I just told you to observe things that are happening offline and your response is "but online, this is what I've seen so that's enough evidence for me".

There are many points to it but if you want to look at it from an evolutionary standpoint, it could be said that maintaining a single relationship ensures the survival of your genes. If the man is committed to one woman, he can spend all of his resources on protecting and caring for the woman and their children. Caveman brain would more likely be willing to protect and care for their own children, thus ensuring their own genes are passed on. If a woman is committed to one man, he can be sure tha…

Did you expect me to compile a list for you? I specified that I was speaking about the U.S. and you then acknowledged that this is a problem in the U.S. So which part did you call bullshit on? The part where you agreed with me? You sound dehydrated. Go sip some water.

Yeah. It's almost as if there are multiple factors that all play a role in forming a society and their norms, unique to each location.

Yeah. That's why I said "in my experience".

Yeah. It absolutely has veen ingrained (at least in U.S. culture) for women to be polite, always, no matter what the other person is doing or saying. Not too long ago, most women didn't have a choice but to be a homemaker. They had little if any access to their own money, own banking account, own home. They were entirely reliant upon their husband. So saying no, having boundaries, speaking up weren't luxuries afforded to all of our mothers, grandmothers, etc. That type of "sit still and look pre…

Are you hanging out with adults? From my experience, both men and women are able to function fine in both regards. I can't think of a single friend of mine who can't tell if someone is uncomfortable and can't say no to something.

I was casually seeing someone else and also talking to a few people when we first met. Within the first 24 hours, I cut off everyone. No one else mattered once I knew my partner existed. I don't think that's average though.

A great analogy!

If the prostitute is of legal age, doing it of their own free will and they are using protection, I can't say I would try to shame someone out of it. Like, say, a friend. Would I feel comfortable being in a relationship with someone who use to frequent sex workers? No. And I know this because I did date a guy that did what you do. Aside from the dubious nature of the whole business (so much opportunity for the worker to be trafficked, abused, underage) and the health risks (condoms can only do s…

I feel like this is one of the reasons it's becoming so difficult for people in my age group (30's) and younger to find a partner. Alot of people are simply pleasure focused, not partnership focused. It's so strange to me that I actually have to explain to people I'm interested in that I want to be in a relationship beforI have sex with them. Like, I really sound extreme to some people when I explain it.

An abortion is NOT an easy choice for a lot of women. For some, it is flat out not an option. I wonder if you're going to ask why some men abandon their child and refuse to raise it next. Or, is the problem of a single mother household solely on the mother?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
