I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Calgary Stampede and Big Valley Jamboree are LARP fest for farm nerds. When you see 99.9563231% of the people at those things who are dressed as cowboys/girls, they are cosplaying.

Honestly I have trouble believing 90% of the successful revenge stories on this page. This one is especially unbelievable but still a decent story I guess. Some of the guys here will still have a fun time circle jerking about it which is the only problem with this subreddit IMO. The willingness to throw all logic out the window and get all hot and bothered over fictional justice porn like this.

You know when kids are like "my tummy feels funny" and you know they just have to poop, but they don't understand it because they haven't really felt that feeling before? That's what this person is experiencing, except in this case it's about realising that she's wrong and she's being told the truth for the first time in her life by men who aren't trying to fuck her. "What is this sensation? Why can't I explain why I feel invalidated? These feelings are confusing and scary"

In the Canadian Armed Forces they have they Battle Fitness Test for combat arms trades. The Battle Fitness Test is a fitness test designed to simulate battle conditions, which involves a 13 km march carrying a tactical vest, helmet, rucksack and service rifle. Participants carry 55 pounds of equipment, plus their own body weight. Soldiers across Canada must take and pass this annual fitness test. The march must be completed in two hours and 26 minutes. You should never run with 100+lbs on your ba…

It wasn't particularly difficult for me when I did the test, it gets a bit rough after you've already done the shuttle run and the weighted carry. So it kind of depends on which of the activities you start with. If it's first it's not too bad, if it's the last thing you do it starts to get a more rough. Having said that you picked 1 out of the 4 activities you engage in, completely ignoring the 220lb drag that you have to do. All of which has nothing to do with your initial argument that the fit…

The Canadian Armed Forces FORCE test consists of: 20 metre Rushes: Starting from the prone position, complete two shuttle sprints (1 shuttle = 20 m there, 20 m back) dropping to the prone position every 10 m for a total of 80 m. To be completed in less than 51 seconds. Sandbag Lift: 30 consecutive lifts of a 20 kg sandbag from the floor to a height of 1 m. The member alternates between left and right sandbags separated by 1.25 m. To be completed in 3 minutes and 30 seconds; Intermittent Loaded S…

Glad to see a lot of the comments are mentioning the sad boys that contribute to this more than to her behavior. She's just playing the market with the assets at her disposal so I can't fault her for that since it's a good income, as long as there's a solid income from it, this kind of thing will always be there. You have to go after the people giving the money and try to get them out of the system.

They do it because it works and men will buy them drinks. Until they reach they point that it doesn't anymore and they can't understand why men are treating them differently than when they were in their early 20s. I find it difficult to put too much blame on women for taking advantage of the opportunities afforded them by thirsty men. A lot of people are just bitter they don't have the same opportunity that they have.

Every time I hear about events like this it reminds me of the line Peter Griffin says in his "Grind my Gears Segment" on Family Guy. "No woman anywhere wants to have sex with anyone, and to titillate us with thoughts otherwise is just... just plain wrong". In that context it makes sense to me that once those women realize they don't HAVE to keep having sex if they just get a divorce, then they'll jump ship asap.

The whole thing really is a textbook example of what MGTOW has been trying to point out to people. An average woman plucked from obscurity who ignores the perfectly nice men around her to be swepped up by a rich, handsome, sexually dominant man who she eventually turns into her baby daddy. It's beauty and the beast with more implied butt stuff.

Exactly. For me the plot of 50 Shades reads as a treatise as to why men should avoid red pill (as it still involves worship of the female) and just become MGTOW

Yeah I can't say as I blame her too much. I mean she's still a horrible person, but when you have all of these opportunities and orbiters willing to give you anything you could want with no obligations, can you really blame them for taking that opportunity? It's the sad pathetic men who need to be addressed.

I did a similar rant on my own facebook a few years ago, what surprised me was how many men also liked the post. I wasn't expecting that level of support.

I think the media wants youth to become consumer chads i.e. chads who spend $300 on sunglasses, $200 for a pair of pants etc etc all to pick up chicks. They don't give a shit about the mating desire, all they care about is using that desire to encourage consumption.

Looking back the biggest reason I know I'm a millenial, in fact one of the earlier millenials, is that I always seemed to come up to a right of passage just as it was going away and I was relieved I wouldn't have to deal with it. For example as a kid I was nervous about freshy week when I went to high school but then they banned it. I joined the military around the time where they started cracking down on drinking culture, hazing, and certain levels of aggression from higher ranks. I sailed thro…

People have a notion that women are passive when it comes to dating, that they just wait around until someone asks them out. That's untrue though. Women are hunters and they know the right bait to draw out the right pray. They know how to draw the pray back when it wanders off the path to the trap This woman just had no hunters instinct

Yeah it was bad enough when it was just implying the actions of an incompotent judge but the idea that they would change a law that effectively makes the debtor's prison that is child support, even worse is pretty messed up.

I dug a bit more into this and the issue wasn't that he was paying too much child support, the issue was that his employer wasn't garnishing his wages propperly so he was actually behind on his child support payments becasue of his employer. The 3000 was to bring him up to being current on his child support, however the laws had changed in his state to where even if you were current at the time of the trial, it didn't protect you from past due balances. So if you hadn't paid child support for sa…

Those are all standards that women apply to one another in an arms race to demoralize one another in order for them to have less competition for a suitable mate. Ive never heard a man say "yeah I like her but she was too tall for me" but I have heard a woman say "thank God I found my man because I thought I was never going to find a man who was at least my height"

Thanks for the thanks. I asked myself once, "Why do I spend some of my day responding to things said on reddit? What do I really get out of it?" And I realized that by replying, it forces me to think hard on my response, which helps me understand, not only how I actually feel about a topic, but gets me feedback from others in return. Often times I get half way through a response only to realize that what I'm typing makes no sense and maybe I'm not as 100% certain as to my stance on an issue as I…

It can, but the argument from an MRA point of view is that feminists are trying to have their cake and eat it too. Trying to cherry pick where genetics and culture matter and where they don't. For example they like to say things like "women are just as strong as men if not stronger" until it comes to something like this issue that would directly affect them. I think an under appreciated aspect of the gender debate is how much of it actually has nothing to do with equal rights and more to do with…

The main point a lot of people are raising is that it's hypocritical to say that men and women are equals when it comes to anything that benefits women i.e. Men and Women are equal so we should have more women CEOs. But then shrink when it comes to anything that might not be beneficial i.e. If men and women are equal then either they both should have to sign up for the draft or neither of them should. Also worth noting I haven't seen to many posts questioning or trying to equalize the male to fe…

I recently had a conversation with a co worker about this. I mentioned that someone I knew had "forgotten" to take her pill a week before the guy's vasectomy so that they could have a 4th when he only wanted 3 max. She said that's perfectly ok because what right does he have to say she can't have another kid!? I tried explaining over and over again that it's completely fucked up to saddle a guy with a kid he doesn't want and what right does she have to put him in that position!? Her response was…

If life has taught me anything, it's if you think you're seeing something for the first time, chances are it hasn't been the first time it's happened, just the first time you've seen it.

/r/ADHD. I was diagnosed at 29 and have been on Concerta for over a year now. It's been a pretty great change in my life. It doesn't solve all your problems but it does surprise you in a more subtle fashion. At least that's been my experience.

I found that when I started reading trp, the first question I started asking myself, almost as a mantra, is "what do I want?" because I honestly didn't know, and still don't 100% of the time. I've been beta in so many aspects of my life that what I wanted didn't come into play all that often. After this started, I found myself being stoic more often as a by product. I now realize this was because I was only talking as much as I used to in order to entertain others. I was on an subconscious crusa…

The changes weren't obvious to begin with and I still don't feel different all the time. But when I sit down to do something, I'm better able to get in the zone as far as seeing it through to completion. I feel like it isn't as effective sometimes too but I notice the changes when I don't take it.

I know there's consequences, I never said there wasn't, that's why I keep a journal and re-read it to check for any major personality changes like bouts of depression, I also ask my spouse to tell me if she notices any changes in me and if she does I'll bring it up with shrink. All I was saying is that in my experience, these meds didn't turn me into a zombie. Though I can see how mixing multiple psych meds would, like u/alisonstone mentioned.

Based on my experience with my psychiatrist, I can see how that would be the case. My problem was that I grew up in a house with 2 people that had pretty severe ADHD mixed with some depression/bipolar tendancies as well so my symptoms went unnoticed for a long time. I didn't get myself diagnosed until 29 years old when I found it was interfering with my work a lot. When I finally got around to getting it looked at I was routinely asked if I was experiencing other conditions that usually manifest…

America had a period where every other nation that could compete with them was recovering from WW2 that devastated economies all over the world. The US on the other hand was geographically isolated and had built up massive manufacturing infrastructure to support the war effort that was then converted into manufacturing jobs for returning vets and the new female working class. America's hold on the world economy began to loosen once recovery from the war outside of America reached the point that …
