How is anything of this your fault? She never told you she had a husband. I’d stop talk with her just due to her lack of honesty.

Great post. I also believe in therapy and the lens it provides to analyze information presented online.

Does that make the incel Alpha if they’re more happier than the Alpha? I want to write a book about society’s fascination with the term Alpha and an individual’s willingness to apply it to themselves. Behavior is so much more nuanced than binary ideals.

Double agree. I personally believe dating app usage has decreased among women as more men have learned approach skills in real life. Any bar I go to I see more guys than ever before applying skills they’ve learned from friends or the community.

I would say be careful with negging as it could potentially develop into a habit that carries over into conversations with family, friends, coworkers, and civilians, leading to barriers placed around you.

It’s called harassment and he needs to know he’s protected by the state. Give him credit for drawing attention to this and not retreating into silence. We should avoid victim blaming and instead encourage him to continue building his voice, so that he may take appropriate steps in discussing this with his supervisor or company HR. Knowing what rights he has is how he’ll grow into a solid professional rather than falling into the loop that his coworkers failed to grow out of. No one is telling hi…

Have you expressed interest in what other people do as an extra curricular activity or personal hobby and see if that’s something you might be interested in doing too? I think this is a good start.

Try to speak kindly and softly. Allow yourself to stumble and stammer and say the wrong things until you get better at it and develop a brand you’re satisfied with.

It didn’t really. To be honest, I don’t retain very much of what I read. But experiences, that’s the bread and butter.

I guess we’d have to start with what you think it means to be naive and where did you learn this perspective from.

Sounds like you want it to be effective. Go find out. If you’re searching reddit forums for the one advice that will fix you, congratulations. You’ve found it. This may never happen again, use your time wisely. May the force be with you. Always.

Sure. Achieving certainly, but taking seriously what you’re doing, even if it hasn’t reached its potential, yet, garners respect. And less people will hate you if you express the value you find in their opinions and offer inclusion. Avoid me vs them when trying to build something.

Tough question. Simple answer, think about the task and work at hand and ask questions about how to fulfill its potential. If you’re comfortable with the guidance provided, track improvement and discuss them with your boss. If he’s invested, his attitude will change. If not, it’s never been about the work and it’s probably best seeking employment somewhere else.

Be aware of what you’re feeling and talk it out with a professional at some point. You’ll want to view these experiences with a studied knowledge base, so that they don’t impact you later in life. That said, you’ll always love your dad. It’s always nice to tell him the reasons why you appreciate him, your own authentic reasons, not the ones he just wants to hear. Then share what you appreciate about others and the world around you. He probably wants more inclusion.

Ha. Not in a real work space environment. We call this BDS. Big Dick Syndrome. It creates isolation for the individual.

What’s wrong with you right now? Or rather, what’s good about you that you’re not seeing? Not seeing may be why you feel this way.

To be honest, I recommend talking it out with a therapist. I wish I told myself that 20 years ago. Best advice I can give.

Talk to everyone or as many people as you can, whatever gender, shape and size. The universe will then present a hot girl to you at the right moment, unexpectedly, perfectly. Truth.

I recommend therapy to start. Doors open from there.

There’s a great book titled Lone Survivor about who lives and who dies in survival situations and why. The survivor isn’t the typical person you may think, and in fact it may challenge the perception of physical strength as a main attribute — ie, the Rambo types are the first to go. Highly recommend.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
