Surgical masks do nothing to stop the transmission of a virus, they only serve to prevent moisture/fluids from leaving the wearer's mouth/nose. It's is typical irrational hysteria that leads to these people wearing the masks

I'd agree, but it's for simple reasons: small landmass, homogeneous society, much smaller population, far less diverse, less conflicting ideologies. They are not comparable and never will be. I'd love for America to have that quality of life, but it simply isn't possible with the same systems. Too many different cultures all packed together, and too many populations spread out over too far a distance to easily implement anything on such a drastic scale

at this point, it seems both parties have incredible faults. Liberals seem to do nothing but lie and slander others for personal gain and conservatives are simple idiots as you said. It's a pretty fucked up situation, this election will decide the trend for the next 20 years in the US

I Didn't do ROTC for nothing. It was a scholarship anyway, I'm required by federal law to be enlisted as a 2nd lieutenant in the army the moment I graduate.
