UGH were we dating the same person?? LOL! I had a super stressful job at the time AND was fighting an underactive thyroid and out of balance vitamin levels. I used to say he loved nothing more then make sure I didnt sleep. When we would have fights, he would purposely bang shit around to make noise.

My ex who I stupidly moved in with, ate junk food EVERY single meal of every day. Everything was either fast food or super rich fatty drenched in butter or fried. He smoked almost a pack a day, and never exercised and surprise surprise had ED and it would take him an hour to have a fucking orgasm. He also rarely slept and eventually his hygiene got. bad. I guess before he met me, he was over 300 lbs and lost a bunch of weight. He apparently lost it and For whatever reason he still looked really …

UGH same with my ex. I was physically exhausted ALL THE TIME and he gave ZERO fucks. This was the main thing we fought about.

Im in my 40s now. Never married. Dated through all my 30s and 20s. I knew very early on I had no desire to get married. SO I didnt. I was single mom and I was 100% ok with that. Honestly if there is one thing I learned in my 30s (and honestly I felt I was late to realize this) was if the sex is bad (aside from sometimes first time awkwardness figuring it out) end it early on. Its either one of two things, they suck in bed due to too much porn, etc OR theres just no chemistry. I just decided that…

I have always wondered if my LVM ex had ED due to porn usage. He could never get it all the way up and keep it hard throughout and wanted sex ALL THE TIME and as a result it was like an hour long fuck session which was fucking exhausting. He was also super secretive about his phone. Kept it in a holder face down, never looked at it infront of me. The ONE fight we had was because he had a photo from a girl he is friends with face book profile as his last picture. Meaning he saved it while we were…

GIRL first of all congratulations! I am also in this journey. I posted here a while back about kicking my ex out.. well for a while I crashed at my parents house (which is sitting empty right now as they are in another state because of covid) and long story short, I now live in a GOREGOUS loft apartment in a great building with its own music room (Im a music producer and DJ), performance room, roof deck overlooking the city, sky high ceilings, poured concrete floors and windows that are almost f…

Or bathe at least once a day. I didnt realize until after I moved in with my ex that he bathed only a couple days a week. He generally didnt smell. He would just layer on deodorant and cologne. Fucking disgusting. Can you imagine if you didnt bathe regularly and wore the same underwear every day what a man would be saying about you?

THIS. This articulates perfectly how it all felt to me when it happened to me. Who wants to be with someone whos entire happiness is YOU? What a huge responsibility that is. Once a week to me is actually perfect. Maybe twice a week. More then that I start to feel suffocated and freaked out. This guy would NEVER listen to me when I told him I needed space and would weasel his way to seeing me. "Hey I picked up ____ that you needed Ill bring it by" "hey so Im going to see you tomorrow? (then inser…

UGH this sounds horrible! When you are in the throws of something like this it does feel helpless. We are conditioned as women to work through these kinds of problems no matter what and de programing that takes an immense amount of strength. Good for you for getting out of there and for backing up his daughters mom!

Its totally a weakness for many of us. I put up with a LOT of shit because my ex was from here and could throw down a gumbo, etoufee and Maque Choux better then Ive had at ANY restaurant. I still miss it from time to time.

HOLY shit I just read your previous post. GOOD FOR YOU. You deserve SO much more. Everything this man has right now is because of you. Be sure to block him and do NOT give him a chance to beg and plead. He has showed you who he really is and has done enough. This is so inspiring. Enjoy your trip to Spain to celebrate your new life!

My best friend and I do this for eachothers birthdays. Its the best. My last ex got pretty jealous about it because our dates were actually so much better then any date he ever took me on.

The abusive ones are the hardest to leave. Its weird how that works. Ive dumped guys in the past for the stupidest crap but I tolerated so much emotional abuse with this one. It is the hardest thing you have ever done but you will never take for granted your happiness from now on and that is a HUGE blessing! These abusers know how to chop away at self esteem and self worth and they do that because they KNOW you are worth so much more! You got this.

Why do men continually tell themselves we want their penis as much as they want our vaginas?? As if some scrote banging a doll instead of me is supposed to hurt my feelings? LMFAOOOOO Boy bye.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/09/20 06:28 PM

Definitely. People keep telling me that "eventually I will meet the right person" but as cheesy at this sounds, I am the right person. I can support myself, I can make my life the way that I want it without having to sacrifice any part of my happiness for a man. Why bother? For sex? I dont even want sex. Im still so thoroughly grossed out from all the times I let him have sex with me when it was clear I didnt want to that I just dont see myself having or wanting sex any time soon.

I am in the process of breaking up from a cohabitation relationship for the first time and the last time in my life. I will NEVER live with a man again. Whats the point? I can afford my own place, decorate it with my shit, and I dont have to give exhausting mental energy to a dude during my down time after work. Its fucking great. Living with men is a trap. Trust me on this. No thank you.

What a psycho. Who does this? Also I have learned that my long term happy relationships were that way when I only saw them 3 days a week TOPS (I feel like 3 days is a lot). I need my space to keep my sanity. The minute someone tries to smother me, I get resentful and it fucks up the relationship.

This is very true. As bad as white women have it black women have it way worse. They also face less protection from abuse. When he said my daughter (she is 22) was crying was white woman tears because he was being a dick and she was frustrated, and she’s not even white- I realized he didn’t even realize what the fuck that phrase actually means. Because there is problematic issue of white women crying to achieve sympathy from the “scary” black man or the scary black Woman. Which has in the past g…

In my state you can’t just call the police and have someone removed. You have to go through evictions proceedings which involves serving him with a two week notice to vacate. Right now it doesn’t seem worth it to me to deal with that.

Being able to take the lessons from each relationship almost makes it worth it. There are people that just do that stupid shit over and over and over to multiple partners until they get one who is wise enough to not tolerate it.

Yes. I am 42 years old. I had my daughter very young - I was in high school. I raised her alone. She is a strong independent adult. When I meet men who are not as strong and independent as the child i raised, it puts a lot into perspective. I only recently lived with a man for the first time and it reaffirms my decision to not marry. Whats the point? Everything I want I can get for myself. If I want sex, I can get it. Most men I meet arent as ambitious as I am and Ive already raised a human- Im …

OMG I used to do the same thing wanting to prove how independent I was. Only THEN I ended up in relationships where I was always taking us out to eat because I would pull my card first. To make it worse, a few of the guys I dated would order HUGE meals knowing I was about to pay. Cringe. F that. NEVER again. When the bill comes do nothing.

First of all that to me IS a huge red flag. I dont necessarily think hes a pedophile but I think society has definitely pushed the hairless female body onto us. It is also a sign of a dude who watches a lot of porn. I feel bad for any dude who thinks Im going to shave myself bald for him. My ex had the nerve to tell me once he likes clean shaved legs and underarms and low cut pubic hair. Meanwhile his ass bathed ONCE a week. SMH

It is revolting. I did install a bidet in our apt though I KNOW he never used it. We also live in the south where it is HOT as fuck. I shower MINIMUM once a day but usually twice a day. AND he had the nerve to press me for sex and get all butthurt if I said no.

I found out after my boyfriend and I started living together that he was showering MAYBE once a week. Fucking disgusting. One of the many fun things I encountered during THAT adventure.

Exactly. Young kids are one thing. ADULT kids who also have other needs are an entirely different thing. Super exhausting. Being a single mom was a walk in the park compared to having to mommy a grown assed man and teach him how to act like a grown up. Fuck that. Never again.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/06/20 03:18 PM
3

I was a single mom- daughter is an adult now, and after she became an adult I moved in with a man who sounds similar to this and TRUST ME single moms do NOT have it fucking worse. When I was a single mom I had me and my kid. Thats it. Not a grown ass adult kid. My kid is also super independent now and takes care of herself. If you wanted more kids you would have had them.

OMG I needed to read this today. I am 42 and ending a one year relationship with someone who almost fit this description exactly except he wants sex all the time. YOU my friend are an inspiration.
