So I vehemently disagree that a dog's love is conditional lol, but the rest of this is feasible

It just seems to me that the whole ideology is based around people who can readily change their mental states to that of an admittedly healthier mindset. I'm just wondering if it comes at the belief that those who are stuck in depression are too 'weak' to change themselves, as many misunderstanding narcissists that follow this path of relentless self improvement do

Ehhhh... I think hundreds of school shooting victims, increasingly catastrophic natural disasters built on the backs of climate change, and the ever-increasing level of intense poverty would disagree

Interesting mesh of brotherhood and a dark overindulgence in individualism and lack of empathy in this thread. I agree that we must be self sufficient and this guy took the easy way out, but still... should we not mourn a guy who was victim of the world we escaped? A free man can still mourn the plight of the slave. I for one think this is a tragedy. One that I hope we can all avoid, but know that not all of us will.

To be fair, I too would like to quit my job, even if it does pay well. If I get the chance to chase a dream, damn right I'm out the door the next day. Fuck working for someone else's benefit... at least someone else I don't believe in. If I wanted to grow with them, that's different. But yeah, a job is meaningless if you hate it

Wtf Australia, this article is written entirely in support of her. Look at the goddamned language choice. Have you guys gone that far down the feminist rabbit hole?

I'm not sure I agree with this from a health standpoint. He makes allowances for time to grieve, but emotional support is important to survival. My dad was the stoic, face your life alone kind of guy, and he had a stroke at 46. Keeping all of that in... it poisons you. Not saying you should go out and sob in your plates arms, but seriously... find a good outlet

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
