Precisely. Alphas have it great right now, since they tend to have their pick of women. In times past, there was more societal shaming of sluts. Cultural practices were in place to combat alpha male promiscuity, such as shotgun weddings. Betas have pretty much been left in the dust in this new scenario, since they are still operating under the old paradigm of courtship, which has been rendered obsolete by feminist reform. Now female promiscuity is seen as "liberating", due to the fallacious equa…

There is a wealth of information in the manosphere on how to deal with hypergamy. Some tenets of the red pill are so important that it is worth repeating them ad infinitum until they are drilled into your skull. For those struggling with fully accepting red pill truths, pieces like these that appeal to the emotions are just as essential as the ones that appeal to reason.

I love video games, but I have given them up for the most part because they are more addictive than crack. As for the hypothesis that games generally appeal more to men due to the problem-solving focus, there is much merit to that idea. Girls love games like the Sims and Farmville, since they are centered around social interactions and the gathering side of hunter-gatherer.

This is a 20 year old model, supposedly a paragon of beauty. She often hits headlines for her jaw dropping appearances. But why? She looks like a California surfer dude. It reminds me of the Chateau Heartiste post on how Supermodels Are Not Hot, since they tend to have more masculine features.

How is a post that is being realistic treated as being a "shitty outlook"? He is perfectly on target with his assessment of the general hot American woman. You just don't want to hear that improving your attractiveness to women takes a ton of hard work, much more than repeating some self-help mantras and working on inner game. h/t Roosh v twitter. I'm somewhat surprised that Huffington Post would host such an evenhanded article about men's rights. In my opinion, this trend toward metrosexuality is due in large part to consumerism. Those working in marketing know that women account for 85% of all consumer purchases, much of it owing to their vanity. By encouraging men to have similar concerns, such as "Am I Hot or Not?", they are attempting to tap into the relatively unexploited niche of male consumer spending.

An alpha wouldn't have gotten into such an absurd, extreme situation, simple as that. And yet her alpha boyfriend ended up going to the slammer, and most likely would have anyway whether the beta had called the cops on him or not. The alpha already had a history of run-ins with the law. He seemed quite capable of getting himself into absurd, extreme situations. Being alpha doesn't necessarily mean being intelligent.

It would be really interesting to see how an alpha version of the poster approached those situations. Aside from all of his crying and gnashing of teeth, that beta managed to execute some perfectly dark triad maneuvers.

His hypothesis is very interesting. However, I think that this paper is taking a more nuanced view of female homosexuality and the recognized trend of female sexual plasticity. The paper presents a compelling argument for why so many women are able to form romantic attachments with other women, which has long been a mystery. Male sexual preferences tend to be highly static, whether they be homosexual or heterosexual. Reminds me of that study where women were turned on by straight, gay and monkey…

The red pill isn't comparable to racism or any other kind of bigoted ideology that espouses superiority. It's about how men are better at being men than women are, just as women are better at being women than men are. Saying that men and women deserve equal rights is a far different statement than claiming that they are equal. It's like comparing apples and oranges. P.S., we might as well start calling animals in the animal kingdom sexist for displaying sex-specific behaviors that are similar to…

ABSTRACT Given the primacy of reproduction, same-sex sexual behavior poses an evolutionary puzzle. Why would selection fashion motivational mechanisms to engage in sexual behaviors with members of the same sex? We propose the alloparenting hypothesis, which posits that sexual fluidity in women is a contingent adaptation that increased ancestral women’s ability to form pair bonds with female alloparents who helped them rear children to reproductive age. Ancestral women recurrently faced the adapt…

How much do you presume to know about our so-called ideals? They aren't ideals, but rather an interconnected framework of theories. Emulating the behavior demonstrated by red pill theories can lead a man to a more masculine existence. However, nothing here is necessarily carved in stone. In addition, "asshole" and "alpha" aren't synonymous terms. One need only encounter a beta who is passive-aggressive to see another example of asshole behavior.

Definitely side-bar it. Why don't so many people understand that the onus is on them to disprove facts about evolutionary biology? Also, I have noticed that the average person who I come across tends to deride evolutionary psychology, usually by invoking the argument "But we're not animals! We're different! We can rise above our instincts!" It often trips them up when I point out that marriage is an example of rising above such instincts, those of female hypergamy and male promiscuity.

Because of this, I slept with around 8 people last year. I'm not ashamed of it and I needed to get it out of my system. This year I have different interests and needs. Read: This year, I realized I could leverage my looks for material gain, as well as sexual.

This isn't a democracy (or should I say "mobocracy"). We need strong leadership to keep our sub high quality.

I've heard great things about No More Mr. Nice Guy. Evo psych is incredibly important. Along those lines, I would recommend The Myth of Monogamy: Fidelity and Infidelity in Animals and People. This book helped bring a lot of things together that I was reading at the time.

Perhaps. It reminds me of the Jack Donovan essay that was posted in TRP recently, Everyone a Harlot. I think that the rise of metrosexual culture has much to do with men worrying so much about their looks these days. Consumerist-driven marketing schemes to tap into the male market have started succeeding in feminizing and emasculating the Western male, making him just as vain and narcissistic as his female counterpart.

As Chinweizu points out toward the end of AoFP, the tomboys are actually the best potential allies for men. In many ways, these women are men trapped inside a woman's body. It's the traditionalist females and those protecting the matriarchy who are our greatest enemies. Also, "termagants" like Andrea Dworkin are sadists who merely want to inflict suffering on all men.

I would say that #6 needs to be updated, since we now know that testosterone is the main determinant of sexual desire. Therefore, having billboard pictures of hot guys with their junk hanging out still wouldn't balance out the inequality of this type of advertising, since men have 12-17x as much testosterone as women. Though it may distract women somewhat, it wouldn't be nearly to the same level as men are distracted by nude women. Also, attraction is primarily visual for men, but primarily due …

I finished the book about a week ago. I found how the author framed everything as fairly nihilistic. Basically, it is nearly impossible to escape from the stranglehold that female power has over us men. I really liked the section on double standards: 1) In the Western World, the wife of a king is queen; but the husband of a queen is not necessarily king. Otherwise, why is Prince Phillip, husband to Britain's Queen Elizabeth II, only a prince and not king? And why was Prince Albert, husband to Br…

How come "eating disorder" is always assumed to be something like anorexia? The majority of Americans suffer from eating disorders in the opposite direction... straight toward Fatsville.

In America, we frequently hear the bromide that conservatives are mainly responsible for the war on science. It's time to reexamine this notion, as just as much codswallop is uttered on the liberal side.

The stuff about the dongles wasn’t even logical and as a self professed nerd, that bothered me. Dongles are intended to be small and unobtrusive. They’re intended for network connectivity and to service as physical licence keys for software. I’d consulted in the past with an automotive shop that needed data recovery and technical support. I know what PCMCIA dongles look like. So much for a sense of humor. She sounds even more Aspergers than the typical male tech nerd.

What about the dozens of chumps at the bar who unsuccessfully try to chat up the two hot waitresses, then tip them way too much in a desperate plea to be noticed? At least the potentially clingy guy is actually dating one of them.
