It's straight up racism and sexism. You are literally basing your decision on race / gender. Why is it allowed? Because the 'right' groups (the ones easily manipulated by political douchebags) are profiting from it. This is all it is. The neuroticism of women is very useful for child rearing. Their nitpicking and worrying about things is important when you consider how vulnerable a baby is.
