Has anyone else given up after discovering trp?I think the biggest factor, at least in the western world, is people marry for love and not simply for as simple a transaction/ devotion as a lot of cultures do - where they make the best out of their marriage and accept it’s not a fairytale and compromise in all aspects is necessary. This is realistically why a lot of divorce happens - people, often the woman, aren’t as happy, they’re bored as they’ve been with their spouse a long time, they’ve grown apart etc. a lot of it stems from people not… | /r/TheRedPill | 14/03/24 12:24 PM
Has anyone else given up after discovering trp?I mean fair to a point but I’ll also add equally a lot of men aren’t bringing anything to the table women don’t. In the UK it’s extremely rare a man is the sole breadwinner and housewives are very rare so men are providing often less to the table if they aren’t also paying bills/ doing housework/ cleaning etc. Everyone has to have some personal accountability for their choices of course but again, not every woman dates “bad boys” or idiots. Of course those who continually date losers with obviou… | /r/TheRedPill | 13/03/24 08:27 PM
Has anyone else given up after discovering trp?I actually agree with all of this! Women have a lot more options - I do think the casual sex culture has made things a lot worse for both genders as have dating apps which start making people treat others as disposable and one fish in a whole ocean. I might be in the minority in fairness having wanted a long term relationship since I was a teenager and I did meet my partner at 21 and we are due to get married fairly soon. I will add though that not all women are superficial and whilst a study ma… | /r/TheRedPill | 13/03/24 08:17 PM
Has anyone else given up after discovering trp?I really rate this reply and it’s also true - listening to or absorbing too much from social media definitely skews your opinions on how many people might be experiencing something. Algorithms are designed to target what you like or relate to so it makes sense you almost get confirmation bias of views you have | /r/TheRedPill | 13/03/24 07:46 PM
Has anyone else given up after discovering trp?As a woman I’d like to contribute to this discussion. I’m not going to dispute your take at all because I actually agree with it. I think in straight relationships there is a certain level of strength, particularly emotionally women seek from men. I’ll hold my hands up and say I do too (to an extent). Women tend to be more emotional - likely in part down to hormones related to the period cycle but also because we’re used to being very open about our emotions and talking deeply with friends and t… | /r/TheRedPill | 13/03/24 07:44 PM
Has anyone else given up after discovering trp? It’s ironic you say that as from a woman’s perspective it often seems men are only interested / have real love for us when we are slim, constantly fighting off ageing and trying to look young, cooking for them, cleaning, doing more of the childcare and don’t nag “too much”. Equally, there are a LOT of men who leave their wife or cheat if she gets cancer because we obviously don’t look so good in treatment / takes a toll on the intimacy and relationship. I think reality is there’s good men and go… | /r/TheRedPill | 13/03/24 07:35 PM
