How do you guys hold yourselves together when you are just empty? Job needs you now, wife needs you now, kids need you now. Everything needs you and you have to give it. You want to give it. To be the provider and protector. To work the incredibly long hours and multiple full time jobs to keep the family provided for. How do you keep from losing yourself in the process though? When everything you used to enjoy becomes gray and all that you do is exist from moment to moment?

I get you. As the poster above said though, sometimes it's just nice to get your thoughts out in a place where you aren't going to be judged or talked over. It doesn't compare to having brothers in real life that can walk beside you and help shoulder the mountain we all carry, but knowing that you aren't alone can have value. Just found this group tonight. I'm tired gents. I'm a husband and father, but it feels like I'm on autopilot most of the time. I love my family. I love being their rock and being needed. But with the economy how it is now I average 90 to 105 hours a week of work and feel like I've lost myself. Every day is more of the same.
