Thanks! Yeah, I'm going to try not using it for a while and not coming for a while to see if that helps. The funny thing is, when I'm single, I don't usually masturbate frequently. When I've gone a few weeks without an orgasm, I usually start having them in my sleep with no stimulation whatsoever, so I know it's possible with little to no stimulation.

Yeah, it reminds me of those immigration bans in the US. Just because there are a few bad actors in some countries, let's ban all travelers from those countries just to be "safe".

Honestly, this is one of the most insidious forms of thought policing I've ever heard of, and I'm not sure why reddit allows it. I can see banning an account for a person's behavior within a sub. Say something degrading or against the rules of the sub, then yes, you should be banned. But to preemptively ban you simply for having commented in another sub even when you didn't break any rules? How is that even remotely healthy? It only further divides us.

You know when your girlfriend tells you to slow down when driving or to stop tailgating and control your road rage? How about the women that ban their partners from owning a mororcycle? Or, what about when she tells you not to be confrontational with other men in public? Yeah, that's a woman trying to protect her man. It's just that most of the time, you won't listen to us or will put us down and call us too cautious. Seriously, we're trying to keep you safe. While we don't necessarily have as m…

Yeah, I can use my hand, but it usually takes longer, and I feel embarrassed/guilty about taking too long. I know it's probably a me problem that I need to work on, but I like to come as fast as possible so guys don't get impatient with me.

When you're filtering properly, you don't have that many options. At least I didn't. However, I was looking for a politically moderate/conservative, agnostic/atheist that does cannabis and also wants a traditional marriage/kids. Not too many guys that fit that profile where I live (I live in a super liberal area where most of the moderates/conservatives are religious and don't do pot). Lol.

It's false that women on apps only base swipes on looks. Maybe hookup seekers, but not those looking for a husband. Those that are serious about finding a LTR will do it based on a combination of looks and profile attributes. Those seeking serious relationships also tend to date slightly "down" when it comes to looks because they know that marriages where the woman is more physically attractive than the man tend to be happier, more stable marriages. This is why men should swipe slightly above th…

FarmersOnly is where I'd start. You can use other apps as well, but pay for premium so you can set strict filters. Most charge extra to allow you to filter by religion, politics, relationship goals, etc. I would also recommend bumble purely because of how popular it is. That's the one I had the most luck with. I paid for premium, so it would only show me guys within my criteria. I was able to find my current BF after only a month, and I was looking for a politically moderate agnostic/atheist wit…

How much longer are you going to be long distance for? Do you have a set date that you plan to relocate so that you're not so far away? The reason I ask is that it sounds like your discomfort is coming more from a place of not getting what you want out of this relationship as a whole more so than this one incident with his work. This incident sounds like the straw that broke the camel's back, but (correct me if I'm wrong) it sounds like the distance is the root issue here.

Here's an interesting take: Before your profile gets published, your pictures are rated based on attractiveness by a diverse array of impartial judges. Each user gets an aggregate attractiveness score, and then their profile is only shown to other people with the same or similar attractiveness scores. It would save a lot of time having to swipe left on a ton of people who are way above or way below your "league".

Yeah, if he was serious about you, he would find a way to communicate, and he would be excited to share details of his trip with you. My current BF and I had only been on a couple of dates before, he went out of state for a whole week in the wilderness with spotty reception. He still made an effort and messaged me pictures periodically when he had reception. If a guy is motivated, he will want to communicate. Definitely don't put any of your eggs in this guy's basket until he gives you a reason …

I find it odd that he didn't share his phone number with you. It makes it seem like he has a girlfriend and is trying to keep you secret or something. I can't think of any other reason not to share your cell number with someone you're going on a first date with.

Sometimes, I wonder if the ratio of men to women is the way it is because men with girlfriends are more likely to be on the apps in order to cheat/hookup behind their girlfriend's backs. Someone should do a study on how many men versus women on the apps are actually single, then we'd have a better idea.

Marriage and kids. There's a whole red pill women's sub that's pretty active. More women are reaching thier 30s and realizing that they can't get the healthy marriage and family that they wanted by just having fun and acting however they want because it only attracts sub-standard f*ck boy type men that won't commit. More and more women starting to wake up and realize that you have to act, dress, and present a certain way to attract a marriage minded man.

I both agree and disagree. Most people don't want to move to meet a match. There's a reason they put proximity filters on dating apps. However, I disagree with the statement that you have to be the "best" local option because "best" is so subjective that it's impossible to be best for everyone. When I was on the apps, I swiped left on tons of guys who would have been wonderful options, for other women. The guy I met who ended up becoming my boyfriend probably got swiped left on by a ton of women…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
