It actually is simple though.

Not really man. Any dude can get buff, develop social skills, and get a high paying job. There are extremely rare exceptions, but most dudes who are genetically below average can obtain all of these things

Women don’t like top 10% men because they’re better than the rest. They like them because only those 10% men have attractive qualities.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/25 02:06 PM

lol idk why dudes think that having a pretty face is what gets you pussy Anybody who actually goes out to bars/clubs or just does lots of social things can see clear as day that some cracked ass dudes pull gorgeous women ALL THE TIME

A few fair points, but here’s what I’ll say I do think there are benefits to fashion beyond attracting women. Being well put together leads to better financial and social success too. But also, it’s really not that difficult to get a better sense of fashion. One of the easier things to do I believe we SHOULD be telling women struggling romantically to do things that make them more attractive to men. I don’t believe in political correct BS.

Source? Also, why do you assume every man will become a millionaire? Is this hypothetical what’s holding you back?

Nobody said anything about easy, but pretty much anybody can What’s your degree in?

You can definitely develop charisma. 90% of charisma is just presence, slowness, good listening skills, and willingness to be polarizing
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 07:33 PM

If you’re only using tinder as a threshold, maybe, but dudes that build strong social circles can slay
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 07:32 PM

This is just so objectively false If you are a multi millionaire with abs and you’re witty as fuck, you think being 5’8 and average nets you average women?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 07:31 PM
1

They’re not though. Chasing and pursuing what you want in life is what actually makes you a top 10% man. I mean what you truly want. Biologically, not instant gratification bullshit

I disagree. I think from the outside looking in it can seem that way, and I also think if you’re hanging around the wrong women you can definitely attract gold diggers, but I absolutely believe that renown and being seen as a leader is emotionally, psychologically, and physically attractive to most women
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 06:30 PM

How are you defining leading?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 06:26 PM

Want to elaborate on this one, or is “hahahaha I know everything and you know nothing” how you typically debate people?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 05:59 PM

No, you think that attractiveness is the same for men as it is for women. We men actually have it easy in that regard because we can become attractive by gaining status and renown. Women can’t do that. Most men are objectively unattractive because they are losers who don’t try

It’s not about being able to provide for her. It’s about being masculine. Being a man who pursues what he wants in life is being a masculine man. That is the most core tenant of masculinity - purpose, goals, focus, etc. Having money and fitness is sexy in a biological level to women because it is a sign that you’re a man who pursues what he wants in life I have dated women who make a lot more money than me. It was literally never an issue. I know what I want out of life, and I pursue it.

I’d argue that the “go homeless if you don’t want to work” comparison is exactly right. If you hate both choices I’m sorry, but you still have to choose one. To me, it’s an easy decision. Choice number 1 is being healthy, being able to have enough financial freedom to do whatever you want, feeling accomplished and having friends and people you care about, and having access to fulfilling all of your sexual and romantic fantasizes. Choice two is accomplishing nothing, feeling lonely, and only ever…

I don’t agree with that take. You think the reason why women like these men is because they’re better than the other men, and not just because they’re attractive? If you walk into a club and literally every woman there is a gorgeous 10/10 woman, I don’t think you’d be like “I only will accept the one that is better than the other hot women” Hot is hot. Attractive is attractive. The issue is that most men are just objectively unattractive
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 05:15 PM

More women are hot? Disagree. We have the highest obesity rate in recorded history. If anything, far less women are hot than ever before
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 04:24 PM
1

Humans aren’t movies. You want an attractive, feminine woman. If more women were hot, you wouldn’t suddenly need hotter women, you’d just have an easier time finding what you’re looking for
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 04:22 PM

That’s up to you to decide. If you think it’s not, that’s totally fine. You’re allowed to feel that way. But I feel like complaining about something that is within your control to change is the weakest form of existence. Either own your decision or don’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 04:13 PM
0

Okay, and? I mean, you’re not totally wrong, but also complaining about how unfair it is doesn’t do you any good. You think the men who accomplish those things sit there and whine about how unfair it is? It is harder in that regard as a man, but also far more rewarding than anything women are allowed to experience. Having the money and power and sexual options that only top value men get is literally the best life one can possibly be afforded. It requires more responsibility and work, but an inc…

Then why go into a debate thread? You come in here and arrogantly dismiss an argument in a thread labeled “debate” but refuse to actually provide a counter argument. What exactly are you getting out of being here? Feeling validated? Feeling superior on the internet? I feel like the underlying psychology behind this behavior low key tells me everything I need to know
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 03:57 PM

This is a logical fallacy. You’re not actually making an argument against it.

I mean sure, a 95 year old man with dementia and 3 teeth probably won’t be a 10% man. I feel like you’re just kinda splitting hairs here

I mean this harshly but respectfully - you’re going to always find an excuse to not try. The real, true reason though, if you search deep down, is because you simply lack self esteem and don’t believe in yourself. Your mindset is “why try? I’ll always fail” I hate the terms “beta” an “alpha” but this mindset is such a textbook example of what “beta” looks like. It stems from a complete lack of any masculinity whatsoever. I realize what I’m saying can come off as insulting. But instead of talking…

I don’t have one, hence why we’re debating the topic. If I had scientific evidence indisputably backing this claim, I’d have posted a scientific article, not a debate thread on my hypothesis. I have provided my arguments for it, and you’ve made a claim in opposition that would need a source to have merit, hence why I’m asking for a source. If you don’t have a source (which I’m assuming you don’t, because if you did, you’d have backed up your own claim instead of pulling an uno reverse card) - Wh…

I actually think it’s much more difficult for women than men. I do think being in killer shape helps, but I believe men care much more about physical appearance than women do
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 02:16 PM

Okay but do you think having a mid face but being shredded and rich and charming just makes you a bottom feeder? I mean this respectfully - anybody who thinks dudes with ugly faces cant get laid just doesn’t go out. I see cracked ass dudes pulling gorgeous women all the time.

You don’t think if you had a kick ass body, lots of money and charisma that you’d do better at dating?

“Being a top % man requires certain genetics” I just disagree. I think in a world where every man tried 100%, you’d be right, but because 99% if men are just not going to come anywhere close to their full potential, I actually believe most men can easily be a top 1-5%. Like I’ve said in this thread - I used to be. A fat slob that did nothing but smoke weed and play league of legends. I was broke, sexless, unhealthy, and unhappy. I slowly changed all of those things. I now have a job in tech sale…

Unless every man starts improving all of those things, I think by just sctivelu improving, most men can be I. The top 10%

I’m not making claims that need sources. It’s common knowledge that women like men with muscles and better income. Do you really need me to go dig up sources for that?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 01:01 PM

Are you really gonna let your bitterness towards somebody else prevent you from improving yourself? You should be wanting to improve your life for you. Getting laid is a bonus

I have changed my life drastically. What makes me so special then? I’m not a genius or 6 foot 3 or extra handsome. I’m just a normal ass dude who decided to get his shit together

Height can be tough and will absolutely limit you in some ways, but I don’t at all think it’s a deal breaker. If you have money and status and a nice body and a good social circle, there are enough women who will overlook height that it won’t kill you Male pattern baldness is whatever. Get muscles, a beard, tats, and a dgaf attitude. There are chicks that will dig that I don’t even think IQ is the most important determining factor to getting a high paying job. Grit is. You just have to get good …

You can definitely improve your social skills. A lot of it is just desensitization. Be in social situations, you become more comfortable and don’t feel that nervousness. Being able to just relax and be present goes hard in social situations

I’m a man who used to be a fat lazy slob who sat around smoking weed and playing LoL all day. I’m not a man who is fit, has lots of friends, is a black belt in BJJ, and has a good job in tech sales. I’ve seen both realities. I’ve lived in both of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/25 10:00 PM

I mean I don’t have the guys from Queer Eye on speed dial, but you can find clothes that fit and get a haircut that best fits your features. Sometimes, that means asking for help, especially from female friends
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/25 09:58 PM

I feel like that’s a ridiculous scenario because not every man is going to improve himself in that way. That feels like a cop out. You should want to be the best version of yourself anyway, and pussy shouldn’t be the sole reason you want to be your best self

I disagree with the looks, wealth, and status. I absolutely think those play a role, but I believe masculine energy matters more than those other three things. I also believe status is more important than looks and wealth, although I’d concede that looks and wealth make obtaining status much easier.

My claim is that women only fuck the top 10% because only the top 10% do these things. If 100% of women on this planet were bombshell gorgeous, you wouldnt still only be attracted to the same %. There’d just be more attractive women.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/25 09:55 PM

My claim is that women only go after the top 10% because only the top 10% actually put effort into these things. If every man did, women would fuck the top 50-60% instead.

I’m open minded, but can you elaborate with some examples?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/25 09:53 PM

Assuming everybody is pursuing it, you’re correct. But since that’s not the case (nor will it ever be the case), not having one or working towards one is just an excuse.

It’s not lack of empathy. I’ve been a fat loser that smoked weed and played video games all day and had no social skills. I also am now experiencing life as a guy with a tech sales job who is in killer shape and has a black belt in BJJ and lots of cool friends. Honestly, even without the increased dating success, life is infinitely more gratifying now. It’s crazy to me that you see improving these things as “not worth it” because These things just flat out improve every aspect of your life
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/25 09:50 PM
0

Yeah, I’d agree, but I also think women would date more than just the top 10% because the next 20-30% would be a lot more attractive than it is now As it stands, most men ARENT doing those things, so by just doing them, you become the top 10%. If a hypothetical world where every man on the planet also does those things is your excuse, then your true limiting factor is your mindset
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/25 09:48 PM
-1

I think the only reason why women chase the top 10% is because it’s only the top 10% that are working on most of those categories. I believe it easily could be top 50% if men stepped up.

I met a girl for a walk in the park. We walked for three hours, got to know each other really well, ended up sleeping together that night. Didn’t spend a dime other than gas
