Glad to hear it's going well for you. I, too, am new too RPW and find I'm becoming happier than I was before. I was never a total "feminist," but I did have tendencies. Really it was just me fighting my inclination toward being what a wife should be. I still struggle with time management (work full-time, 3 kids-2 in school & 1 in daycare, my husband is away for work 4 days/week...sometimes more), but I'm working on it. Good luck to you! :)

Glad to hear it's all good! Military life is a whole different world. And military relationships take a lot of patience and sacrifice. It's a great life, though!

I think the same people that refer to men as misogynists are also the same people that look down on RPW. I've heard the term "doormat" and been told I'm taking the women's movement back to the dark ages. There's also the criticism of having no pride or opinions of my own.

I'm pretty new to this RPW lifestyle...and I'm still learning. However, I find that "never say no" is the easiest to follow. Even in the midst of all of the problems we're having, our sex life is still very much in tact.

I wouldn't make a big thing of it. For one think, military personnel (especially active duty) are discouraged from putting too much information out there for security reasons. Also, keep in mind, for military relationships, it's military first, relationship second. It's not an easy life and it takes adjustment, but it is what it is.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
