Additionally, I'd wager that their beliefs about rape are framed in the first person, just like yours. I would say men aren't raped in the way that women are, in most imaginable scenarios involving a man and woman. Rape involves penetration. Psychologically, the trauma may be similar in some ways. Firstly, not all sex involves women and men, let alone penetration. Women who have sex with women still require consent from each other, as do men who have sex with men, regardless of penetration. Secondly, it sounds to me by the phrasing of the title that you haven't had a lot of non-missionary sex where the woman takes control of the situation. She's saying that even though her faux pas was interrupted by Gossling, she isn't helpless. My friends have saved me countless times from falling over myself, and once when I had a seizure.
