Reading the intro to 48 laws of power. It mentions the most innocent looking ones are the ones who are usually the least innocent. I would also say this makes them the most dangerous. I see the world as this vast place where we can live and do what we want and all that, but so many people fall into this mindset of material objects and possessions. I see money as one of these material objects, like the American dream of the white picket fence, the nice car and all that crap. None of this stuff really buys you eternal happiness. It keeps you happy for a bit, but like everything else, it gets old and discarded for something new. I don't plan to go to the best resorts or the pool…

This a response I expected to receive, but also one I wanted/needed to hear. I didn't want to hear "good job, pat on the back", I wanted to hear "grow a pair". I'm looking to progress, not become complacent. The Red Pill is providing value and I get that, that's why I'm here to soak the information like a sponge, apply it to my life and progress. You're right. I don't want to get hurt. I've been down that road and prefer keeping people at a distance. Vulnerability is a bitch, so I place up these walls to avoid people from getting in. It's a work in progress.
