Yeah, that’s not correct at all. You don’t get that from any study or any kind of depth on the issue, you get it from cognitive biases. Sorry, like I said, you simply don’t have a clue and it is evident here.

I’m not arguing with a man who gained his knowledge of Feminism from Red Pill ideology. Even if he had garnered a dislike for it before; he obviously has created a construct to argue against and an ideology that allowed him to want to swallow Red Pill ideology.

It has no value, none. There is no legitimacy to an abusive philosophy. It has no value except to those who don’t see women as having value. So, I guess it does to abusers; which is what the Red Pill teaches. You can’t make a case for abuse. It’s not right and you do seek it out. You chose to seek its advice and are now trying to put a happy face on it, but you have to remember, we know it’s abuses.

I teach it, along with other issues. Also; yes, experience doesn’t always reflect with age, but twenty year olds, especially ones who think the Red Pill is a legit thing, are not typical of a person who has experience in life. Otherwise they wouldn’t seek it out if they had things figured out.

I mean, you’re a young guy based upon your posting history. So, don’t pretend to have much of an idea and no one at your age is really independent. So, perhaps one day you’ll see the light and be here asking for help; but you can’t ignore the poor guys who were sucked in and then just miserable after being left out to dry by the philosophy. We see them on the Daily. So, carry on. You obviously have made up your mind about it. So, carry on.

I study it day in and out, don’t attempt to critique me on Feminism or even pretend to be on my level. Alpha/Beta is not a thing. Sorry. Independent women are not a rarity, at all. I’ve met many more that are, than not. Of course, I tend to hang around a higher class of people anyhow. If you really don’t understand why this ideology is bad, then there is no hope for you at this point and it’s a gateway to abuse, you already use abusive and archaic language. So, while you might not feel it is, yo…

I’d be happy to be interviewed. While I was never into Red Pill, I am a social worker who has been treating men who delve into the philosophy and want to get out.

SWERFS and TERFS arose from second wave feminism. The old guard from the 1970s.

Simply being honest and forthright is not unique to Red Pill philosophy, and in fact is not a staple of the philosophy. It teaches you to be less of a man by ignoring the whole person and focusing on ridged idealism of what a man is. Modern feminism is not a problem. You simply don’t have the depth on the issue to discuss it properly. It’s not that you can’t critique parts or ask questions for clarification, but blanket statements are not absolute as you want to put forth. Critiquing white femin…

Still, get some help. You need maintenance to keep yourself in check. We’re all proud you have been symptom free for the most part! However, we all need tune ups from time to time. I suffer with anxiety and I need medication to keep myself in check. I need a therapist from time to time to help rethink myself. I’m happy you made it though! The Red Pill is a fascinating thing, no doubt. It can lead to a dark place and you don’t want to be there. Please consider seeking some help to keep you on a g…

You are afraid of relapsing and that is completely normal. Listen, I do social work and have worked with addicts of all stripes. Like any addiction, relapse happens, but it’s not the end or that you are a failure! Relapse is actually considered part of the recovery process; but with an asteroid of course. We want you to keep moving forward, but don’t hate yourself for falling back into old habits. A good thing to do is make contact with a therapist. One who can and will teach you metacognition. …

No, don't. You have a lot of years left. You can go back to school, keep working out, volunteer with kids as you have been, and move out of your parent's house. You don't need to be perfect, no one is. I'm thirty eight and just got engaged. You're not in a hole so deep you can never climb out. You're working on yourself already and that's the most important thing right now! Depression hurts, I deal with it myself and it's not easy. Therapy can help with dealing with that issue and if pills are n…

Women will be attracted to who they are attracted to. There is no formula. I'm not a woman, but I've dated many, and am now engaged. She has a very rich father and a very rich uncle. She wants for nothing. I grew up a middle class farm boy, but gravitated towards city life and became a social worker. We met on a dating website and I was forthright with being a social worker (a job that's not a lucrative career) and about all the geekiness that I love. She loved my profile not because she thought…

You need to learn to love yourself or at the very least, not hate yourself. I'm 5'10" and weigh 230. I'm not exactly Brad Pitt. I hated the way I looked in high school and the first few years of University. Then I just started to become content with who I am. I learned through therapy to like myself. Liking myself made more people like me; including women. A relationship enhances your life; it doesn't define it. Listen, I like anime, pro wrestling, and all other things that are defined as extrem…

Women aren't that complicated. They are individuals and people are dynamic in personality. I'm not that good looking, but I work out to maintain a waste small enough to shop in a mall... and make funny jokes. Also, got educated, a job, etc. All this doesn't mean women will fall into your lap, but you will be more confident once you stop hinging your confidence on how women feel or you perceive them to feel. They, like men, have flaws and strengths because all humans do. So, until you let go of h…

Sure, cockiness is the belief that you have such extraordinary value that it is personally offensive that someone might not see you as you see yourself. Often these types of folks easily crumble under criticism. A confident person understands their strengths and weaknesses. They know themselves, have depth to their persona, and don't hinge their confidence upon what others think.

Funny enough, my fiancé loves my awkwardness. In fact, it's led me to many relationships. Of course, I'm not awkward all the time, I don't think you are either. I think some therapy where you can work on being triggered by others happiness. Just know that to focus solely on our own problems or to dismiss others outright will lead to even more crushing loneliness. Sometimes, we are victims of our own making. I want you to find love, but that's something you need to show. My previous relationships…

That's what I mean about possessive, hope that cleared it up a bit. Just know, that the right girl will appreciate being loved by you. Then you don't need to tell anyone... they'll just know. I can't really describe it, you just know it when both of you are on the same page.

Confidence is not cockiness and arrogance... those are separate things entirely. They are definitely not mutually exclusive.

I'm 38, I just got engaged. Do not ever judge yourself by what others are doing or have done. It's not ever, ever, going to end well. For one thing, it's okay to have feelings. It's how you respond to them that is your responsibility and acknowledging it is not okay to think like this is a fine first step. One thing, even if you don't mean it at first, be happy for them. They found happiness, no need to shit all over them because once you do, would you want the same in return? I know you won't b…

It is abuse, you don't own them. Saying "this is my boyfriend or girlfriend" is not what I am referring to. It is when you begin to treat them as an object to be watched... possession is never a sign of a healthy relationship. At all. Holding them close because you like or love them is one thing, holding them close because you think by doing so you are marking your territory is another.

I am a therapist and that is the primary goal. It's also to help you think about your thinking. Why are you obsessed with feeling worthless? Everyone has some inherent value to them, something to give to the world. You're not a psycho, probably nice, but just need a new hobby besides beating yourself up. I didn't get laid until I was 23 years old. Then had a five year hiatus. Sorry, but laying around and feeling bad for yourself will not lead to a relationship. Get some help, don't let yourself …

And you're going to brush off everything I say without a thought. You're not really here to get advice at this point, but hopefully you think about what your strengths are. You might not recognize them at this point because you're obsessed with feeling worthless.

That's why you are doomed to be single. You are placing all your esteem on a person you haven't even met yet. This girlfriend you have in your head, won't be the catalyst to a new you! You're not the first to make this claim and won't be the last... it never works. You might have a sudden uptake in esteem for a short while, but it's about as long lasting as seeing a motivational speaker. It all comes down to this, if you don't see value in you, why would anyone else? How are you supposed to rela…

Yeah, to an extent. Possessive is never a good thing in a relationship, she's not an item you own. To some women, this is an immediate red flag and is in no way being "nice." It's abuse. It's good to share our feelings, but it's not going to move a relationship forward unless those feelings are understood. Depending on what you are telling them, it might be something they don't want to handle. This might be a sign to work on yourself. Even though there is a stereotype that women like to be a sup…

I think the Black Pill is an excuse. You might need to work on yourself more, seek therapy that helps identify what is wrong and then works with you on overcoming those things. I'm a therapist, we don't just tell you you're depressed, hand you pills, and tell you how fucked in the head you are. There is no secret to women, there is no magical formula. Attraction is a complicated thing. It just happens. One thing I can tell you, a partner can smell self loathing a mile away. You won't be happy ju…

Yes, there is. You keep saying there is something wrong with you. Your esteem is measured by if you have or don't have a girlfriend. Listen, I'm not an expert on love, but somehow at least a few women thought I was worth dating and one is getting married to me. I loathed just like you for years, and I mean years. The thing that changed? I started to just focus on myself, improving what I wanted to improve, and had no expectations of love. As I became more educated, interesting, and articulate, w…

It may have started with love, I can't generalize the whole of it, but people can change, sometimes for the worst. When/if you ever get married, I would seek a counselor to help facilitate the transition to marriage.

I had a discussion with someone outside of Reddit who would be described as a Red Pillar. He was telling me of his conquests, his theories on women, domination, etc. He asked about my relationship, and I simply stated, that I ensure she feels more loved than the day before. That she is her own person, and I appreciate more than just her body. We have great sex, because we love one another, and go all out on each other's bodies. I am confident, I am a nerd through and through, but I wear at as a …

Yes, divorce is high. The matter of divorce, and the reasons therein are very complicated and I'll attempt to explain. The highest reason for divorce is financial issues. Now, we see "richer or poorer" in the vows, but our society doesn't reward marriage financially very much. Sometimes a divorce happens because to be married, in the civil sense is more expensive. Divorce rates decrease as income increases. Stability is key in a marriage. I always advise couples who are getting married to know e…

Just because something is fringe, doesn't make it more rational. Their ideas about eating healthy, exercising, have hobbies, etc. are all advice that is fairly common sense. They don't really discuss issues, it's more boasting about a conquest or 75 different ways to control a woman. I have seen it suggested that women be spanked, not sexually, but to correct a behavior. It's toxic, it's a hate group, a cult of personality, and is unneeded in modern society.

Also, IQ is a poor indicator of intelligence (irony is dead). Less and less people are using IQ as an indicator because intelligence varies across a spectrum, not a linear scale which typical IQ tests use. Generally intelligence can be seen in their abilities, I have two undergraduate degrees, a masters, and am working on my Ph.D. My girlfriend has a degree in architecture. Who is smarter? Based upon degree level, I am. However, I still have no clue whatsoever how to craft a design for a buildin…

The first thing you need to do is stop generalizing about women. TRP is a hate group, and their rational is inconsistent at best. I am a sociological researcher, and I can tell you that typically men and women have far fewer partners in life than what the media shows. Less than 5% of college age students want to be promiscuous, or have multiple partners. Exercising, working hard, eating right, and dressing well is good advice for anyone. When you meet a woman, don't attribute anything to her, do…
