This is the same reason why I tell most people college isn't important even though I went to college. This society can't function if too many people get college degrees and aren't willing to do less paying labor jobs. Same reason I encourage people buy the newest phones when them come out even though I don't upgrade very often. Need to encourage people to spend their money to keep the economy going. Practical is renting a truck when you need it. I can rent a great pickup truck from lowes when I need to move something big. Or just get it delivered, it's much cheaper than buying a truck. The only time a truck makes sense is if you do construction as a job. But then pros just get things delivered because time not on site is time lost. You really want to just carry tools and a van does a much better job.
