A little bit of both. I also am in general curious how thought and opinions are become more radicalized. Just kind of want to stay in the know.

You are absolutely correct. I feel my co-worker sent me this headline to trigger my irritation about non-professional diagnosis and I took the bait.

Lady I have a full dance card. Some may say your question in and of itself is gaslighting.

I am qualified. I certainly do steer them away from diagnosing themselves and others. It takes an expert to make a diagnosis and even we are wrong sometimes. I see you are hurting, maybe you should talk to someone, doesn't need to be a therapist. It sounds like you could use human interaction right now not to be on reddit.

Let's not use therapy speak unless you are a therapist or have the credentials to back it up. Please don't generalize. There may be some men here that do. I am sorry if that is your experience. As a therapist when l have had gaslighting between couples and it's not just different view points. It's pretty eaqual between men and women.

As ex-military I kinda have a built in network that I help and have received help from. For instance, I helped a buddy move his daughter and her roommate into a house for their first year of college last week as did 3 others from our old unit. When I was going through some dark time s struggling with suicidal thoughts seven of them took me up to a cabin in Colorado to get my crap sorted.

Kinda a loaded question for me. Depending on the woman I may think she cannot stand on her own two feet and should be avoided or she has som crazy ex's.

Personally, I am glad I am in a relationship. As a therapist, I have seen how the dating game has become unequal and somewhat broken especially the last 10 years. Dating has also become more passee and superficial. I see teens in my practice taking steroids and starving themselves just to get noticed. Women have evened out the dating playing field and in some cases taken it over. Being most now have more education and are commanding better jobs then men. Good for them. Men for the most part fall…
