So this is totally something I can get behind, as I regularly tell people that they need to make friends of the opposite sex for the sake of deconditioning and reconditioning socialized responses - good idea!

Managing outward expressions of emotions is a normal part of being an adult. Suppressing them leads to therapy, not to mention some pretty toxic behavior that can royally dork up whatever game & social cred you thought you had with others.

Be confident, be present, be attentive. There’s something goddamn sexy about a woman whose willing to ask for what she wants, and if that’s paired with a shapely body & an intelligent mind, that’s the stuff of dreams for most worthwhile men.

Branch out further and further. It’ll take you a little while, but you’re looking for love in the wrong place. MeetUp.com is fantastic, and if you’re into any kind of gaming or sport, look for Discords in your area.

Figure out what makes you tick and stop wearing a mask in front of other people. This is going to sound cliché as fuck, but be authentic. Whatever you are, be that. Be that proudly, but without being a dick to other people. Be a big personality, and then make room for people you like an invite them into the conversations you’re having. People look at seduction like it’s all about coming off the right way, and it is. But only to the point of coming off the way that you are deep down, because if y…

Folks become confident and secure in themselves when they do the work to become confident and secure in themselves. That looks different for everybody, and it usually has nothing to do with external validations.

Connect to them as people first, women second. They have the same fears, same capacity for depth of feeling, and same individuality of perspective as any male-bodied individual. If you start there, you’ll have less fear as you humanize them instead. Self-protection of this particular variety likely stopped serving you years ago, if it ever did to begin with.

Life is a whole lot easier when you communicate what you’re looking for & ask for it directly. If she puts up a boundary, accept it and move on. Consent is sexy and those who give it’ll come back for more and more attention if you’re worth their time.

Focus on cultivating a feeling of gratitude for the amazing date & then do what you need to do to set yourself up for more such dates in the future. You can be pretty much head over heels for somebody and still focus on your work and life - it just takes practice. You’ve probably not had a lot of dates like this, so the bar is set a bit higher than it would be normally. It’ll take some time to adjust.

You’ve been talking to a guy for about a month, you’ve kissed and haven’t taken things a step further…. It sounds to me like he’s prioritizing this appropriately & y’all haven’t set ground rules, boundaries or expectations for communication. If you’re feeling this, it might be time to go on that date and have a conversation about where you’d like for this to go next. If he’s responsive, great! Then you can communicate and coordinate past this hurdle. If not & he’s not as willing, move on. This s…

Just ask him out, be it for coffee or drinks, and later invite him back to yours. Enjoy!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
