If they were genuinely alpha, they wouldn't need all this RP crap. They seek it out because somewhere deep down, they know they're not alpha. But they want to believe they are. It's like how genuinely smart/rich/whatever people don't need to show off - they know they've got it. If someone is trying to show off, trying to prove something to you, it means they're insecure inside.

Because, if humans nowadays do something, how do you prove that 1) it's a biological instinct, and not just something society forces us to do, and 2) that it's because of any one specific thing in evolutionary history? You might be able to guess 1 by comparing human beings to animals closely related to us. But there is no way to prove 2. This guy used to have a lot of videos on his own channel (it seems like he's taken them down now, and just has something up about sex toys). I don't think you're an a-hole. I actually agree that some red pill stuff is true! That's what makes it scary. If it was 100% bs, it'd be way easier easy to see through it from the start. But because it has kernels of truth, I think it grabs some guys in and they don't realize that some of it is also wrong.

That's very true. Sorry if I sounded snarky or condescending in my earlier comments :/ Moments like this make me wanna start a YouTube channel (or something else) where I go into detail de-bunking red pill (also alt-right, etc.) talking points. I feel like a lot of liberals just make fun of the guys in these groups, but it's like, if you get sucked in, you really believe it and don't always see why some of it is wrong.
