I'm not afraid of him. He lulls me into the sense that he's a "good friend," over the few days that it's just him and I, and then he pulls this shit as soon as our other friend shows up. It used to catch me offguard and made me question if I was too sensitive, but now I handle it better when I'm prepared for it. I'll try out what you suggest. A really dismissive "fuck you" attitude.

They might not be. Society is going to shit.

I don't mean to hijack this guy's thread, but I know EXACTLY the kind of fucker he's talking about and wanted to provide specific examples. I have some friends from online games; I practically grew up with them and have known them for years. Sometimes during the summer I'll go and visit them if one guy's parents aren't renting out this beach house they own in SoCal. This guy, I'll call him B, can be a real fucking asshole. I don't understand him at all. I usually arrive a few days before the oth…

I've never regretted not lifting earlier in my life more than I do just now reading this post. :|

Now that you mention it.. I have terrible sleeping habits. I often go on 4 hours of sleep. You make a lot of sense. I feel like I'm overthinking all of this shit and it's just irritating the hell out of me. I just need to be confident in what I'm doing. If test was legal, I'd cycle it for a few months and call it at that. Christ. Thanks for your insight.

Absolutely hilarious how the legal route is much worse for the body than the illegal one. 'muricah Thanks for the suggestion. I might give it a shot after some research, depends on if it'll murder my nuts/liver.

I don't think it's ever a good idea to bulk when you first start training. Because it's your first go around on SS, the weights will be light and your form may need some work, so the extra calories would just go to waste. I could cut on SS until your lift numbers start stalling and won't improve. When you're starting from square one, you can go pretty far on a cut; I know I did. Who knows - you might actually get pretty lean before you stall. Part of me does wish I had been able to finish my ori…

That's pretty much the definition of skinnyfat lol. SS is Starting Strength, a beginner's barbell training program. I have no idea where I'll go on my journey from here, but I highly recommend you start in the same place I did. Starting Strength is great for getting you intimate with squats, deadlifts, and presses in a structured/organized manner. http://startingstrength.wikia.com/wiki/Starting_Strength_Wiki

atm I'm benching BW and squat/dead BW 1.5, so my numbers aren't quite intermediate yet. Continuing on SS until I reach more respectable numbers is definitely an option that does make a lot of sense. I don't think I have it in me to get much smaller. I originally tried to cut to 150 this year, but I just couldn't do it; I felt like I was shrinking. I think I'd be mentally/physically okay with setting a bulk limit of 185 and working with that. oh god, I've spent so many hours reading that I want t…

Those "dudes" in /r/Fitness you talk of, ALL recommend SS pretty much. Also I don't get the "oh, their body builders and/or already ripped, I'm trying to do something different" story. OK, that means you ESPECIALLY should do what they say! SS is definitely for beginners too dude... you can find success pictures of those people too... I think you misunderstood me a little. I was basically trying to say that r/Fitness is full of shit. Christ, anytime I see someone post 1yr progress and look better…

Speaking of terminology, what does the "HB" in "HB8/10" when rating a chick mean? Never got that one.

It doesn't bother you guys if the plate(s) you're considering for LTR are off banging other guys? I've no problem keeping plates as plates for as long as I wish. But when a girl is attractive enough for me to consider her as LTR material, I don't think I can keep her as a plate for long. The thought of her freely fucking whomever eats me, if I have interest in the girl beyond the sex. Of course, the paradox is that even in a LTR she's free to do whatever she wants. I'm not even sure if this is a…

Get on a 3x5/5x5 program, and eat on a -300 caloric deficit every day. Make sure you get enough protein every day. That's all, no need to overthink it.

Sure, PM me the before/after! I think atm I'm just gonna cut down to 150lbs and "slow" bulk from there. I don't wanna be fat again. I think I can tolerate being "small" for a couple of months before I put on some weight. I'm not sure where I'll end my bulk, but that's an entirely different animal. I think if I pull this shit off and I look good a year from now, I might write a fucking book on how to stop being skinnyfat. It's a plague.

[somewhat offtopic] I trust you more than fittit: What do you guys think about starting skinnyfats? Cut, bulk, or eat at maintenance? atm I clock in @ 5'10" 165lbs, but I don't have a good BF%. Probably upper teens if not 20%. Should I lean down to 150lbs before starting a slow bulk? Has anyone got any before/after pictures of going from skinnyfat to jacked? I've been lifting for 2 months and enjoying my noobgains, but pretty soon I'm going to have to decide between cut or bulk.
