying to pay homage to a classic line and mixing it with a bit if pandering to the feminist audience. In the end there are bigger issues out there, sometimes this subs latches onto the smaller things.

I mean in all fairness, as stupid as some of the things the prosecutor said like " We can think of no motivation for you to touch the victim other than sexual" and assuming the guys intent at trying to touch her breast. The kid doesn't deserve prison, definitely not. But generally speaking randomly touching people you don't know could be quite worrying to someone. Yeah Woman on Man violence is a joke as always. An example i would like to give. I work in a hotel, at around midnight a Man and his child walk in with the police. They need a room for the night because the man and wife had an argument that could have lead to violence so the man called the police. Clearly the man was not seen as a potential issue because he still had his child with him, rather than the child being left at home with her mother. This to me indicates that the woman is the issue in …

I don't know about this book, but seriously don't judge a book by its cover. At least read some of it first, because there are a few books out there that have a purposefully inflammatory title so people pick them up, then when they read it they find it is completely different. Like that book that was titled something like "Boys like girls who...", and in the end it said "Boys like girls who like themselves". I do agree with most of your sentiment, but having read the original post on changemyview. It wasn't gendered and isn't in the same category as men being scared of going out with women for fear of being accused of something. So yeah it does dilute the meaning of rape, but the general idea is sound. In that it should be heavily punishable, especially in light of places like California making it less severe.

For real? I don't watch love island. But it as a show in general just proves trashy people are trash. Wasn't one of the "challenges" encouraging infidelity when they split up the partners into different villas? Also that 1 lass who after that challenge went around leading 2 men on for over a week? Yeah fuck off the entire show is a toxic example of what is wrong with dating.
/r/MensRights01/08/19 02:54 PM

I have to say, the choice of under 18 is going to screw with stats a bit. Without further looks into where those stats come from anyway. What i mean is in plenty of countries the age of marriage is 16, which would also count towards that stat of "156 million men married before they were 18". As such it isn't entirely indicative of an arranged/underage marriage. Like in the UK for example you can get married at 16-18, with parental consent iirc.
/r/MensRights30/07/19 08:49 PM

of course they do. They rarely have to initiate any sexual advances, most of the time a man initiates on them. Which basically means they have all the power regarding when sex happens. So when they take their turn to initiate they expect success. Whereas men kinda get used to being declined as statistically you will get declined.

Yeah, didn't they make it so you have to pay for the license even if you only stream stuff? or was it only for live streams of TV shows? Because I don't pay mine because i only watch Youtube and stuff long after they have aired live.

I didn't watch it all because it genuinely enraged me. But there was a segment on BBC 1 last night that seemed to be covering circumcision. But it wasn't talking about how horrible the practise is, it was more like an advertisement. Talking about how the boys won't feel the pain because of anesthetic. All while the parents smiled down on a screaming child. If it was female circumcision it would have been talking about how disgusting it was. Screw you BBC.
