I never implied that looks are only natural. Being fit, hair style, fashion are all part of the looks of a person. Most people can improve their looks a decent amount. Having personality is good, but my point was for most quick approaches failing, looks are the primary cause of failure. I assure you most men asking for advice fail on the looks department, not personality.

It's looks, the way you approach has very little impact compared to your looks. I'm not saying it's wrong that women prioritise this, but it is the most likely reason for their lack of success.

and would you elaborate why is the comparison "dumb as fuck"?

"Every time I see a person complaining about their crappy luck on job searching platforms I feel like I lose 10 years of my life. It's a well known fact that there are 5x as many job seekers on these platforms as there are jobs. Every time someone signs up for these, they are widening that gap. The blame consistently gets hoisted onto employers for a problem that job seekers are relentlessly and knowingly perpetuating"

Bahahhahah immaculate, just immaculate ragebait. It's not an opinion if three people agree on it surely.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 10:33 PM

😭😭 son what? I didn't bring up pursuing at all, ur the one who brought it up lol. whatever bro
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:13 AM

No the employers can be pursuers as well. Top candidate(i.e. top men) get offered jobs and interviews without having to do anything by seeking employers. So no the pursuer/pursuee are interchangeable in both dating and job markets, thus that counter doesn't work. Also you talk about men creating the dynamic, same cane be said about the job market. Employees create the competitive environment by themselves by assuming the role of seeking for jobs. I'm not really sure what the rest of your comment…

Who says searching for employment is a bad process? Maybe you view employers too harshly? Do you not have a positive relation with your employer and not like ur job? You are free to not view through this lens if it makes you uncomfortable, I'm just drawing parallels. And like you said people hate the job searching process and so do they hate the dating process. Hell this entire sub is dedicated to woes regarding that. No need to draw unnecessary conclusions about my views on the opposite sex by …

mhm makes sense, basically it's that relationships are transactional, some more than others, and if it's unfairly tilted to one side we feel that one party is exploiting the other. But then I think about stuff like sex workers. Are people employing sex workers bad too? This arrangement just seems a less formal version of that. And ig many people do think that, and if every person using a service is bad, doesn't it mean that the provider is bad too? Also, I don't get op's point about outlawing it…

at what point do you consider it sub livable? Do you think there's some quantifiable threshold for this? And if you do isn't that completely subjective then? I do believe passport bros are exploiting women, but I can't rationalize it logically, without mentioning an arbitrary subjective gap. And then you also have to extend it to other stuff like should we admonish men who date women much poorer than them in the same country? How do you determine whether it's "true love" or not? The main issue t…

Then if we consider the fact that the dating market in the west is skewed towards women, are most men not consenting, and therefore most women predatory?

hmm yeah you make a solid point, though it feels more like the laws that are preventing free market behaviours. And this is in both directions ig with land laws and marriage laws. But yeah ur right there is a vast difference in necessity of a job vs relationship and the consequences due to the lack of one. The major difference point imo is that we are in near free dating market and kind of restricted job market.

hmm arranged marriage pill seems more like it. Also has parallels to how the relationship can be harmful to the people involved, mostly to the woman/company

Doesn't this apply to both? There are plenty of companies who aren't hiring anymore/self owned businesses that don't want employees, just as there are women who wish to be single.

Money isn't only obtained from jobs though? The soul searching could be replaced with starting ur own business, and you become self-employed. Now if you say but not everyone wants to be self employed, it's equivalent to the fact that not everyone wants to be single. Relationships being hoarded is where the hypergamy theories come into play tho. Like the billionaires are the top % of men. But yeah u do have a point in the fact that it's not as immediate of a necessity as a job for most people, an…

I mean yeah HR is the subset of the company that engages with the job market so in a way you could substitute hr instead. For black pill yeah looks do affect professional success a lot, but since its focus is on genetics being supreme I took intelligence instead because you can rationalize why being intelligent is good for being an employee akin to how being good looking is good for a relationship.

well when you take into account the fact that 63% of young men and single compared to 31% of women, it stands to reason that this problem disproportionately affects men. Unless u believe men are worse than women, in which case touche ig. And women who are in similar situation vent similarly (see r/trueuglywomen), it's just a difference in numbers. And some people choosing to call themselves incels doesn't mean it's ok for you to call them that. Plenty of women call themselves sluts. Do you also …

You don't think there are guys single because of things out of their control? Also the point is it's very very socially normalised to call men incels as an insult. You could call any person an incel in a news article and be fine. You would be crucified if you start calling women those words in the same avenues.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 11:49 PM

It's exactly like when corporations say there's no one to hire, while unemployment reaches unseen levels. Their criteria are too high for the wages they offer. So when someone that skilled does end up taking that job, they are not serious about it at all, and coast through not working. These people have other offers lining up and they can leave at a moments notice for a better job. Are there useless bums complaining about being unemployed? yeah. Are there companies that have reasonable requireme…

Eh I mean sometimes it's not necessarily transphobia. Some men just want their own children, and even if they don't mind them being trans, they can't seriously entertain a long term relationship with them. This is also the case with bi people who want their own biological children. While they are still attracted to their gender, they can't fulfill their desire and so end up in ltrs with the opposite gender. Trans people are right to complain tho, they do get the short end of stick, as with any c…
