Alison Tieman summarizes very well in this video why the concept of the patriarchy is problematic. https://youtu.be/hipo2byrQAM?feature=shared

I hope that you don't get sexually harassed. You will eat your inconsiderate words. I left this community months ago because of the sociopathy involved, so I'm not interested in proving anything to you here. What you are asking is like asking someone who can see to prove to a blind person the existence of colours. It is a nonsense. If you can't distinguish victimism from real victimhood that means that you are a sociopath and what you need is psychiatric treatment, not arguing with some random d…

That is darwinism. I reject the darwinian ideology as pseudoscience. I don't believe that we are programmed machines. As a person who can feel love, I know that it is not an illusion.

I hate the word "social skills". Humans are born with the ability to relate to others. It shouldn't be a "skill".

It is not my definition of love, no more than it is a person with a functional ear talking about musical notes. Love is not sex. Love is not hormones. If I have to explain that to you, you have mental problems. Any mentally healthy human being knows what love is. It is not about definitions. Love is what it is. Either you can feel it or you are deaf to it. Women are not slaves of estrogen. Men are not slaves to testosterone. We are not machines.

I got played by toxic women and I learned from that. I learned to spot their red flags and not fall for them. Estrogen doesn't have anything to do with love. We are not machines. Feelings like love can't be explained by hormones only. If you think that way you don't know what love is and you should visit a psychologist. Maybe you have a cluster B personality disorder. Both healthy men and women can feel love. It is not a female thing. You can inject all the estrogens you want. If you are a socio…

You totally miss my point. I said that love is about compatibilities. If a girl is compatible with you, you don't need to do anything special. She will like you. And you will like her too, even if she has things that others don't like. Improving yourself is good, of course, as long as you don't try to be what you are not and you don't become a slave of narcissistic women desires. I improve myself for health and well-being, never to please nobody. True love is not a business transaction. Your cor…

I didn't talk about chasing others. I said searching. My point is to not give yourself to cynicism and misogyny, like the feminists did with men, and have hope. There are still good women out there.
/r/MensRights05/06/24 09:51 PM

Women can change up by the second. Oh, absolutely, mentally disordered women, of course. Not the sane ones. Also burdensome on her for you to rely on her to make you happy. You don't know what love is about, do you? You shouldn't be relying on her to feel fulfilled whatsoever. Healthy human beings with empathy and the need of healthy relationships need people. We are made that way. You can deny it all you want but it is human nature.
/r/MensRights05/06/24 08:49 PM
1

That doesn't make sense. It is a false dilemma. Why should I choose between those two options? Why can't I do both things at the same time? Level yourself up and you'll attract more women naturally. You will always attract the right kind of woman if you are yourself. Love relationships are about compatibilities.

But to me, as a heterosexual man, the need of a girlfriend is way stronger than the need of male friends.

That maybe your case, not mine. I'm lonely because I can't find my female counterpart in this crazy culture of narcissistic women. But I don't give up hope. There are still nice, kind-hearted women.

If you can't feel love that is not "mature", it is a disorder. It is like a deaf dude saying that "sound doesn't exist". If you find someone who truly cares about you, cherish them. Otherwise, it's better to be alone. This is my point. Keep searching and discarding thr crap. The moment you give up to cynicism it is the end. And I see a lot of cynical dudes in this Subreddit, who maybe don't believe in love because they can't feel it and they conflate it with just sexual attraction.

Other men wouldn't fulfill my needs of a female soulmate.
/r/MensRights05/06/24 03:46 PM

That question is very simple to answer: keep searching for your female soulmate. Due to today's conditions, with so many narcissistic and sociopathic girls around, sometimes it gets discouraging, but empathy and lack of it are easy to recognize. Always test their empathy. There is hope. Don't be like the feminists. We need women. We need their love. We need to love them too. Reclaim love, reclaim empathy, reclaim sanity.

I don't know why so many people assume that we "evolved" when there is not a single proof. Stay away from those darwinian sociopathic ideas, guys. Protect your mental sanity. Reclaim love. Life is not only "competition".

I don't know man, I like cute women. Look into the hunter-gatherers vs farmers hypothesis. I think that it is right. I'm a hunter-gatherer type. I like nature, animals, plants, cute things, etc. So I feel attracted to the same type of women. I see dominance as a bad thing, even though it is normalized in this anti-natural modern culture (or pretty toxic ancient cultures such as the Roman Empire).
/r/MensRights04/06/24 08:39 PM

I'm not dominant and I was very popular in Japan among girls. In Asia, there are many girls who hate dominant men and love cute, timid guys.
/r/MensRights04/06/24 07:23 PM

I have known plenty of women who love timid, hesitant men. They see them as cute. Not all the world is like the USA. The sample of this study, as usually happens, is biased. In another culture the results would be very different. When I was living in Spain many girls viewed me as boring because I was timid. When I went to Japan and studied in a Japanese language academy there were many girls from Asian countries such as South Korea, China, Taiwan... They liked me very much because they liked cut…

I don't know man. I like women seeing me as cute and sometimes leading things. Don't conflate the Western modern world with humanity. For example, in Japan there are many women who like cute, timid men. They like being like a protective mother to them. Pretty lovely, isn't it?

If a woman wants a dominant man, who dominates? Good point. Don't forget that through history slaves were always physically strong and brutish to please their masters. Spartacus comes to my mind. That is where the fetish comes from. Another study biased by the sample. In healthier cultures the results would be very different. Healthy people are not dominant. The desire to dominate comes from fear. I love to break those stereotypes and show my cute side to women. The ones who love that are the on…

It is quite interesting how much you insist on making me doubt my own perceptions of reality (gaslighting). I don't care if someone is a stranger. I know the traits and the behaviours typical of cluster B personality disorders. I have read a lot about the topic. You don't need to have a degree in psychology to recognize those. It is in fact pretty easy once you have the knowledge.
/r/MensRights30/05/24 10:51 AM
2

I think that cluster B traits are crystal clear to recognize if one has studied about them. Definitely, there are proofs of people having those. It is not diagnosis because those are mental disorders, not illnesses. And specially if you are calling out behaviours it is not a diagnosis. If you say that someone is incurring in narcissistic abuse and point the exact tactic, for example, gaslighting, it is not a diagnosis.
/r/MensRights30/05/24 01:24 AM
2

Excuse me, but gaslighting, triangulating, etc., are well-known tactics of psychological abuse. If a person does that very often it is a proof that he/she has a cluster B personality disorder. Your comment sounds like gaslighting. It seems intended to make people doubt. But as I don't need a doctor to tell me if I have a sore throat I don't need a psychologist to tell me that a person is a dysfunctional individual when the traits are there. People need to learn to differentiate between normal, h…
/r/MensRights30/05/24 01:20 AM

Pointing dysfunctional behaviours is not diagnosing. Joshua, from the podcast "Disaffected" has a whole episode dedicated to that topic. https://youtu.be/wluxGim9V1s?feature=shared We need to point at dysfunctional behaviours in order to stop them. We don't need to be experts to recognize those. I don't know if the woman of the above comments is a narcissist but what she is doing is clearly narcissistic abuse. And people need to realize that.
/r/MensRights30/05/24 01:14 AM

Healthy individuals have an identity from birth. It is narcissistic individuals who don't have it. That is basic psychology. I don't follow any political ideology. If you are against being left alone offer yourself as a slave in the proper environment for that. Get older men to force you to do things you hate by yelling at you. You don't want to be left alone, right? Start following your ideology with your example.
/r/MensRights27/05/24 12:41 PM

I have already an identity. I was born with it. I don't need a nationalistic cult to create a fake identity.

It is people like you who ruin "the West". If you like being shouted by older men so much why don't you just do it yourself? I highly doubt that you are going to become stronger just by that, though. You talk about men as if we were domestic animals. We are not. I don't need a stupid conservative old guy shouting stupidities at me to become "stronger". I'm not a masochist.

I'll agree with you that it's nowhere near what it is in the West. Not even close. That is what I'm saying. My point is that feminism is cultural contamination. I live in Spain now, the country I was born in, and I miss Japan in that regard. Feminism here is rampant. In Japan you could still find non-contaminated women. But to say that Asia has been immune from feminism I haven't said that. I want people here to stop hating women and differentiate women from feminism. Feminism has contaminated a…

Definitely, that is an influence of Western modern feminism but still many Japanese women haven't bought into that. Japan has still a strong resistance against feminism. I live now in Spain and in comparison Japan is better in that regard.

"Herbivore men" are due to complex socioeconomical problems, not feminism. Where did I say that I'm the only person who spent time in Asia? What I'm saying is that the world is not only USA and Europe.

I'll take the downvotes. I'd rather be honest than popular. Yeah. I'm used to being unpopular because I'm gifted and I always see things people don't want to see. Those guys are conflating feminism with women, which ironically is one of the fallacies of the ideology. How many times have we heard "if you are against feminism you are against women"? I lived in Japan 9 years and there most women ignore feminism. Those guys need to come out of their narrow environment and see more world.

I don't care about reality. I care about truth. Men and women are not made to be enemies. If we are to destroy feminism we need to reject their narrative with fury and determination. Of course, that doesn't mean that you should be kind to toxic women or allow them to abuse you. I'm talking about differentiating feminism from female nature. If a girl is not a feminist, if she isn't toxic, I don't know why I should be mean to her and put my rights before hers. That would be the same mental weaknes…

You are not getting it. I'm not talking of being a male feminist or chivalrous. I'm talking about shared problems. Women and men have been brainwashed for too long to think that our goals are confronted. They are not. We are made to work together. We are complementaries, not enemies. Of course, many women now are toxic. I won't be nice to those but I don't see all women as the enemy. I don't put my rights before theirs. You can't put healthy boundaries if you are disarmed by the whole culture. Confronting a woman these days is like facing an armed samurai with your bare hands. It is an asymmetrical battle. It is not that easy. Of course, I always try to protect my boundaries but they (women) have the upper hand. I'm going to be always seen as the bad guy and her as the victim by the brainwashed majority. Cultural changes are needed.
/r/MensRights06/05/24 02:04 AM

The problem is that in this culture women are encouraged to be narcissistic and egoistical. They are protected from all criticism by feminism. We live in a culture in which men take all the blame and women are spoiled. You are missing the point.

Yes, in this modern culture female narcissism, and in the worst cases sociopathy, are rampant. But I don't see that as an innate feminine trait as some folks here seem to imply. I see it as a cultural intoxication. In fact, in the 80's I don't recall so many women like that. It has gotten worse over time. It is very different to interpret that as an innate feminine trait from interpreting it as something pathological that can be fixed. The former leads to misogyny (a dead end), the later leads t…

That is a narcissist mindset. Non-narcissistic women aren't like that. Talking about all women as being narcissists is doing the same as what the feminists do with men. It is a mistake.

Are you saying that 95% of women in Spain are feminist? Yes, that is what I'm saying.
/r/MensRights19/04/24 04:53 PM

That maybe right in countries like Japan, but in the West feminism is a widespread cult. The media brainwashing is constant and very few women have the courage to reject the bullshit. Because feminism is tempting and elevates their egos.
/r/MensRights19/04/24 01:55 PM

No, in Spain for example, feminism is blatant. I did the test on chats to ask women if they were feminists. 95% of them were, and they were also very misandric. They are constantly being brainwashed by the media. I have no problems with recognizing my faults and fixing them if necessary. But I won't take the blame of something that is not my fault. And most women being nasty towards men because they haven't had the courage to confront the brainwashing is not my fault, it is theirs. The only thin…

If you propose to avoid to tell women your vulnerabilities and go to tell them to other men you are implying that you can substitute women with men in that regard. They’re better as it’s not a burden to your friends or others. You may for that privilege to open up and vent. That is like saying that a prostitute is better than a girlfriend. You have to pay to a psychologist to get yourself heard. It is humiliating. I prefer surrounding myself of people who truly care. And if I can't find them I prefer loneliness instead of paying to just talk about my problems with a random person.
/r/MensRights15/04/24 11:19 PM

I see it the opposite. If you show your vulnerabilities to a woman and she despises you, congratulations. You have unmasked a narcissist/sociopath. This is not a war between men and women. The antidote to feminism is true, healthy love between men and women, not forming male only fraternities and hating all women. That is falling in the same trap as feminism.
/r/MensRights15/04/24 11:17 PM

I don't know what you are talking about. Everyone has vulnerabilities. Healthy relationships are about supporting each other, not using those vulnerabilities against the other. If a woman exploits you because you show your vulnerabilities she isn't worthy. If she expects you to be an emotionally atrophied robot she can't be good. That sociopathic bullshit of "remove your vulnerabilities" has harmed men for centuries. It is time to free ourselves from it. If you want to play the "tough guy" do it…

Love is a fickle and immaterial thing. Wrong. Love is the most important thing in the world. It is because they don't know love that those toxic parents mistreat their children in the first place. Why not just say, "as a woman" or better, "as a human being". The moment she identifies herself as a feminist she is siding with an anti-male ideology, whether she realizes it or not.

The core theory of feminism, which is the patriarchy theory, or the mantra "men oppress women", is blatant misandry.

Feminism is misandry. If you identify yourself as a feminist you are indirectly recognizing that you are a misandrist. It is like saying "I'm a member of the KKK and I want to support black people's rights without diminishing white people's ones".

Start by acknowledging that feminism is nowadays a female supremacist cult. Question the feminist narrative, their concept of the "patriarchy", etc., and look at the bigger picture. It is not only women who suffer injustices. In part, MRA exists because feminism made our oppression as males invisible. They portrayed us for decades as the oppressors and they diminished our problems. If it weren't for feminism we would be now talking about human rights, but since feminism attacked us so much we ne…

I don't understand that contradiction of many women in Spain. They are super feminist but their sexual tastes are the opposite. Most of them like dominant males and "50 Shades of Grey" kind of stuff. They claim to be "empowered women" but when it comes to sex they are masochistic. I don't get it but they don't look very mentally healthy to me.

As a spanish guy living currently in Spain I can guarantee that. It is depressing. Here, feminism is a cult. It is very difficult to find a healthy girl who hasn't fell for the misandric narrative.

That is the current situation in Spain. They have feminist institutions and there are many judges who are feminists. In Spain, there is no innocence presumption for men. If a women accuses you her word is enough to put you in trouble with the law. There are many people trying to change that but for now unfortunately that is the situation. In Spain feminism is a cult and they have taken over the media, politics and legal institutions. It is insane.

"Assaults happening to women" doesn't justify that women can bully innocent men/boys as they please. That is sociopathic victimism. Just a poor excuse to justify evil. It is like if I hit an innocent girl and I try to excuse it saying "I was hit by many girls in the past". Your comment reflects a lack of empathy and a blunt conscience. That is not the moral of this story. At least to me, it is that this society has gone too far with a very hypocritical version of feminism. Women and girls got away with all kind of bullying against the OP just because they were female. And we need to visibilize the problem with more stories like this, so more people will realize that women and girls can be abusers too. Abusers who must be stopped and held accountable. Female narcissism is on the rise because of that. It needs to go.

Capitalism vs socialism/communism is a fake dichotomy. In the industrialized world it is all the same. A man working in a factory in the so-called communist China lives a very similar life to the one in a so-called capitalist society. The point is that it is not natural for men to be slaves of the industry and to be valued only for the money they earn. Don't get trapped in politics and think deeper.

Many hunter-gatherer tribes also encourage those. It is the modern culture the only one that is doing this anti-social thing. They usually were around, flying just for fun. When they weren't, at certain hours, they would go to eat some food. I wouldn't call "work" to what animals and plants (and also certain human groups) do. They just live. Their lives are not divided by "free time" and "work time". All goes together. The trick is to spot the fake cultural traits (such as being competitive, being aggressive, not crying, etc.), and just following nature. I live in Spain, a country in which toxic feminism is rampant. Almost all women restort to the typical narcissistic abuse tactics when you talk about this: gaslighting, denial, minimizing, mocking, projection, etc. If they have been told since childhood that men have no feelings and that we are manipulative and evil by nature, how can they feel empathy toward us? Their empathy toward males has been atrophied by decades of brainwashing. Could you feel empathy against a cobra if you think the snak…

I think that it has to do with how girls are raised from childhood in this modern culture. They are taught wrong things about men and women relationships and about male nature. Most of them grow up thinking that their suffering always matters more than men's. This modern culture makes narcissistic women. It is very difficult to find a woman who rose above the bullshit and who actually feels empathy towards men. It is sad because healthy, non-sociopathic men need healthy, empathic, loving, caring…

If you think that the dude is a role model my only advice is this: go to a psychologist. Check if you have a cluster B personality disorder. Sane boys and men would never follow narcissists. If you identify yourself with a narcissist/sociopath I have bad news for you.

Honestly, if I were the leader of the MRA movement I would ban all of his followers. Feminism went wrong because people with cluster B personality disorders poisoned it. If you read the book "Political Ponerology" you can see how dangerous is to allow sociopathic people into a group. They always ruin it. I have read a lot of books and articles about sociopathy, narcissism and other cluster B personality disorders and I recognize the patterns almost instantly when I see them. A healthy group shou…

Not to mention that "traditional" women usually view and treat men as domestic animals, as Alison Tieman explained so well in her YouTube channel. The so called "conservatism" condemn men to be slaves of their spouses. In fact, I see a lot of narcissism in conservative women. They despise unemployed men as trash because they feel entitled to "own a working man". So, to me both extremes are wrong. A very intelligent woman who realizes the toxicity of both extremes would be good but, boy, those ar…

I don't know, man. I'm a white, heterosexual male and I have a wide array of healthy human emotions. Being excessive "rational" while leaving aside the emotional part is sociopathic. We need both, reason and emotions to navigate through life healthy, both men and women. Women being more emotional is a myth. It is just that in some cultures, like North America's, men are told since childhood to shut off their emotions. They are bullied when they cry. That isn't healthy. We are not robots and we s…

Those darwinian sociopathic ideas must go if we want a clean MRA movement. In fact, presenting men as antisocial (which is what fighting to dominate others in a hierarchy is) and women as kind and compassionate, is s…

I haven't said anything about religions. Being a theist, that is, someone who believes in a creator, or many, doesn't make you a religious person. A serious study about the relationship between cluster B personality disorders and circumcision should be made. I have been suspecting for years that there is a link between those two. Sure, there are oppressors in this system and in those cases they should be blamed and held accountable. The problem is that ideologies like feminism corrupt the word "oppression". We must be aware of the fact that actual victims exist and they need help. We need to avoid conflating the victimism of feminism with actual victimhood. My solution to this problem of "sexual harassment" is not showing interest in them. If they want something from me they'd bette…

How about leaving the seat and moving away from her showing annoyance or even pointing it? Something like "please, stop harassing me" in a loud voice.

I think that Asia is pretty clean of feminism in general although things are changing. I was living in Japan from 2001 to 2010 and boy, I didn't know how cool was the fact that most of women there don't even know about feminism and they don't use words like "patriarchy". I have only done this test in online chats but I guess that offline the results would be no different. So, I have decided that whenever I meet a woman who can be a potential friend or more than that I will ask politel…

I don't believe in "alphas". I think that this Western modern culture has gone nuts with those stupid darwinian concepts.

Only domesticated animals (and humans) think in terms of "rewards". Mentally free individuals like me don't give a fuck about "rewards". If I don't think I'm wrong and nobody proves me wrong I'm not going to change. True failure in life comes when you try to change yourself to what you are not. Many people have destroyed their lifes just by "adapting" to the wrong environment. I have seen that many times. Of course, to people with a healthy conscience and ethics fair and unfair matters. I value …
