Both should be fine, given moderation. Porn consumption is fine, as long as it’s not effecting your sex/relationship life. Bikini pics are fine too if posted in an organic context.

I think for a lot of people, it’s just about learning social skills. Becoming physically attractive is also an important step. But game really does make a difference. I’ve seen great looking guys who constantly fumble or get in their own way and non-conventionally looking dudes who consistently bat above average. Everyone could use a bit of self-improvement.

As to your first point - of course it was coercive - there were severe social penalties, more so on women then men for divorce. One, women didn’t have the financial independence as much as men and two, because let’s be real, society back then cared way less that a man was divorced than a women is. The reality is that we’re returning to a more natural mean. When divorce rates were low, it was largely through coercive factors - not because the marriages were better or people were any more happy. Arguably many of the women were less happy given the lack of personal autonomy or the ability to even open a bank account. This isn’t some white knight horseshit, it’s just a historical perspective.

Because they’re sex-positive and because they’re less judged for engaging in casual sex, they’re more free to do what they want (which is to hook-up once in a while). This is why guys who shame girls for promiscuity are the absolute worst - they’re just ruining the fun for everyone, both men and women.

Idk man, maybe we just attract different types. When I’m single I hook-up a bunch or set up fwb situation, in both cases, they usually are single. Maybe it’s a city/regional/age disparity? Where I live, it’s pretty common for people my age to play the single life.

So basically pick-up, which you could get here without all the negativity. And to claim that hypergamy is a fundamental and natural part of the female mind seems like pseudo-science. It's all cultural. Also, it seems to me that the sexual market is something to avoid if you get a partner. Commodifying sex in your personal life sounds very unhealthy.

It makes plenty of sense. Through words demonstrate interest but emotionally demonstrate that this interest isn't above hers and thus not subject to her power. High sexual energy makes you come off as confident, sexually desirable, and able to have fun in most situations, once again, a subtle power move to show that you are firmly in control of your own situation.
