She’s not supporting it. It’s pointing out the hypocrisy of people who are fine with other violations of bodily autonomy like denying the right to abortion and people who circumcise. But this one is outrageous? Most people who are mad at just this vasectomy scenario are too fucking stupid to realize their own hypocrisy though.

It doesn't sound like she's supportive of that. Just stating a fact. Most people seem to be fine with that violation of autonomy, why not this one as well?

But pointing at someone doing something worse than you doesn't mean you're not being kinda shitty too. You're dissembling.

is just bringing up an issue, I haven't seen the article but since it's just a screen shot, it's obviously just intended to "whatabout" homeless who are men. Discussing the issues homeless women face does not detract from the issues homeless men face, the post is inflammatory to imply the article dismisses men's issues with no evidence. how is it a pussy pass? It's something any entitled young dude could do too, without some evidence she tried to like "I'm a woman you have to blah blah" it's not…

Sexist whataboutism. Nothing to do with her gender, just an excuse to call her a dumb blonde Weak excuse to rip on "girl gamers" when it's a shitpost chat I'll say I think this sub is less sexist than FDS, but it is still quite sexist, especially when you get into the comments.

mistreated and harassed by her ex-boyfriend, who put glue on her vagina and then left her half-naked at a station. So idk if this is a mistranslation or something but this indicates it wasn’t to simulate semen to try to trick the cops into thinking she was raped, it was glue to say “he abused me and poured glue into my vagina,” So while it’s still bad, of course, she’s not so dumb as to think she could trick cops into thinking glue was semen. She was busted because of the utensils she was spotte…

Is the voting thing for another country? I was just discussing this the other day, and there's nothing to stop you voting if you do not sign up for SSS. There's a myth that if you don't register to vote that you can't be forced to sign up for the SSS but it's not true, they're not related at all. Edit: Nothing here that says anything about not being able to vote, nor anything in the state specific legislations. You bitch about OP getting downvoted for speaking truth but then do the same here?

I think there's definitely such a thing as toxic masculinity, shit like fathers not letting their sons cry or have emotions, or men acting like women owe them sex, but masculinity itself is totally fine. There's toxic femininity too, women shitting on other women for not shaving their legs, or their clothes/makeup.

Bells aren't very ideal, best to keep them inside. Cats can learn to run without jingling the bell, and many birds won't recognize the sound as a threat. If you really must be that person and let your cat outside, you should put a UV reflective collar, or a bib that impedes the cat's running on them.

This isn't even overreacting this time. That's totally reasonable if your bf says they'd fuck your friend if you're goofing and talking about celebrities. You expect a celebrity in return, which you know is just goofy talk because duh, they're celebrities. To say your best friend is fucking shitty.

Literally left a comment just before my first that I'm for men being able to surrender rights for not having to pay support. I think with a woman's choice to continue a pregnancy means if she is going to need support, she needs to make sure the father is on board, or else she shouldn't continue with it. Just kind of like...how is there any sort of equivalence between "keep it in your pants" and deadbeat vs. that, being called a whore and a baby killer, whatever.

The ongoing medical treatment is not coming from an unwilling human though. A better argument would be if we hooked sick people up to healthy ones against their will.
/r/MensRights26/01/17 07:34 PM
1

That would basically be an artificial womb at that point, which means the woman doesn't have to stay pregnant, but the fetus could be incubated and then someone who wants it could adopt it.
/r/MensRights26/01/17 07:32 PM

That's what the last resort means. As in, only if birth control is a failure (or the usual exceptions, rape, abnormality, etc). Which is going to happen, always and forever, even the implant has a .03% failure rate, meaning if 1,000,000 women were using it, in a year, 300 will become pregnant. And honestly, if you really think that a woman has an abortion for pleasure, you need to stop talking to mentally ill people and listen to people who have actually had one. It's not easy. Even to women who…

Same thing for women. Ask about the husband, if you already have kids, "what if you change your mind?" most of the time you have to have a decently long history of asking for it before a doctor will do it. You can get lucky though.
/r/MensRights26/01/17 07:24 PM
1

The hell? Yes we are. Just because we do have a choice doesn't mean women aren't shamed for it. Not to mention the increasing difficulty of getting the abortion if you're not fairly well off or can find assistance/transportation.

Because bodily autonomy should be considered one of the most important rights someone has. Do you want to be forced to give up a kidney to someone? No, because it should be your choice. Same with continuing a pregnancy. Until an artificial womb is possible, or men can gestate the fetus, it is not fair to the woman to even consider forcing her to give up the right to her own body just because you want a baby and she doesn't. And no, I do not think men should be forced to pay if a woman choose to …

I've read stories of people who have had their children die from being left in cars. Some are charged, some aren't, and those that are charged usually don't go to jail anyway because they're normal parents who haven't had problems before. So if she hadn't been charged with anything before, I could see why she didn't go to jail for it. Everyone was crying pussy pass and shit, but from what I've seen that's pretty normal treatment of accidental death by being left in car. Dumping the baby has noth…

Men don't often get punished for the first type of incident either, because it's considered an accident in most cases. Perhaps hers was not just an accident and she was mistakenly allowed free but that could happen to anyone.

Uhhh no, you can't straddle or spread your legs, your legs are tied together, at best, at the ankles, more likely the knees by your pants. It's literally just like you're sitting but you don't put your ass all the way down. And I mean, it's only for 20-30 seconds, tops.

Give me some logic behind a half formed fetus being more deserving of rights than a full formed, conscious, sentient woman, and maybe I'll believe it's murder. Til then, it's not, as a fetus is not a person as defined by law.
