I'd like to see them explain how they're oppressed after this.

I was more flabbergasted at his questioning of "well why are people so concerned with finding innate differences between the genders?"

I like that after this was said, they protested the recent rally in Toronto by claiming we're racist, sexist and anti-gay

The template is SRS endorsed. It seems that that whole sub is an SRS jerk "Lol look at how weird the things that these people say are"

That's what it implies to you. To a lot, though, it will mean "see guys? women are smarter than men!"

More blog hits would not financially benefit him and would actually COST him? That's it, I'm calling PZ Myers a fucking LIAR! Not that this is the first evidence of it though.

There are entire cities in China that I've heard about that are completely abandoned. Let's get on this.

It sounds to me like it's the idea that I, as a male gamer, would play as a big, burly viking warrior, because I want to be a big, burly viking warrior, and not because I find the story or the gameplay appealing or anything.

To be fair, you can't exactly call her a non-sensation at this point.
/r/MensRights02/08/13 02:14 PM

It's not that she's making too many videos. It's that she's so far put out videos exclusively critiquing precisely ONE tired trend in gaming (and in story telling altogether)

That may be true, in fact, but the whole tone of her arguments sounds less like a thesis, and more like complaining. But hey, I'm just making an analysis and positing a theory here.

Apparently she recently got creative control of Mirror's Edge 2. Definitely going to be interesting. If it succeeds, then that's just more fuel for her SJ arsenal. "See? We can make good games with appropriately strong female leads too!" If it bombs, then that's still more fuel for her SJ arsenal. "The only reason people didn't like the game is because gaming is still just a boys club"

I lost it after "There are no woman generals, tyrants, slave owners, dictators, rapists, etc." But "behind every great man is a great woman," right?

Their rights are not in danger because a few women on facebook are making jokes But I'll bet they'd be up in arms about rape jokes.

Agreed. even in the age of the empowered woman, men MUST throw themselves at any problem women face

The only logical conclusion to make. I'm sure OP didn't get this from his/her facebook newsfeed, and I'm sure he doesn't know a single thing about that poster.

God there's nothing I hate more than the apex fallacy. I don't remember attending the secret Patriarchy meeting and going "Yeah, 75 cents sounds alright"

That doesn't matter to them one bit. It's just not as juicy as people being enslaved having a very different skin colour. Any form of white slavery is swept under the rug by using buzz words/phrases like systematic, or power+privilege.

They often use rape threats or doxxing to silence women Citation needed. They think that it is more plausible that a sort of feminist illuminati is in control of everything than maybe we're in a culture that makes being girly a bad thing and assigns girliness to rather arbitrary things. The thought that there is a feminist illuminati is ridiculous. But it is no more ridiculous than there being a patriarchal illuminati. They don't take women's issues seriously Some of us do. Others just want to f…

don't worry. it's probably not legit. first of all, it's on Craigslist. second, the demand for pictures? everybody responding to that ad, really ought to send a pic of their middle finger. and even if it is legit, the fact that this person manages multiple production companies is sounding off alarm bells in my head. chances are this is low budget "media." and speaking as somebody who has been screwed over in three out of the three times I've worked in low budget (through people I knew before, no…

My cousin is a professor there and even she (who has always been very left) said that some of the other professors are a little too left. If an asian student's regular parking spot was taken, and he/she had to park one row behind? WHITE PEOPLE ARE FUCKING SCUM! Nevermind the fact there are probably as many asian students as there are white students, maybe more.

I've never had any respect for that tool. Not as a journalist, and not as a person. The only halfway decent work he's ever done was Sicko, and even then, it was way too saturated with his own biases and opinions, and too representative of HIS side to be worthy of the title "journalism"
