Yup, I second this. Also, my mom and I both broke our in a nightmarish case of acne at the same time (I was 20, she was going through menopause) and we both swear by Proactiv. Its not for everyone but I cleared us both up after ~3 months of use every other day. /r/skincareaddiction has really helped maintain good skin thereafter.

Yeah. The word senpai comes to mind. The dynamic between senpai and the girl is pretty much this (except that senpai never notices her).

Step up your game I guess. Instinctively, I can see myself (in typical fashion) making more of an effort to appeal to him. It's healthy I think, to see other women be attracted to him. It confirms his value, boosts his ego and makes the sex a little wilder. But then again, I am a n00b at this game.

No no, nothing was missed. The timing of it all just gave me a chuckle. That's all. I haven't listened to top40 music since I was probably 14 (during the Britney Spears/N'sync era) so I don't have much to contribute on the music front. My playlist mostly consists of movie soundtracks (action/scifi/anime) and Nirvana. Always Nirvana. Considering Kurt Cobain was such a huge rape apologist, and feminist have slaughtered his image by calling him a feminist too - it's not a very RedPill taste. I'll j…

Haha, not to be an ass but over at TRP today the mods were all pissed off about movies and music posts pertaining to RP. Just weird timing for this post I guess.

I also like to shove cats in an ATM and read some Bret Easton Ellis on my way home.

I'd pay to read a book you've written about dark triad.

Nobody here is in a position to tell you what to do. If your husband has suggested therapy or medication, your first step should be to see a psychiatrist. Only a doctor will be able to diagnose you properly, mental health matters are complex and cannot be generalized.

He has incredible discipline. He's never missed a day of work and he plays cricket in a league so the discipline that comes with athleticism is something that seems to come naturally to him. It's just the financial thing we have to work on.

Wow, I didn't know that was actually a thing. So many people! Definitely forwarding this to my husband.

Oh, I assumed it was making his plate look pretty, arranging the food on his plate in a way that looks good specifically. I guess it must have been the picture accompanying that paragraph.

Thank you. I appreciate the cooking strategy, this is a place where I can definitely see myself playing a more involved role. By cooking less expensive meals and ordering in less, we could save a lot more. What are some neutral ways you ask him if "things are caught up"? I don't want to sound confrontational when I ask him this in the beginning/during the transitional period.

Thank you. I have $4k in savings for an emergency but I'm not sure if I should tell him about this in the event it encourages him to spend it. I want to keep this from him in case he does learn his lesson the hard way - at least we wont drown. Though I am in conflict about this because... well, it's wrong to hide things and all. In all fairness, the entire $4k is from a scholarship I won at school.

Thank you. So far, my thinking had been that he already failed to learn his lesson when he was earning and spending prior to our marriage - the consequence of which was the debt that he brought into the marriage (from living on his own as a student and then living with his parents). I'm getting used to the idea now that he was never really given a fair chance at managing the finances of a household. This is something that we will be working towards together now, I'll be handing the responsibilit…

Thank you. That seems to be the general consensus. We have started the conversation about handing our finances over to him.

Thank you. We do have separate accounts, it's just that I have the passwords and access to everything of his as well as my own. I had taken on a full course load at school so I wasn't able to juggle a job alongside that but come April I will find something part-time for personal spending/extra income. I can see how the "swooping in to save the day" was detrimental so far so I'll stop doing that. I know that he is capable of taking charge when he is needed so I will trust him. I have started the …
