Most murder victims were known by their assailant. I'd be interested to know if women or men are more likely to be victimized by a stranger completely at random. The 'it could happen to you' aspect creates more media frenzy. The same reason 3 can die in a mass shooting and get 24 7 coverage while 100 gang members can be killed in Chicago and get minimal coverage. Most people aren't gang members so it doesn't carry the same threat.

This is most workplaces these days. Men get all the work done and women get all the support, attention, and easier access to promotions. As much as I disagree with a stipend, affordable child care is something that America should figure out so that couples have a bit more freedom to work or stay home depending on what is best for them. Child care is too expensive for a huge number of families and it really limits the paths many can take. Some men have to stay home with the kids even if they would prefer to be working. They just don't make enough at work to justify paying for child care.

Why are you reading feminist propaganda enough to know their thoughts on the patriarchy? I'll never understand this group. Why read articles just to trigger you and then complain about what the articles said. I've been able to ignore feminists every day for my entire life. Why can't everyone else?

Too many women would rather play the victim card than realize they are victimizing men. Theres few things sadder than people desperately claiming to be a victim. Men are the victim of the ongoing gender war and it is not going to correct itself any time soon.

False allegations of rape are incredibly common. Some say as much as 78 percent of reported rapes are made up. You can't trust a women enough to be alone with her, especially if she is drunk. Play it safe, and don't sleep with drunk women no matter if you are drunk too or not.

Good to see women speaking out against feminism. Article is very true. Telling strangers to smile or calling random girls pretty is seen as sexist. Pretty sure compliments aren't sexist but that doesn't stop feminists from losing their minds.

I think I see what you're saying. Go back to more traditional gender roles where men provide and women tend to the home. This way men and women aren't being forced into competition and its more conducive to cooperation. Is that right?

Attacking men is now perfectly acceptable. Women used to rely on men for their stability and now that they aren't, women feel like they can be dismissive and cruel. Im not sure our society can handle women getting any more independent.

People don't like the 'what about men's rights' coming up when discussing women's issues. Just like people here wouldn't like 'what about women's issues' on a post about men's rights. People get upset easily, especially if they feel like 'their side' isn't being taken seriously.

Mens rights have a stronger foothold in reddit due to the gender and age of the typical reddit user. There are mens charities that pop up here and there and some mens issues are being discussed more in academia and practicality. But the movement is still fairly new. I don't know why the movement hasn't grown faster but I would guess its feminists blocking it from growing because they want men to continue suffering from mental illness and depression.

Exactly. There is no huge conspiracy that the patriarchy is trying to oppress women. And there is no conspiracy theory that feminists are trying to oppress men. People need to stop blaming their problems on groups of people and just live their lives.
