Is this even a real thing and not just like, some weird internet meme that less than .0000001% of actual people are doing? Nope. Liberal chicks will hang out with liberal guys who she knows voted blue so no point in punishing them. Conservative guys will still be getting the same amount of action in their own circles.

That is just average male manipulatability (is that a word 😄)? The old guy's bound to say yes more because he probably doesn't mind the money as much and doesn't really have any better options. I would argue that both the young and the old guy have the same instincts when it comes to buying you drinks, but for the old guy the opportunity cost is lower.

ITT: Open transphobia. The app literally advertises as a dating portal for LGBTQ Folks. If you didn't want all of those letters you should have gone for a different app. There isn't even a hint of "this is for bio women only" in their self description.

Yeah, not really the situation I was talking about. I just meant to say once you date a few times there are certain standards that just tend to establish themselves or rather your partners have picked up some part of the truth of what it takes to have a healthy relationship. I've heard both irl and on reddit stories from people who were leaving their high school sweetheart and some of the stuff just sounds outlandish to anyone who has done some dating. I remember one post on reddit that had gems…

If they've been high school sweethearts the other person has at most had kid-relationships so I wouldnt necessarily count that.

Listen to advice from women (and men) who have been in happy relationships for 10+ years instead. Just make sure they have been with other partners before. 10+ years high school sweetheart relationships follow way different rules.

I see a chance in like 50 years when AI co-teachers have been developed at a sufficient level. Where are they gonna find enough staff to not only care for but also teach the children of literally everyone in society if not through the use of AI to provide individual tutoring. That final thing they mention, about reducing unnecessary competitiveness is definetly a good thing though. I wouldn't wanna grow up like they do.

From what she told there is no indication of that. Sounds more like boyfriend was thinking something like OP how he needs to prove to her that he's a man, lost his cool and attacked the guy.

I think that "dating is very hard for men" is kind of a majority opinion on this sub. Your position essentially boils down to "here is this thing that will potentially make it easier, but it's not strictly necessary so it's a waste".

Single moms have sex, I've seen em do it. They also have to do 100% of chores, are the sole breadwinners in their household, and have to take care of all childcare. They've gotta change the oil in their cars and fix the leaky sink too. Surely these women should have too much stress and not enough time to make whoopie? Simple difference: As a woman you get NSA sex on tap. Like the biggest effort invovled in finding a somewhat acceptable fuck buddy is finding a capable baby sitter.

Do you have any experience with adult autistic men? I feel like these inappropriate things would mostly happen for the low-functioning ones and young ones who haven't yet learned any skills so to speak to deal with their condition and what's appropriate. I've recently met an adult autistic guy (aspergers) and he's literally the opposite, always extra concerned to be polite, not piss anyone off, say nothing inappropriate, retreats when he's feeling overwhelmed instead of having a tantrum etc...

if I had to express it mathematically I would say, game is kind of a multiplier. It has diminishing returns (a 2 wont become a 4 but a 5 might become an 8) and having none of it means your smv is effectively 0. You think some Andy with a BMW, an average face and 0 game is drowning in low quality pussy? Look at Elliot Rodger for example, dude was a 8 or 9 on paper relative to his age group but had some kind of personality disorder and it made him undatable.

I've actually seen a post from a guy like that recently on another unrelated sub, who was having absolutely no success with women and was lamenting about it/seeking advice. Eventually he admitted to having thoughts of writing autistic women in hopes of "at least" landing with them. He was shamed by the comments and rightfully so, it's unempathetic towards that woman and selfish but that doesn't mean its as you describe. I meant what I said. One of the subs for autistic women had a rule like that in place. People literally target women with autism because the men feel like "at least with them I'd have a chance". Not saying it's a good thing (or that the'd actually have a chance - the inherent value of a woman with autism is still higher than that of a NT male), just that I agree with OP that autistic women have a way easier time dating. I'd look it up but I'm on mobile.

From what I gather from Wikipedia on "female gaze theory" - yes it is. From what I can tell it isn't it's own thing. It's just basically not the male gaze (portraying women as sexual objects for male pleasure). If there's more to it please share, but so far I'm not convinced.

I'm not BP per sé but I 'll answer within the constraints of the question. I feel like you are conflating things here. What does BP actually preach? "Just be yourself". But that's just a catch phrase, too simple for detailed real life situations so you need to take out some of the absolutes and try to identify the general trend being addressed. And when you give someone advice there is usually some purpose involved, something you want them to reach. I'll make the opposite example first: Absolute…

My first girlfriend told me years later that she had a hard time getting over me and that her type is still influenced by me (including some conventionally unattractive traits). So I don't see how this would be a thing exclusive to men.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 07:50 PM

Well, unless I am missing something the entire thing is talking about men who do not identify as a woman fetishizing the thought of being a woman. So literally nothing in common with OP who is a woman who likes feeling sexy, as herself.

Is it a well known fact that women do this for themselves? Sounds like a rationalisation for liking the positive attention by men. Like even if your girlfriends are like "Wow, you're sexy today" don't they mean "a heterosexual guy would like you more like this"? So no, I'd like to feel sexy but I'd like to feel sexy for female attention, not for myself.

I see it more as a commercialization of the red pill. When I first read some red pill idk how many years ago it had more of a bro-science dudes helping each other out vibe, maybe a bit too aggressive but with a clear goal, helping out guys who are unhappy with their lovelives. Then as the things go, the creators noticed they had a following and tried to turn it into money, some succeeded. These days red pill is yet another way of reaching a certain type of consumer and tradcons realize that this…

I didn't mean to, but radical feminism is the brand of feminism that essentially thinks of men as the brutal foot soldiers of patriarchy. Without meaning any personal insult I feel it's fair to say that there's a chance that an extreme opinion like this will stand in the way of having relationships to the people you're saying these things about.

I don't think it's ever "too late", just "too late for". My grandmother was friends with a professional violinist. He apparently never had any relationship with anyone until over 50, then he found a wife and married. That's not young love and there's no way they'll have kids at that age. So not too late for him, but too late for kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/24 06:50 AM

because male sexuality is predatory to a degree and because men have a long history of ephebophilia. Of course it's wrong but it's a common, cross-cultural phenomenon. Lol. With women though, I don't get it at all. How could a grown woman find a little boy attractive? LOL! You are experiencing cognitive dissonance because your sexist opinions about men and women are rooted in personal bias and not reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/24 10:33 AM

Who exactly are you talking to . It would make sense that the RPers you're talking to on PPD are mostly the ones who are currently struggling in their lives and not the ones who are out there living their best lives and sleeping with interesting women. So might just be selection bias.

„bro you just have to be a good guy and the right one will appear“ is very extinct. As someone who grew up in the late 90s/early 00s - was this ever a thing past what tradcon mums told their sons? Like sure, that was what you heard from mums and aunties who let their love of you get the better of their judgement but to actually maintain that opinion once you started dating for real? Doubt it.

Cringe terminology aside, this is a common theme in dating. Usually tied to earning less rather than "being a leader" or whatever but still common. Can't speak for other countries but in Germany the paragraph on exhibitionism explicitly specifies that it has to be a man who commits the crime. A woman would at most be charged with public nuisance ('arousal of public outrage') but the paragraph on exhibitionism couldn't be applied and someone would have to report it for the police to even have a reason to act.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/23 08:47 AM

As pink pill leaning person, it doesn't bother me at all that someone might be happier with an android rather than a flesh and blood woman, no one else is hurt by that decision at all. I don't see ai girlfriends as something that "some men might be happier with". AI girlfriends are the response of men to a changing society in which women get to share the 10% men and the rest doesn't have their needs and desires met. It's a band-aid solution.

I would disagree that it's a bad thing for women. It's just too much of a good thing. Like women do enjoy attention, even sexual attention from men. Women do start complaining about becoming invisible when this kind of attention stops and I've heard women say stuff like "I could tell he wanted me and it turned me on". There is a modern phenomena in western society whereby men of older, senior age pronounce their inclination to interact sexually with other men. More often than not, men proclaim identification as "bisexual", retaining their heterosexuality, however it becomes apparent that they much prefer sex with other men, shunning interaction with the opposite sex as second-rate. It's not pervy, it's just disgusting. Yes, the reasons for a large ejaculation as you describe them sound like something that should turn women on, but you still have bodily fluids in and around you, for many/most that thought is probably before "wow that's hot". No, it's not to their benefit because their already low market value is being thrown into a cutthroat buyer's market. Not just are women's values inflated due to low supply, it's also a really harsh environment because you get judged on your looks alone and there's 0 downside to rejecting someone.

I mean that's exactly why TRP exists and in the way it does. Girls are told to make themselves look pretty for guys, guys are told to be polite and have a good job. Not saying they shouldn't be polite, but some guys just assume they are operating on correct information, they're just not doing enough, so they become supplicating instead. I mean, what's the alternative for someone who simply doesn't know how to provide value to someone else's life or that that's even a factor.

Don't say that it's hard. That's just demotivating. Say that a lot of it is just luck (meeting the right person in the right mood, when you're both single) and the best way to improve the odds of that chance encounter is to do things that make you happy (because why would they want to share someone's life if that person isn't even happy with their own life?), to groom well (as to not scare them off when it does happen) and then just have fun with your friends (because when you're not among peopl…

Interesting. As a liberal dude myself, fairly young (low-30s), I think about this from time to time. Contemporary left politics doesn’t really offer much to a single guy in terms of incentives other than to take one for the team (doubly so if he is white and/or rich). Even policies which could in theory benefit these single men often don’t reach them in equal ways. The bad part is that they actually endanger traditional left-wing values like freedom of speech and are becoming more and more total…

His life is fine, with the only caveat that he never has any success with women and this starts to wear him down. As with any radical person the easiest way to de-radicalize them is to fix the problem that radicalized them in the first place. So if you want to do that for a RedPiller you need to find the actual issue that was holding them back and work on that. RedPill does a lot of that but of course not everything is necessary for everyone. So essentially "get them laid".

Hol'up. Who are these women that fall victim to romance scams? Certainly not Twenty-something college girls. My guess would be that these are post-wall women who are a) used to getting over the top male attention and b) not getting that attention anymore. It's basically narcissism: They think they deserve that attention because they *used* to get it so they don't question it when someone imitates that over-the-top attention to scam them.

Men who would “naturally” be good guys and do the right thing are now becoming predatory towards women, rather than using those instincts to be protectors and providers I think you're wrong. Modern feminism is basically the definition of penis-envy. They compare their lives to some idealized patriarch, say that compared to him they have been oppressed for centuries, then claim reparations in the form of getting what he has, at no cost to themselves. The problem is that what they're really asking for is more respect, and yelling for more respect is the last thing that will get people to respect you. (that no feminist has ever argued this) Okay, let's play the slatestar game. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/sep/05/straight-while-men-suffering-sex-feminism https://feminisminindia.com/2018/08/22/oppression-marilyn-frye-essay/ These two articles both argue that men can not be oppressed by the system. They're both written by feminists. And (sorry if I'm putting words in your mouth) if you ask why they aren't focusing on men's issues too if they're supposedly about gender equality for all …

Sorry, somehow didnt see your comment! I don't know how many times this has to be said, but actual feminists, not the ones you've made up in your mind or have seen cherry picked on the internet, understand and never refute that men have gender specific problems that should be fixed. In this case I like to quote "Radicalizing the Romanceless" by Scott Alexander: We will now perform an ancient and traditional Slate Star Codex ritual, where I point out something I don’t like about feminism, then ev…

Because ALL the women had it easier than ALL the men due to ONE historical event, sure. If I had to pick one it would be the year 1967 though: That's 37 years (=average age of attaining PHD) before the year that women started having more PHDs than men in the US (2004).

The question is, I guess, who has more? Who has it worse? Absolutely not! That is not a question anyone needs to be asking themselves. Victim olympics helps no one. The question is how to help both of them. And that's exactly the problem I have with feminism: The notion that ALL men are ONLY privileged and are always the oppressors, never the oppressed. If you willfully close your eyes to half of reality you're not going to have a full picture, just saying.

Maybe not one she likes, but I have seen girls reluctantly date someone with beta qualities in their teens/twenties, then cheating on him, yet still marrying him later. To me this means she isn't sexually attracted to him but strings him along for his beta qualities.

Anecdotally I would agree. Another factor that may play into it: The average college girl still considers daddy to be her provider. Since there's no economic uncertainty involved, that could be remedied by having a boyfriend, there is no incentive to date anything else other than someone who gives her tingles. I mean, it's not like those ugly gangbangers that are successful with women are also poor video games addicts, they do have SMV, it's just a market with different Demand ...

Try to get to 21% body fat (you can calculate your body fat using the circumference measuring method), regardless of what your partner thinks. Thats the lower end of the healthy spectrum for a woman in her twenties and that's what you should aim for. The only reason to be below 21% body fat (intentionally) as a woman is if you get paid a shit ton of money f…

No, that's not the definition of emotional tampon imo. A tampon is something you throw away after you use it and that's exactly what a friendship like that is characterized by. I don't feel like this is accurate. Betas are providers, not nerds. A blue collar car mechanic who quit highschool can be an alpha or a beta, depending on his mentality, frame and how he interacts with the world, I don't see how he can be considered a "nerd". I agree that the whole jock vs nerd thing had elements that are also discussed today, but at the essence of it, alpha/beta is a different concept.

As others have already hinted, I also think that this may be a symptom of platforms like Tinder making dating hyper-available. Women get a ton of matches, even with good looking men (who may just be looking for low-effort sex). With so many possible suitors obviously the low-attractivity men are automatically "filtered out" to a certain degree because why wouldn't they be?
