I say again - if you have a better source, or one proving that the UN estimate is fundamentally inaccurate, post it. I'm sure it depends on how you look at it, but I really can't think of any country where it is illegal for men to drive or uncover any part of their body, where men regularly get sold off as a second, third or fourth spouse to be repeatedly raped at the age of 11 or 12, where men are shot at or bombed for attending school because of their sex, or where men have to give birth to their rapist's baby and/or die during childbirth in filthy conditions without adequate medical care. Yes, women are doing reasonably well in most Western countries, but I think it's important not to forget that women are still vastly disadvantaged in most 3rd world countries. When people are out there yelling about women's rights, that's often a large part of it. Statistics like women owning only 1% of the world's property and receiving 10% of the world's income (despite doing 66% of the work) are, frankly, still a concern. There are many different types of feminism, some of which are crazy but most of which are generally benign and in favor of equality for everyone but usually focused on what has been very real historical inequality for women. Don't lump it all into one basket. All I'm saying is that if you make such assumptions about all of feminism (or women) without questioning its fairness, don't be surprised when people do it to you. I'm sorry you got shat on by jerks and/or society, naturally I'd prefer good experiences and actual equality for everyone, but try not to generalise all of us and large swathes of the civil rights movement based on a few bad experiences.
