Such a good observation. I believe it’s because what really arouses them isn’t “submission”, it’s lack of consent and the feeling of “conquest”. If a woman wants to submit sexually or romantically, because that’s what she’s chosen for her own pleasure, then it’s not as “fun”, because she’s not sublimating her own desires for his - he’s not forcing his will on another human being, therefor it’s less satisfying to his ego. Great mention! I highly recommend the book “don’t shoot the dog” by Karen Pryor. It’s not just about dog training, it’s about reinforcement theory and how to use that knowledge with all kinds of interactions with animals or people (or even yourself)

Ok, men are still more likely to find insecurity/weakness attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/21 11:00 PM
1

So you’re short and low status, then? Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/21 10:18 PM
1

Not in the western dating market where most people are overweight. Being thin as a woman automatically equals being above average in looks, like being tall as a man does. It’s only realistic to have the “not fat” standard if the man is either tall or high status/rich.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/21 08:57 PM
1

Both of these are highly sought after traits, so a non fat nice woman would automatically be above average. If a guy isn’t above average in looks and status, then he’s being unrealistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/21 08:46 PM

Men find insecure women sexy, women don’t find insecure men sexy. So straight male insecurity is more shameful, objectively

The highest status comes from good (attractive) genetics. All other status is lesser in comparison. Genetic code is real and can’t be taken away, resources can be lost or stolen.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/21 08:49 PM
-1

What makes the social contract of looks/status bargaining different from that of financial resources? Genetic quality is real, financial resources are social constructs

No true manospherian 😆 you don’t think there are red pillers who refuse to be settled for but also think women have “too high” standards?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 04:32 PM
3

Ok, no one should have to be settled for. But it makes no sense when men say that out of one side of their mouth then tell women to lower their standards, thereby settling for another guy. The “logical” sex, people
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 04:24 PM

Any woman can become a single mom, dick is abundant and low value and men are irresponsible with where they put their semen
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 04:22 PM
4

I’ve never heard young women say baldness is attractive, more like a specific bald guy is attractive in spite of being bald. I’d compare it to cellulite or facial hair on women.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 04:06 PM
4

I’ve never ever been attracted to bald or balding, and probably never will be. Lack of height and lack of hair are the two biggest Ls a man can have
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 04:01 PM
4

You’re entitled to your youth, but you’re not entitled to other people’s bodies. Baldness is a turn off and a dealbreaker for most young women.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 03:57 PM
2

So men will ignore their attraction cues out of desperation? How does their dick get hard if they’re not attracted? Sorry, but I’ll never reach that level of desperation for sex or companionship. I’d rather be a single mom or in an asexual lesbian relationship than be married to a man I’m not attracted to. Yes, I think casual sex is dehumanizing all around. This is a conclusion that I took some time to come to. I don’t want to participate in that mutual dehumanization and usery.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 03:54 PM

Men and women are different, romantic/sexual demand for the average woman is higher than the demand for the average man. Most women can find someone to reproduce with, regardless of their quality. Or they could even use a sperm bank, assuming they got the cash. Males compete, not females. As soon as men come to terms with that and learn to enjoy their natural place as competitors (not judges) they’ll be better off.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 03:20 PM

Shallow uggo women aren’t forming hate groups and murdering people. Until they do, they get more leeway.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 03:18 PM
1

It definitely applied to him, and you’re referring to Genghis Khan, not Attila. Genghis had to compete and fight to get to his position, he could have been killed at any point before he left his huge genetic legacy. Fun fact: Genghis had a very “modern” view of women for the time period, he greatly valued the input of his mother and his first wife. He even put his wife in charge of his court and she basically ran his empire from the capital while he continued conquering.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 03:17 PM

Also, just because a person is ugly themselves, it doesn't mean they are any more likely to find fellow ugly people any more attractive than the rest of us Yep. Ain’t nobody having a worse time than a shallow uggo. That’s incel fuel

Ok you have 24 hours to cope, clock’s tickin!
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 03:03 PM
1

Well celebs are a self selected pool of conventionally attractive people to begin with
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 03:01 PM
1

But what straight women consider ugly and what gay men consider ugly are two different things. A gay man might consider a rough looking man ugly and sloppy while a straight woman just sees someone masculine. A gay man might see a sharply dressed twink and think he’s gorgeous while a straight woman might think he’s childish or superficial and weak looking. Gay men also don’t seem to value height like straight women do, they like short males as ideal bottoms.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 02:53 PM

And if you want that, then you will probably have to lower your standards so that you’re the more attractive partner
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 02:45 PM
2

Male sexuality and female sexuality are not the same. Eggs are valuable, sperm is cheap. Men can lower their standards and still enjoy sex, their biology makes it easy. If a woman isn’t aroused (and never will be) then sex is not pleasurable. Also, why do men match with and entertain people they’re not attracted to? Why do men get hard for people they’re not attracted to? Are men more attracted to sex and holes than people in general? Is the idea of penetrating something with their penis enough …
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 02:39 PM
3

Thirsty men (of all sexualities) have low standards. Any hole is a goal for them, I wouldn’t be too flattered. Not to mention, the things gay men find attractive might not be attractive to straight women (small size, meekness, innocence, hairlessness)
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 02:32 PM
2

Attraction cannot be negotiated. There's a 99% chance that you've overlooked plenty of quality OLD prospects 0 attraction = 0 quality. As a straight woman, I’d rather be in a dead bedroom with another woman than with an unattractive man. If there’s no sexual attraction, it’s all the same.

You bet your ass my views have changed. No more sex before commitment, any sign of low effort or lack of a chase is a red flag (“if he wanted to, if he values you, he would”), I will judge any man who doesn’t enthusiastically pick up the check (because he’s probably spending money on other dates with other girls), any discussion on past sex is a red flag (he’s a slut shamer) and I will assume most men are users and porn addicts. Basically, I’m single and celibate until I get the girlfriend label…

This is exactly what I’m doing right now to get over my ex! Such a great, cathartic idea. Oh I meant through consecutive generations of living in more western countries, not individually. If they’ve ever lived in and been immersed in the more conservative culture, that’s probably not a good bet. My boyfriend’s mother is an immigrant from a western country and his grandfather was an immigrant from an Asian country. He and his family are some of the hardest working people I’ve ever met. Especially compared to families that have lived in America for more generations. Longtime bred Ameri…

This is why I mainly date men with immigrant parents etc they just don’t seem to come at me with such nonsense. Maybe it’s because their parents had to work harder and they’re less entitled/more manly/put more effort in This is a really apt observation. I’d like to second this! Immigrants and children of immigrants often have impressive amounts of work ethic and integrity. They lack the same entitlement/weakness that American men have recently developed, even if they’re also from western countri…

This is what happens when women’s role as sexual selectors is repressed for thousands of years of patriarchy smh. Hopefully future generations will have higher percentages of attractive men for our granddaughters and great granddaughters. Thankfully for us, sperm banks exist.

My boyfriend is so great with animals, he makes fast friends with all the cats and dogs he comes into contact with. How does he do this? By RESPECTING the animal and their body language cues, never pushing them or forcing an interaction. He waits for the cat or dog to approach him, on their own schedule. And when they’re done interacting, he lets them go and do their own thing. He’s actually more of a cat person than I am, I’m more of a dog lover. Lo and behold, he is also a great partner. Good …

I like having freedom and safety from low value men and I find masculinity attractive. Its not about wanting to feel small and weak, it’s about enjoying being with someone big and strong. It’s not that deep, chief.

The question is who is shittier by nature and who is shittier by circumstance? Males are unilaterally shittier by nature, because of testosterone and brain structure.

Testosterone has biological impacts on behavior (especially aggression) while melanin does not. Sexism has basis in science, racism does not, because race doesn’t biologically exist.

there are five defining features of a modern democracy: representation; free and fair elections; a multi-party system; separation of power; rule of law and protection of human rights
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/21 02:48 AM
1

Oh no, if lack of stability is all women find attractive then homeless mental patients should be swimming in pussy. Proved ya wrong. Testosterone inspires men to conquer their environments and create stability. Criminals are in control of their business, they exert their will and force onto the world around them. Their lifestyles are unstable because they’re going against the law, but stoic violent men are in control of the people and things in their lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/21 02:46 AM
1

Yes this is what modern democracy means. Your problem is with democracy and rule of the people (ALL the people)
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/21 02:25 AM
1

Think of the most unstable groups of people: homeless, mental patients, elderly people with dementia. Are they attracting women? Or is it the hot masculine men who are in control of their lives and give off a idgaf vibe? It’s not instability or “dark triad”, it’s plain old masculinity aka behavior traits which signify the presence of high testosterone levels.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/21 02:17 AM

A democracy which doesn’t represent its native inhabitants is not a true democracy. Republics that do not include women and people of color are not true democracies. The patriarchy relies on strict social hierarchies, it is pro fascism or oligarchy and anti democracy. Rule of the people is a very feminine concept.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/21 02:15 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/21 02:13 AM

Women and people of color are citizens of countries, whether they’re acknowledged as such or not. A democracy is not a true democracy unless it is representative. You’re thinking of a republic

Abortion going away in the 21st century is a fairy tale of the alt right. Women have to sacrifice their natural hormonal balance and their physical safety to get fucked casually, that’s an imbalance right there. What’s stopping men from getting financial abortion is the fact that it’s clearly at the expense of women and children, which most people are never going to be ok with. The only way it wouldn’t be at the expense of women and children is if an agreement is made before sex happens (and mos…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/21 01:43 AM

No. Abortion rights aren’t going anywhere in the western world, that’s not part of this discussion. Everything else we’re talking about is fictional hypothetical. If “men’s rights” activists want to make “financial abortion” a thing, they’re not going to make it happen without sacrificing their ability to get their dicks wet casually. And we all know men cannot handle that possibility.

Nope the paperwork is only for financial abortion. All other laws stay the same for abortion and child support. If all you want is financial abortion as an option, then this is the way to make it happen :) this will also lower the rate of unwanted pregnancy and thus abortions
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/21 12:38 AM
3

The man who wants to financially abort has to bring the paperwork pre-sex, as financial abortion should be opt-in. If he doesn’t bring the paperwork and have her sign before sex happens, then he’s on the hook as normal. This solves the problem of potential deadbeats ever getting laid

Someone who is wealthy enough to buy their perfect dream car is going to be a better match with their car than someone who was forced by necessity to drive the first car they can afford. The moment that poor driver gets more money he’ll trade in what he views as the rust bucket he never wanted. You loved your first car because it was your first (novelty) and because it was a gift from your father. Also, women are not objects or cars, although apparently men can only love them as possessions.

Why would a man with several options choose you? Have you heard of something humans experience called emotional attachment? He doesn't. Women hope he will, so they get used for sex then complain. Mine did. But yeah, this is why women shouldn’t have sex before commitment and before she’s made a man see her as special. You had a point then went off the rails with your final statement. Women don’t like deceitful polygamous men, women like men with options who actually value them as individuals more than a sexual utility. Desperation is such a turn off because it signals a male has bad genes and that whatever bonds he makes won’t be genuine or strong.

it is hypocritical and immoral for women to demand their rights and individual autonomy - which, again, I support - but then turn around and expect men to be some sort of cookie cutter version of what they want. It doesn’t work that way It’s not immoral or hypocritical. Women have no problem staying single if there are no “real men” around. Butch lesbians and masculine trans men still exist if men want to stop being masculine

Because as soon as I say I’m a certain ethnicity it will be used as ammo against me by certain individuals. So I’ll just keep it as white passing (because that’s pretty much what I identify with culturally and what people assume). I wouldn’t dump someone over family history, but I would be on the lookout for early signs and be prepared to jump ship if the hairline starts to creep. Like men do when their girl (with a fat mom) starts to get a belly. Uh it’s one of those “I know it when I see it” s…

I don’t want to share my ancestral history on Reddit. None of the men in my family have receding hairlines. My grandfathers died with full heads of hair, my dad in his sixties still has all his hair. I feel safer that an Asian man won’t go bald. White guys can stealth bald suddenly at 50, which would be heartbreaking. I don’t want “big” dicks btw, I don’t enjoy being stretched. I like normal to thin girth with normal to long length.

Menopause is part of the cycle which keeps our species going. Menopause is an adaptation, balding is just a mutation.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/21 11:55 PM

Mixed, white passing, no bald men in my entire family tree. Lol no not all Asians are short or have small penises. Genetic variation exists in all populations. My guy is 6 foot with a normal d and normal jawline
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/21 11:54 PM

Periods and menopause serve a purpose and keep our species going. Baldness is just an eyesore. Rudeness on an anonymous forum isn’t the same as rudeness irl. I don’t care if I “come off as a bitch” with people who only exist on a screen

Because they’re gross 🤢 most men with Mediterranean ancestry fixed that for you. I’m insecure that I might marry a hot guy with gorgeous hair and then someday have to pretend I haven’t lost all attraction for him when he starts looking like an old man/infant. Just another reason to date Asian and Native American men almost exclusively.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/21 11:48 PM

This is a popular misconception that bald guys use to feel better. Their levels are actually average, they just have an abnormal gene which reacts badly to normal androgen levels
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/21 11:42 PM

They wouldn’t do shit, especially if the man knows how to talk to police. Police need actual evidence to make an arrest
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/21 11:40 PM

The average man can choose to become physically strong, get badass looking tats, and develop a mean expression or body language

“Evil” is not determined by popular vote. The average man is more actively evil than the average woman, just by death count alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/21 11:32 PM

That stat is based off Caucasian males which predominantly carry the gene that is activated by DTH. Asians, Pacific Islanders, and Native American men do not have the balding gene with the same frequency as Mediterranean Caucasians. A bad gene is one which reduces the organism’s chances of reproduction. By that logic, balding is a bad gene. I won’t need to get over it (or pretend to) because my significant other is Asian and his family doesn’t have any baldies.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/21 11:31 PM

Why are you bringing race into this? No one is overtly threatening, all a big tough man has to do is exist and other people will kowtow to him or kiss his ass. The fear doesn’t come from an imminent beating, it comes from the inherent knowledge of power differences

/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/21 11:06 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/21 11:01 PM

I’m saying the whole point of this thread is about sex differences (male and female). Ease of catching dick is not exclusive to being female, the way physical strength and peeing standing up is exclusive to maleness.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/21 10:48 PM

Lesbian women do not have unlimited access to sex with other women, because pussy is high value. Gay men have the same ease of sex as straight women.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/21 10:43 PM
14

Your point was about access to sex. Anyone can get access to sex with dicks. Lesbian women don’t have the advantage to call up a pussy like a pizza, so this isn’t a perk exclusive to all women. Dick is abundant and low value, it’s available for everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/21 10:40 PM

That’s not exclusive to cis women. Anyone can get some sweet dick whenever they want, because dick is abundant and low value
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/21 10:39 PM

Men can force their will on others with their physical strength. They can passively intimidate others and gain respect with their physical presence. People care about their opinions and feelings out of fear and will avoid upsetting them.

Making fun of someone with a dry dick is a lesser evil than making fun of someone with an empty wallet. I won’t feel bad for the way I get my kicks 🤷‍♀️ no one was physically harmed in the making of these lols plus incels are doomed to misery anyway, whether I participate or not

/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/21 09:30 PM

We weren’t always successful, we had to experience shitty parts of male nature before we found our ltrs. No, it would be more like a physically fit athletic dude picking on scrawny dudes who can’t lift. It’s just fun and feels good

That’s a bizarre expectation to have of anyone in a relationship. I fantasize, he fantasizes, but at at the end of the day we be both want each other more than anyone else in the world. The best part is the people he fantasizes about literally look like me, so it’s sort of reassuring in a way.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/21 06:26 PM

I did, for the most part. There were one or two exceptions, but most of the guys I slept with I wanted to be with romantically. Women are more holistic in their attraction, because their imperative is to get commitment from the highest value male.

I would definitely prefer it if men didn’t separate commitment from sex and could only get aroused by women they could imagine marrying. This is separate from sex drive, though. Mixed breed dogs are actually healthier, have better temperaments, and are less prone to cancers. German shepherds bred in the US are very prone to anxiety and spinal/hip issues. Women want a dog capable of protecting them. When your choices are between a junkyard dog and a chihuahua, it’s a no brainer. There aren’t any well bred German shepherds around anymore. That’s unexpected. Why do you want to damage yourself? Is it self harm? Or to fit in?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 05:20 PM

No, that’s more rationalization. Hurting an already hurt person is even more morally bankrupt. Have you heard of the phrase “kicking someone while they’re down”? Is robbing a homeless person “adding excitement to their life”? What about adding another broken bone to someone in a full body cast?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 05:19 PM

You are responsible for both. Your opinion determines the morality of your actions.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 05:18 PM

But you don’t believe sex damages men. The drug is dangerous to women and not dangerous to men, in your opinion. So supplying women with the drug for your own benefit is immoral

You can choose to be the bad guy or the good guy. It’s often easier and more self serving to be the bad guy. But it’s harder to live with yourself and harder to view yourself as the hero of your story, which is what every human ego wants

2

Because that’s convenient for you
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 05:13 PM

You provide them the drug which harms them, of which you are aware. You gain more from the interaction than they do. You are the dealer. You’re trying not to be the evil perpetrator soooo hard rn
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 05:11 PM
2

Yes. But it would be immoral for someone with your opinion to engage in casual sex
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 05:10 PM
1

No. You are the one who determines it because you are responsible for your own actions.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 05:10 PM
2

Because you believe casual sex is degrading to women. You believe it devalues them and prevents them from attaining the one thing they want most. That sounds like harm to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 05:08 PM
1

You’re the dealer in this scenario. You believe the drug doesn’t harm you, but you know it harms the person you’re selling to.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 05:07 PM

Drug peddlers are almost universally reviled as bad people. They are knowingly hurting other people for their own gain
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 05:05 PM

I don’t care who you commit to, I care about whether you’re morally consistent and whether you hurt other people. If you don’t believe casual sex harms women, then you can have all the “free” sex you want without being a bad person. But if you DO believe it harms them, then you are behaving in an evil way.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 05:03 PM

You’re engaging in an action which you believe hurts the other person. Lying is less evil than that

If you view it as bad then you are being immoral. Your opinion matters because it determines whether your actions are moral or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 04:55 PM

Ok. But those women aren’t hurting people. Sex negative men engaging in casual sex are hurting people

That sounds like a “you” problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 04:52 PM

It’s about how YOU view casual sex. If you view it as harmful to women then you cannot morally engage in it
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 04:50 PM

They’re naive fools, like people who buy cars from shady used car lots. But they’re not evil
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 04:50 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 04:49 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 04:44 PM

They should know better. But it is on you morally. Taking advantage of and hurting naive people to benefit yourself is immoral.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 04:42 PM

Having clearly communicated preferences does not make you an asshole. It might make you a hypocrite, but at least you wouldn’t be actively hurting other people.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 04:41 PM
1

It would be immoral because the faulty breaks would harm them and others. They should know better than to buy a car with faulty breaks, but you should also know better than to sell a car with faulty breaks. Knowingly causing harm to other people to benefit yourself is the definition of evil. I think you just don’t want to come to terms with the moral inconsistencies of your actions and desires.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/21 04:40 PM
1

If you’re knowingly causing harm you are committing an immoral act. You don’t need to lie about the brakes in the car, selling someone a car with faulty brake lines is immoral. It doesn’t matter if they’re too stupid to know to ask about the quality of the brakes. Either come to terms with that or change the way you view the product. If you believe casual sex is not damaging to women, you can morally have as much casual sex as you want. But so long as you view casual sex as damaging to women, en…

It doesn’t matter who “started it” if you’re willingly actively contributing to people’s suffering, you are acting immorally. Losing time alone is WAY better than losing time + getting pumped and dumped and losing confidence as a result. You’re wrong and the blue pillers are wrong. All it takes is ONE man to catch feels and fall prey to sunk cost fallacy. It doesn’t need to work on all men for it to be an effective strategy. It’s a numbers game, like anything else. In the meantime, the woman loses nothing and gains dates, dinners, and validation. Ironically, you’re using the same arguments blue pillers use against trp. “It doesn’t work, and if it does work then it only works on low quality people”

I don’t think we can blame online dating for men’s sexual usury behavior. Online dating only makes it easier for users to use people. “You meet a guy who’s just rich enough to use for a few dates, but not rich enough to leech off long term” is how a female user would think. It’s not the fault of technology for the ugly sides of human nature. Technology only reveals what was already there.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 07:39 PM
6

Could very well be. Like another commenter said, it might just be human nature to be eternally dissatisfied with their current position, whatever that is. “Grass is always greener” mentality might be an adaptation to push individuals to improve their fitness. Maybe we never would have left Africa without that impulse?

The attraction women feel for their optimistic projection of male nature is very much real. We dream of handsome men as benevolent loyal princes who will improve our lives and defend the weak. The reality of male nature kills that. It’s hard to love a polygamous predatory cradle robber.

simply being at a decent weight and dressing/acting feminine is often plenty to attract a man Women don’t want “A man”, they want “a hot compatible committed man”. Getting that takes effort. Being attractive as a guy is enough, if you’re willing to lower your standards to women significantly less attractive. A woman who has achieved her hypergamous dreams will treat her man like a king.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 07:07 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 07:03 PM

AWALT and AMALT. Men are all the same too, women have just accepted this as reality. It doesn’t take a master of manipulation, all it takes is observing what the target wants and then emulating that fantasy with enough consistency. Players do this all the time with “future faking”
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 07:00 PM
5

Not all women are naturals, some of us have to learn girl game and social maneuvering consciously as an adult. All men are capable of manipulating women significantly less attractive than they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 06:58 PM
6

No. Men perceive a pursuing woman as an easy lay, but they will not fall in love with that woman. Males pursue, females select. If he’s already in love and in a relationship, having his female partner initiate sex will make him even more lazy and complacent.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 06:56 PM
3

All men have human psychology that can be manipulated. It may be more difficult to incite sunk cost fallacy in a man with abundance mentality, but it’s certainly not impossible. Abundance mentality is not a bullet proof shield against catching feels
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 06:55 PM
11

Because the male partner stops wooing and pursuing her. Female sexual drive is triggered by being actively desired by someone hot.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 06:50 PM
8

Both partners should have “passive dread game” by maintaining their attractive qualities. Men also stop putting in effort once they see sex and ownership of the woman as a “sure thing”
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 06:46 PM
5

Ambition, passion, competency, and work ethic usually translate to financial success.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 06:44 PM

Awareness doesn’t change subconscious instincts and behaviors. I consciously know about the halo effect but I still think and behave unconsciously in accordance to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 06:40 PM
4

Male brains and personalities are more varied, because of the mutations in the Y chromosome. There will be hot weird guys out there who don’t have the “normal” male imperative for sexual variety. My boyfriend is one of these strange hot dudes, he’s always been about ltrs, even when offered casual. We joke that he’s female brained because he basically is going by the female life script.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 06:39 PM
2

Precisely. And men’s perceptions aren’t fool proof, they can be tricked into viewing a woman as “hotter”, especially with enough time and sunk cost fallacy. This is where girl game comes in handy, the woman needs to behave as though she is hotter than he is, as though she has hotter options waiting in the wings to commit and mate guard. This triggers competitive and possessive behavior in men.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 06:36 PM
45

This. It’s either “fuck yes” or no. If a man is not “fuck yes” for you in early dating stages, he never will be. For women, attraction cannot be negotiated. For men, commitment cannot be negotiated.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 06:33 PM
3

Would a man “enjoy the relationship as it is” if he was receiving no sex but paying for all dates?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 06:32 PM
5

Men aren’t wired for patience the way women are. Testosterone increases risk-taking behavior, like giving up your leverage.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 06:31 PM
8

A woman only needs to find ONE romantically-minded hot guy willing to concede the male imperative to achieve their victory condition. A man needs to maintain a rotation of multiple women their entire lives to achieve their’s. I can tell which one is less likely to happen, especially when most men are genetically ugly.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 06:29 PM
13

It’s as unlikely as the male fantasy of a semi-open relationship with many mistresses on the side. Some people can pull it off, and those people are very, very happy. I know a guy who has a bisexual forever girlfriend and an “open” relationship with a one penis policy. He’s very happy, his girlfriend much less so. The women who have hot husbands who pursue them forever are similarly very, very happy.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 06:25 PM
1

Leverage and patience are everything. Women are the masters of patience, we wait 9 months for a baby. Men are more likely to cave to their thirst.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 06:22 PM
15

Understanding will not change behavior, desires or drives. Women are only miserable when men do not behave in accordance to the female imperative. Women are very, very happy with a monogamous hypergamy-satisfied relationship in which the man continues to “woo” her forever.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/21 06:19 PM
29

Because women do not value novelty the way men do. For women, a monogamous relationship that satisfies hypergamy is the ultimate victory condition. Why wouldn’t you want to expend effort to maintain that win? Even if women do “understand” male nature, they will never like it or agree with it. Our imperatives are at odds. So women will forever try to strong-arm men into satisfying their imperative and men will do the same thing on their side. Men will try to make women “ok” with being forever-pla…

Thousands of years of patriarchy and repressed female sexual selection has made the genetic traits women are attracted to (tall height, high testosterone levels, strong jaws, and thick heads of hair) very scarce in the overall population. A few generations of free sexual selection should solve this problem and make genetically attractive men less rare. Unfortunately, humans reproduce very slowly so it will take hundreds of years to undo the dysgenic effects of patriarchy.

I really enjoy relationships and the little rituals that come with them. Early dating is my least favorite part, because it feels like a disingenuous performance and a judgmental evaluation. I guess I dislike having to pretend my boyfriend’s immature jokes are funny or having to watch football and root for his team when the games are on. But even that I can find some enjoyment in, making him happy makes me happy.

This is the only dating or relationship ritual I dislike and wish I didn’t have to participate in. I guess men don’t see it as a ritual, but as someone actually performing the ritual, I sure do. Treading the fine line of “sexy but not slutty” is very difficult and most women overshoot and end up in the “fuckzone” box. It’s not a fair trade biologically. The female imperative and the male imperative have different “victory conditions”. For males, sex is a win. For females, high value commitment is a win. Sex without commitment is a net loss for straight women, and also dangerous. The vagina is more likely to catch stds, sex is more physically taxing on the female body, and women are less likely to orgasm. It is the objective truth about human socio sexual behavior, you can choose not to accept it. But females are the sexual selectors and they are the ones which determine male value. Male value is determined by genetic factors, being muscular or on a magazine cover doesn’t make him high value if his genes remain unchanged. Money is the only thing that can offset the male’s lack of genetic value to create equal value to a womb. All wombs have value, only men with good genes or vast resources are hi…

That’s only the case for homosexual couples. Heterosexual men and women are evaluated differently for the same traits, because of sexual dimorphism and the difference in parental investment. Straight women value genetic traits more, straight men value traits related to health and fertility more. Short man (low genetic value) and fat woman (low health/fertility value) are a match. Thin or fit women (high health/fertility) seek out men with high value genes (tall men with nice faces and hairlines)…

That would make a lot of sense. Bonobos seem more cooperative and social by nature than the competitive warlike chimpanzee. I found this article talking about bonobo referential communication. https://www.google.com/amp/s/phys.org/news/2015-09-wild-bonobos-referential-gestural-intentions.amp It appears female bonobos are the “social geniuses” of our ape cousins

Chimps are also altruistic, though. But I see what you’re saying. Interestingly enough, one of the most observable differences between humans and chimps are instinctive understanding of referential pointing. This speaks to our differences in actionable cooperation. Chimpanzees typically gather food alone, because even within a troop they will steal food from each other. So “pointing out” food locations never cropped up as an adaptation. I wonder if bonobos understand what pointing means?

It’s the frontal lobe (which is responsible for logical self control and understanding consequences of actions) which prevents that. But honestly people do scare the shit out of me “I’m not afraid of god, I am afraid of man”

It is true. Sometimes I wish I could go back to pretending all men are benevolent feminists inside but forced by the patriarchy to be toxic. Now I believe in AMALT and I see it everywhere. I even see it in your post, there’s understanding but no sympathy except for “the next guy” and his insecurities. Why not have sympathy for the previously naive taint licker who now has to be more jaded and guarded? Male sexuality is predatory and you decry that the girl won’t be as “easy prey” for the next ma…

It is a ritual for women to be forced to behave like a goalkeeper in a sport they wish was cooperative instead of competitive. Male sexuality necessitates this ritual, because of their instincts for paternal uncertainty. Men may not view this as a ritual, but it really is one. The “I’m not a slut but I’m still attracted to you” dance is the female side of the coin of early dating performance.

Navigating the Madonna/whore complex in the early stages. Don’t put out too soon or you’re placed in the “not gf material” box but don’t wait too long or he’ll lose interest. If male sexuality was more like female sexuality (commitment and sex being closely linked) this wouldn't even be an issue, because sexual intimacy would coincide with emotional intimacy. I like the other social rituals, because I like being wooed and pursued.

I love that male drive, but I hate polygamy. You can choose to channel that energy into pursuing a life partner while you wank it to porn or pay sex workers. This is what responsible men do with those instincts, instead of leading women on. Find someone you want to fuck AND be with.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/20 04:54 PM

I’m here to promote the female imperative and fight the male imperative. If TRP used their knowledge to be better alpha bucks and facilitate hypergamy, I would have no problem with that. Instead, they use the knowledge to pump and dump and regress to sexist fundie conservative dogma. And I hate lvm, so I come here to have fun poking them with sticks.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/20 04:50 PM

most of us aren’t going to straight up deny an opportunity for sex because of it This is the root of the problem. Men need to be willing to lose out on sex and be honest about their intentions and feelings. Men should be prioritizing relationships, especially the unattractive men, because most sex happens within ltrs. Stop looking for sex, start looking for partners.

“Toxic” masculinity is masculinity that is targeting women and children instead of other male competitors. Positive masculinity > toxic masculinity > no masculinity (weak male)

Those traits correlate with other traits which make a man a better protector and provider - ambition, confidence, social savvy, risk taking, drive, and willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure the survival of his family.

Masculine men are assholes to competitors, as they should be.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 07:05 PM

“(If I can’t own a virgin) I don’t want monogamy”. I shortened it to make the meaning clearer. You don’t want monogamy, you want a sex slave. Sorry those aren’t available in the modern first world, but they’re still in stock in third world nations.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 07:03 PM
2

Non masculine men interpret masculinity as “asshole” behavior. “Assholes” are survivors and warriors that are more capable of protecting and providing for their families. The ideal man is an “asshole” to other men (threats and competition) while being good to his family.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 07:00 PM

Those sound like excuses to justify why you’re going against the normative life path. You can admit you don’t actually want monogamy instead of reaching for rationalizations. It’s ok to not want monogamy.

You don’t value monogamy if you desperately need someone to talk you into it. Either you believe the “sacrifices” are worth building a life together with a romantic partner, or they’re not. It seems like you’re not wired or cut out for monogamous relationships. That’s ok, stick to tinder.

I’m glad most other males don’t display your levels of hypergamy. My boyfriend likes the dynamic where he’s “better” or above me. He likes knowing that he’s hot and the boss and I worship him 🤩
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 06:28 PM
2

You are wrong, but it ain’t magical. Men commit to women “lower” than they are all the time, and those men have the strongest most passionate relationships. You might just be especially hypergamous for a male. Other males don’t struggle with having a partner that is “lesser” so long as she keeps the balls empty and belly full.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 06:24 PM
2

I already did, though. He’s taller, fitter, more popular, and makes more money than I do. Realities you dislike don’t magically become delusions just because you say so.

Sure, from men better looking than them that satisfy their hypergamy. Men exchange good looks + provision for good looks + fertility in the modern first world. If you want the old deal: exchanging money for good looks and fertility, then it’s prostitutes or mail order brides for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 06:13 PM

Nah it’s good genes in exchange for good genes in the modern first world. Women can make their own money, stop acting like your “maturity and skills” are gold, they’re not

/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 06:05 PM
3

Bro you’re adamant about being unhappy
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 06:04 PM
4

Marriage is not fucked, it’s just not meant for males who are unwilling to compete and do their half of the mating dance. All females are hypergamous, and that’s a good thing. Go your own way with prostitutes if you don’t want to deal with the realities of the animal kingdom and your place within it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 05:56 PM
1

A woman who views you as her best, most physically attractive option will let you walk over her, and she will be happy about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 05:54 PM
5

It makes perfect sense from an evolutionary perspective. If you want your genes to die out, that’s your business. The fertile womb is and will always be a prize for males to compete for. Casual sex and prostitutes are an option, but they will not provide a genetic legacy or support in old age.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 05:52 PM
5

For guaranteed consistent access to a vagina, paternal security, and romantic harmony. And don’t forget the lovey dovey feelings and ego boosts. If all a man cares about is having sex with the hottest woman possible, he should rent prostitutes.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 05:48 PM
5

For lifelong access to a womb and positive female energy. If you don’t value having a genetic legacy or a female partner who treats you like a king, then that’s your prerogative. A wife who does not have her hypergamy satisfied will be a nagging resentful harpy. Is that worth having a partner who’s better looking than you (who will inevitably divorce your ass)?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 05:45 PM
7

It is entirely justified in the whole animal kingdom, when females have higher parental investment than males. Female sexual selection fuels the evolution of species. You’re wrong, a woman with her hypergamy satisfied will make the best wife.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 05:42 PM
3

And we’re discussing sex, not relationships. Men don’t care about their children’s genetic well being, they care about their own money and their own sex lives. Men’s priorities change for relationships because they stand to lose money and because they want to mate guard the hottest female they can have sex with. It’s not because they want their children to be more biologically fit than they are. Men will pop out bastards with the lowest quality women and not donate a cent, if they can get away w…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 05:33 PM
3

Men do not feel the same way at all. Men will “donate” their sperm to any hole, they don’t care about genetic quality and they don’t lose anything by having sex with someone less attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 05:30 PM
5

That’s because of the value of eggs, not the drive for sex. Sex is only “worth it” for women if it guarantees better genetic quality for her potential offspring.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 04:48 PM
11

There are fixed genetic traits associated with sexual dimorphism that trigger attraction for straight women. Unfortunately, those traits are rare in today’s male population. Women perceive a prospective partner holistically, not as a sum of body parts (like male brains do) and grade on a pass/fail instead of on a gradient.

She only needs to win once to win the entire game, the female strategy is about patience, hedging bets, and holding onto assets. All it takes is ONE 7 or 8 man with limited market knowledge, blue pill values, and a specific type of girl he’s attracted to for this strategy to work. The male strategy is a numbers game, because males pursue. He needs to win over and over to “win the game” of male sexual strategy. On a regular basis? No. Occasionally when we can’t be together? Sure. Also, it depends on what kind of porn it is. If he ever prefers porn to sex with me, it would be an immediate deal breaker. And I expect him to hide his porn use; if I see it or hear it, then it’s too much. Unless he wants to watch it WITH me and include me, that’s totally fine, I’d be ok with that. Any “personal” porn like e girls or cam girls are dealbreakers. Any past porn addiction is a deal breaker.

Because having your man “below” you and subservient is disgusting for straight women, it goes against hypergamy and causes insecurity. Women like men with spines who are capable of protecting and providing. Nice guy doormats can’t protect or provide, they cave at the first sign of adversity and always opt for the path of least resistance.

There’s the psychological aspects of penetration and the potential for pregnancy that men will never understand. Women potentially “lose” more biologically from having sex with unattractive men than men stand to lose from having sex with unattractive women. For men, all heterosexual sex is an evolutionary win. They don’t carry any physical consequences, they don’t lose time and energy gestating a parasite with bad genes. Men can only understand sex as a loss when it’s another man taking sex from…

A lot of guys simp a stupid amount for their first crush or their favorite cam girl, until they eventually realize they’re being scammed because pussy isn’t worth that much money or effort, and subsequently give their future girlfriend less. They’re “rewarding” women who didn’t give a shit about them and “punishing” the women who do. I don’t fault anyone for learning from their past, but a lot of men on this forum seem to fault women for doing just that.

I don’t catch “feels” from giving or receiving massages. Men don’t like women as people, men value women as sources of sexual satisfaction and validation. The competition isn’t the problem, pumping and dumping is the problem. Positive masculinity improves society, toxic masculinity destroys it. Men who pump and dump coerce consent using deception and manipulation. If men were honest about their intentions, there would be no pump and dumps.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/20 05:24 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/20 04:54 PM

Ideally, men wouldn’t be able to pump and dump without consequences. Ideally, men would have the same standards for casual sex as they have for commitment. Because they’re the same inside , whats wrong in hunting for superficial perfection? Right. But certain heritable traits come in clusters, masculine appearances are related to masculine behaviors. Because the level of testosterone affects physiology and brain chemistry.

You’re making fun of fat women on the internet you know nothing about. You don’t know what made them fat, you just know you find their fat ugly so you need to “put them in their place”. You’re the same morally as a woman who makes fun of anonymous ugly guys. Not hating you for that, just telling you to lay off the hypocrisy. I consider all physical attacks the same, you’re free to do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 07:52 PM

You’re talking about completely different situations. I’m only speaking within the context of criticizing physical appearances. An uggo is an uggo, regardless of how they got there or how responsible they are for their own ugliness. You’d make fun of a fat woman with a food addiction and a fat woman with PCOS or thyroid issues with the same enthusiasm, because it was never about the origin of the fatness. You wouldn’t make fun of a thin bulimic who overeats at the same rate as a fat food addict,…

You’re saying no company would have taken advantage of an untapped niche market? Yeah right. Fat women are still women with cash to spend, it’s smart for clothing companies to advertise to a consistently growing market group. My empathetic reaction does not impact how I perceive physical appearances or attacks on physical appearances. Attacking fat women for being unattractive is not and will never be morally superior to attacking ugly men for being unattractive. Their life stories are irrelevan…

It’s very subjective, he could be a 7 to someone who likes that aesthetic. He’s just not my type at all. I need a guy to have tall height and long dark hair to feel any attraction. Plus sized models exist because plus sized people exist and buy clothing. Models make money by being a living mannequin, clothing companies make money by appealing to as many potential customers as possible. This is capitalism in action, not feminism. The behavior component doesn’t matter at all, even though you want it to. Two broke guys are two broke guys, it doesn’t matter how they got there, they’re still in the same boat. No one is expecting fat people to be treated like models, that’s a straw man. Attacking someone for their appearance is attacking them for their appearance. Sorry, but women care more about genetic traits than men, so genetic traits matter more for male attractiveness. A bald short guy is the equivalent of a fat girl or an old woman. Making fun of one or the other isn’t better or worse, it’s the same.

They’re more wholesome, hard working, and alpha generally by necessity. Upper class people are spoiled, frat boy players often come from privileged families. Working people are too busy supporting themselves to entertain “spinning plates”. These type of men want a partner to build their life with, upper class men don’t need anyone to build alongside them, because they inherited their standard of living.

No. He still has to have the appearance of having a job or a purpose outside of homemaking. He needs to provide something or have a passion for something, otherwise there’s no masculinity. I don’t like feminine men, but I really like some feminine traits on an otherwise masculine man. Long hair is my favorite, but it has to be on a tall broad shouldered guy who can grow a nice beard. OP it’s not your hair that’s the problem, it’s likely your feminine facial ratios and your weight.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/20 04:13 PM

As someone who did go through this, I actually somewhat agree with OP. Women who consistently get pumped and dumped need to lose weight then practice FDS, that’s the only self improvement that increases women’s chances at getting ltrs with men they’re attracted to. Get hotter then don’t put out before commitment, trust me it works.

Not all suffering is equal. Physical, life threatening suffering will always be taken more seriously than suffering that requires the use of another person’s body to alleviate. Most people don’t care about suffering that they can’t relate to on some level, and people are more likely to relate to universal existential level threats, compared to sexlessness. You’re right, it’s likely polygenic. But those genes responsible for PCOS must be present in the DNA for the environment to trigger them. You’re wrong about the balding genes, some populations lack the genes for hair loss. Obviously genes and the environment interact and affect each other. That doesn’t excuse it, that makes it worse, actually. It means male sexuality and male nature are irredeemably evil, by nature. Women do not love it, women resent it at all ages (especially at young ages when they’re being targeted by predators). I have a neotenous face, I still think “barely legal” porn and men who enjoy that are both disgusting.

Are you a father? Fathers hate parts of their sexuality once they become aware of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/20 04:09 PM

Sedentary lifestyles create fat cells which create more estrogen, not less. Plastics in the environment create more estrogen, not less. Estrogens from birth control in the water create higher estrogen levels, not less. Women are not androgynous, you can’t pull a “both sides” here. Girls are developing sooner than ever because they are so flooded with estrogen. Also, PCOS is genetic, not environmental.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/20 04:08 PM

Fathers tend to find parts of their own sexuality disgusting after they meet their children. Men only become fully aware of the dangers of male sexuality when they have their own children. They’re protective before, but it’s a different level of awareness and disgust after.

Attraction to children and the features of children is disgusting, because they are undeveloped and defenseless. It’s predatory, it’s taking advantage of a defenseless adorable creature to sate sexual needs. And children inevitably age, so they’ll be thrown away once they’re all used up and abused. That’s where my disgust comes from, it’s the same type of disgust I have for people (men) who rape cute little animals.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/20 03:37 PM

They might be trolling, but I think there’s some truth about our cultural perceptions there. Men look so androgynous, they’ve lost their secondary sexual characteristics, so women have to crank up their performance of femininity through artificial means (make up and neotenous costuming).
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/20 03:36 PM
11

What’s creepy about incest to begin with? Similar answer. You cannot explain instinctual universal disgust. Attraction to neoteny is pedophilic, and pedophiliia is perceived with disgust, especially by parents and by females.

23

I think she makes a very accurate observation, something I’ve noticed as well, and it’s very disturbing. The male attraction to neoteny is creepy to begin with, but anime has exacerbated the issue. Plus, men today look more feminine than they ever have in history, because of environmental plastics, estrogens, and sedentary lifestyles. It goes far beyond conception, DNA is for life. Whether or not a man accepts cultural fatherhood, if he has offspring which share half his dna, then he is a paternal sire for the rest of his life (or his offspring’s life). A mother who gives her children up for adoption is no longer a mother in the social sense, but she is still a mother biologically.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/20 05:53 PM
1

Does that really ruin anything? I think it gives the group new energy and motivation. Men need competition otherwise they become complacent and feminine
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/20 05:50 PM
1

DNA is unaffected by culture. Fatherhood is cultural and is a chosen moniker, but paternal sire is biological. We hold paternal sires to account now because we couldn’t do so previously. DNA tests and other technologies force culture to evolve, and it’s making the cultural definition of fatherhood to be synonymous to the biological. This is a good thing for women and their children, which is why most people support it.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/20 05:45 PM
1

But there’s nothing wrong with wanting to be impregnated by good genes, there’s nothing to deflect. It’s basic biology, not something anyone should be demonized for.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/20 05:42 PM

Biology creates paternity, culture creates fatherhood. Motor vehicles were unheard of through most of human history, but I don’t see us ever going back to horse and buggy.

I guess I still believe in some softline biological determinism. Human homosexuality could be explained through indirect selection and kin selection theories. A homosexual who helps his or her sister produce more offspring also produces more copies of their own dna, indirectly, since they share 25% of dna with nieces and nephews. So helping four nieces or nephews survive to reproduce is as successful as helping one of their own offspring. And the genes for homosexual behavior invariably remain i…

I love evolutionary psychology and human ethology, but making hard fast rules about human behavior isn’t scientific at all. Science is about being open to learning more, and if you create absolute rules that’s not really possible. There are some generalizations we can make already, but evolutionary psychology is such a young field of study we need to give it time to test hypothesizes. Thanks for the link! It makes sense that humans have a “menu” of behavioral options, depending on what makes the…

It’s all about resource availability. When you have food to spare and a safe environment, quantity is everything and parental investment is minimal. When food and safety are scarce because the environment is less forgiving, you need quality offspring and more parental investment.

There’s no way to tactfully say “your genes aren’t good enough” so instead we say “you’re not my type”. Women support other women and always will, sorry men are mean to each other but you can’t bring women down because of that. Women are the reason women have a body positivity moment, women are the ones who provide sympathy for insecurities to each other. It’s not “society” that causes women to stick together and lift each other up, it’s shared identity and in group bias.

Men absolutely have an easier time. Their smv is the same as their rmv, if a woman wants to have sex with them, they also want an ltr. And that is SO much less confusing than the female dynamic.

There’s evidence of humans engaging in serial monogamy, polygyny, and even polyandry. Humans are the most adaptable species on the planet, and our mating styles adapt to changes in resource availability, presence of environmental pathogens, and population ratios. When resources are plentiful, the population is high, pathogens are more common, and females are readily available, polygyny occurs. When resources are scarce and people are few and far between, polyandry occurs, because mate guarding b…

Yes men are both the greatest danger to women and also their greatest protectors. Can’t live with them, can’t live without them. The biological truth doesn’t infantilize women or demonize men. Women statically are less likely to have the inclination to violence, because of hormonal differences and differences in brain structure. You’re missing the forest for the trees by focusing on singular events. There are female killers of course, but there are SO many more male killers, because of male natu…

Women are around children more often. If men had equal access to children, the numbers would be worse. Women have the ability to kill, just not the inclination. Males have both. Obviously not all men are murderers, but all men are capable of violence. It’s the same, men are just as selfish and concerned with utility. No, some people are just better at pretending, virtue signaling, and rationalizing their selfishness than others. This has nothing to do with altruism btw altruism is a behavior which lowers your biological fitness while increasing another’s fitness. There is reciprocal altruism (tit for tat trades) and kin-selection (altruism for related individuals).
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/20 09:14 PM
5

It is the same. We all require utility from our social interactions, it’s normal, but men on here like to demonize women for it while excusing themselves of the same behavior. No one values things “for their own sake” we’re all selfish hairless chimps. We value things that are good for us, and devalue things that harm us.

If he doesn’t spend any resources, there’s a good chance none of his children will reach adulthood, which would be a big L. A man with thousands of offspring but none of them go on to reproduce has an evolutionary score of 0. The same as a man who has never copulated. But a man with five offspring that he takes care of can almost guarantee he has a non zero score at the end of the game.

The only men who will stand for sex being a bargaining chip are those men who the woman will lose respect and attraction to long-term when they get married. Men keep saying this, but it’s not true. Using sex as a one time barrier to entry does not mean you’re going to continue using it as a bargaining chip. I withheld sex from my bf at first even though I wanted to jump on his dick. The hot and dumb individual can still have many offspring, that’s what determines good genes. I agree hot, smart, and assertive is the ideal. But being hot alone is enough for most women. Alpha is just another word for a dude with good genes. Alpha bucks is a man with good genes who wants a committed monogamous relationship. That’s it. Ok but most men are beta, so most men are insecure, so most men envy hot betas. Most men wish they had a “ball and chain” they’re so desperate they’ll pay cam girls just to say their name. You can pretend you’re a special hot alpha guy above it all if you want

Very good point! That’s a big part of why social media always felt fake and never gave me the real validation rush. I already know I’m pretty, I don’t need likes from thirsty guys to tell me that 🤷‍♀️ Maybe girls who are less secure in their looks get bigger rushes out of having their pictures liked? I’d rather have my thoughts and ideas validated.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/20 02:57 AM

No they actively feel threatened and act antagonistic. I’ve seen it in person in bars with my boyfriend, especially when he catches the eye of a girl some other guy is trying unsuccessfully to chat up. The dude wants to fight him and be all rude when all he did was stand next to the girl at the bar 😆 like he was clearly with me and not even interested in her. But a hot taken guy gets more attention than a desperate single guy.

Men admire alphas who play into their bachelorhood fantasy, they loathe high value men (hot betas) and see them as gender traitors or cock blockers. No one is talking about weak, ugly men. We are discussing attractive men with relationship-oriented personalities who treat their women well.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/20 02:31 AM

Good for you! And I hear you on overusing anonymous media 😜 it has a different “drug” rush than validation based social media. There’s a power trip to hiding behind a screen. Different drugs appeal to different people, I suppose.

Men envy other men who are taller and more handsome than they are. And they really resent it when those hot men don’t live their fantasy of a bachelor with a rotating harem. They also resent the fact that taken hot men get more attention from single girls than they do even though they’re actually available lol. I’m referring to high value men, not unattractive betas. Men like to pretend they’re the same thing
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/20 02:14 AM

Yeah high value men (good looking betas) are rare, but they get the most respect and love from women. Men in their lives either love or hate (envy) them.

Women don’t see a handsome, loving husband or boyfriend as weak the way men do. And women are half of society. Unmarried straight male opinions are not representative of “society’s” opinions any longer.

We sure do, but women care more about the opinions of other women in society. And men don’t have their opinions and prerogatives propped up by the patriarchy any more, so now they barely matter. Women perceive high value men as betas in alphas bodies, male opinions on what makes men high value are irrelevant. And in closing, gamers rise up

Who is “society”? Other single men women don’t give a fuck about? Other women think a hot guy who acts like a beta is high value. Women care more about what other men think about their boyfriend’s value than what straight men think.

Vulnerability doesn’t just mean crying, it’s talking about the things that make you weak emotionally, your struggles and your origin story. Who doesn’t love a compelling origin story? You’re trying to cut out all risk because of fears and insecurities. We all have those fears, but there’s no such thing as a social interaction with 0 risk. Using “logic” to reinforce your negative feelings isn’t healthy or doing you any favors. Imagine a woman who is afraid to leave her house because 1 in 3 women get raped. She’s doing the logical thing to avoid all risk, but it’s not healthy for her. Obsessing about n count is the male version of obsessing about potential sexual assault.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/20 06:57 PM

Pretty much everyone and their mother wants that. You don’t need to hold weird regressive fundie beliefs to want that or admit you’re afraid of being heartbroken. We’re all afraid of that, no one wants to be used or rejected. Sluts included. We all want to eliminate risk to 0 while getting what we want, but that’s just not realistic.

You can disagree with Mother Nature all you want, but She will always win. Your value is determined the second your father’s sperm met your mother’s egg. Hot men don’t need marriage, marriage and the patriarchy were invented by beta males to prevent hot men from monopolizing female sexuality. The “scientific” literature is largely propagated by biased sources.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/20 06:38 PM

But I actually belong where I live and can share my views and have them agreed with and reinforced by the culture. If you wanted that you would have to go to Saudi Arabia or Russia. Sucks to be a conservative without any religion or community or anyone who agrees with you (outside of Reddit).

The men with options are choosing to settle down with women they have things in common with, hot extrovert slut ends up with hot extrovert slut.

I’d rather he have big shoulders and biceps. Man boobs unattractive to me. But tbh I don’t really pay much attention to a man’s chest. My boyfriend has nice muscular pecs, but it’s not the main thing that attracts me.

Uh what. Those men are just normal hot guys who get into committed relationships with normal hot girls. No one cares about n count because everyone has gotten around, no one’s insecure because everyone is confident in their attractiveness.

It means in a social species social capital and alliances determine value. It’s not about men and women, it’s human nature. Loners are generally viewed as less trustworthy and less valuable. A romantic partner indicates social value, it doesn’t matter if that partner is male or female or non binary. We trust people that other people trust, we respect people that other people respect.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/20 06:06 PM

That’s a very black and white way to view things. There’s no “letting” because men don’t own women and women are free to make their own sexual choices. Sluts commit to sluts, that’s not being a push over, that’s like going with like. Other men don’t have the same preoccupation with n count that you do, especially men that have lost count of their own bed post notches. In my opinion, a weak push over let’s their insecurities rule their decision making.

That’s a highly unrealistic expectation to have of people whose brains haven’t finished forming. Young men suffer from this the most, because testosterone increases risk taking behavior and the frontal lobe of the brain (the last part to finish developing around age 25) is responsible for evaluating risk and consequences.

There will always be bad actors looking to exploit the system. I agree we should make it harder for them to do so, and make it easier for good actors to succeed. The divorce court system could use a real reform

That’s totally fair. Could you respect someone who regrets their push over past and has since developed a spine and the ability to say no? Or is it a permanent black mark on their record? It should be, but it’s a grey area in our laws. If someone has to be “convinced” to have sex, then it’s not enthusiastic consent and should be rape. And if someone promises something (like a relationship) and then rescinds after sex, that should be a crime. But it’s not. Oh well.

I think the test is more about how committed he is to her, how strong their bond is, and whether he is strong enough to bounce back and regain “frame” after showing vulnerability. Ideally, if he passes the test, attraction might be slightly lowered but the emotional bond will be stronger than ever. But yeah if he is vulnerable and fails to show strength after, you’re right about the inevitable results.

Ok shout “sexist” at people until everyone shuts up and no discussion is had. People will keep thinking what they think, and nothing will actually change. You can call me a progressive sexist, if you want. I still find the traits of weak men unattractive and cringey, and always will. And your comparison is just silly. Wanting to be a basketball star is an active, positive fantasy that no one finds weird in either sex. Wanting to be saved is passive and pitiful, especially from the stronger sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/20 06:47 PM

I’m a progressive but I don’t believe in tit for tat equality or tabula rasa where everything is exactly the same. Men can express themselves equally, but they can’t do that and expect the same reaction that a woman would get. Free speech versus freedom from criticism. I want equal opportunity, not equal outcome.

It’s not society which created this, it’s biology. Of course the weaker sex which creates babies is going to be supported for being weak, because they are (physically) weak, and exceptionally valuable to the population. You can cry about it and blame society, but these forces of nature aren’t going anywhere. Bi men can have weaknesses, so long as they’re not looking to date cishet women. /r/PurplePillDebate01/12/20 06:21 PM

Sexism isn’t always “bad”, sometimes it just is. Yes, cishet men get less leeway for weakness in sexual relationships with cishet women. This is based in biology, cishet women are repelled by weakness in cishet men, because the whole point of a male partner is to protect and provide for the weaker partner that gets pregnant. The sexual dynamic between two women or two men is different, because they have the same reproductive investment and the same level of relative strength.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/20 06:17 PM
1

No. I’m a progressive but I do not think tabula rasa is accurate or a worthwhile ideal. Biology is more important than socialization, some aspects of traditionalism are rooted in reality that won’t ever go away. You’re free to fantasize about whatever you want, and other people are free to judge that.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/20 06:13 PM

No. Men and women are not the same and do not have the same sexuality. A woman wanting to be saved is heteronormative, a man wanting to be saved has something defective about him. Some fantasies are more cringeworthy than others. You can’t prevent other people from criticizing things they find lame or creepy. I’ll never outlaw the manic pixie dream girl, but you bet your ass I’m going to make fun of it and any men who enjoy it! It’s like furries or adult babies in diapers.

It’s a deeply unattractive fantasy for a straight man to have. This is a normal fantasy for women and gays, not for cishet men. The normal cishet male fantasy is saving the damsel in distress and proving themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/20 06:07 PM
2

It’s cringey and typically a fantasy of immature or low value men. High value men don’t want or need a woman to “fix their life”. Their lives are complete already because they worked hard to build them. Men shouldn’t rely on women to “pull them out of a bad place in life” that’s what therapists are for. This fantasy is simply nauseating from the perspective of someone who’s attracted to masculine, strong men.

Males seem to have a lot more variation in traits and mutations, for good and bad. It’s part of nature’s design, so that a potentially beneficial mutation can quickly disperse into the population’s gene pool. A fit mutant male could potentially pass that advantageous gene onto thousands of offspring.

Incorrect. The ability to store fat and gorge opportunistically is a good thing in our natural hunter/gatherer state where we live in states of feast or famine. There’s a reason we have the instincts to overeat, they were advantageous for most of our evolutionary history. The cavemen who didn’t eat all the food available to them did not survive to procreate. That’s something I’m jealous men have, objective measures for their attractiveness and a guarantee that sexual attractiveness will correlate with relationship success. Your points were so dumb. The fact that anime artists intentionally give children secondary sexual characteristics is gross, first off. Why are all the shows about children, and why are the children drawn with adult bodies? Height is not a metric for female maturity, since growth stops when menstruation starts (often during childhood). The face and body ratios are what measures female age. And that’s why it’s creepy and uncanny valley to have a little girl’s face on a grown woman’s body, but tha…

No one can choose to be straight, but people can choose their actions. Male thirst is strong and blinding, men basically lose their sexual orientation after enough time without sex. There sure is a lot more homosexual sex in male prisons than female prisons..I wonder why?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/20 05:40 PM
1

No, I suggested removing polygamous instincts and the instincts for indiscriminate arousal. Testosterone is much more than that, thankfully. Men can keep the other useful and arousing side effects of testosterone
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/20 05:37 PM
2

Believing male sexuality is more adaptable because of thirst and testosterone is not homophobia. Homophobia is believing that homosexuality is wrong, but I think it’s completely right, especially for males that were always meant to be selected out of the gene pool.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/20 05:36 PM
3

Women select for good looking men with signs of high testosterone, there’s nothing wrong with that. I don’t have any problems currently, but when I was dating my problems were with the inconsistencies in male romantic behavior, that men will fuck women they won’t commit to. Changing that one thing would be a net positive for women
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/20 05:34 PM
0

No. If he could organically attract those women, then his genes would be good because his sons would inherit the attractive phenotype and repeat the process. The ability to enslave weaker individuals is not a strength, all men can theoretically do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/20 05:32 PM
3

It would improve women’s lives and make dating more harmonious. Women being sexual selectors isn’t a problem that needs to be fixed
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/20 05:29 PM
2

No, it wouldn’t be worse. That’s how bad a relationship with a mediocre man you’re not attracted to is. Women would rather struggle with the drama of another woman
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/20 05:25 PM
2

Sure, but none of that would make a difference in the hypothetical we were considering. If the options are raise the kids alone or be with another woman, they’re gonna sign up for the drama to have the intimacy, support, co parenting, and financial assistance a relationship brings. Also, I could imagine related females cohabitating to raise kids. Sisters or cousins or best friends.

No, it absolutely wouldn’t be valuable. If he was capable of directly enslaving other men, maybe. But all men are stronger than women, so it doesn’t take a very fit male to overpower and enslave someone weaker than they are. A fit male would beat out the competition and have females flocking to him of their own free will.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/20 05:14 PM
3

Compared to men they sure are. As long as women have children or pets and a sense of family, they can manage without sex and love from men. Not to mention more women are bi curious and willing to be intimate with other women. It also gets easier with age.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/20 05:13 PM
3

Yes. Women are ok with being single or cohabitating with each other, can mother their children together and form little family units. Also, don’t be so dramatic. More than 2% of men are truly loved, it’s at least 20-30%. Plus.. is being loved by a being which loves indiscriminately actually truly being loved? If men loved like women their love would have more value.

Women can be picky because men are indiscriminate. Make it so that men can only get boners for the women they’d be willing to marry and women might lower their standards, or else stay single and not used for sex/heartbroken.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/20 04:59 PM

Nope. Females are picky because of physical weakness and how much of an investment pregnancy and birth are. I’ve only ever complained about men having sex with women they wouldn’t commit to, and men cheating. Get rid of those issues and we’re cool

I would make women more physically strong, shorten the length of pregnancy, get rid of menopause, and make childbirth easier 🙂 Hypergamy exists because women are weaker and have a higher reproductive investment. Get rid of those two factors

Women are instinctively attracted to cads, casanovas, and warlords Aka hot guys. Women want attractive phenotypes and good genes, firstly. Preselection is a litmus test or a proxy for the existence of those good genes. The proxy is not more important and did not create the selection pressure for polygamy. High testosterone men will always have a sex drive that no one woman can satisfy Testosterone creates the desire for sexual variety in our species, but it doesn’t trigger the same behavioral in…

I find the feature to be buggy and I would gladly delete it from the Y chromosome. Equilibrium between love and sex will lead to stasis. Maybe so. But there could still be a place for males to compete for mates, they’d just be lifelong monogamous and limited to one high quality female. Male mate choice would actually matter, for once. The gene pool would still improve, albeit at a slower rate than with polygamy.

I’m with wtknight on this one. The biggest fix would be for sexual attraction and romantic love to only occur simultaneously and be interchangeable. No hate fucks, no using people for sex, no friends with benefits, no buying or selling sex, no dead bedrooms. The problem is that men are capable of being aroused by people they are not romantically interested in and could never love, if that bug in male nature was fixed everything else would smooth out. My point is that paternal behavior is not a turn off in that sort of dynamic. But it is a big turn off when the sexes are reversed. It’s unnatural to expect women to be attracted to neoteny. Women tend to have a strict dichotomous switch between lovers and children, while men typically don’t. The desire to protect and the desire to have sex with are not at all opposite for men. The real red pill for women is that male sexual attention is meaningless or worse than meaningless, harmful and predatory. Sexual intimacy will not lead to commitment or create bonds with men, like it will with other women. Only sunk cost and fear of losing to the competition bonds a man romantically to a woman. Looksmatch cannot exist in a sexually dimorphic species. The traits that make women attractive are not the traits that make men attractive, and vice versa. Short guys and fat girls are smv matched. A 5’3 woman could be the match of a 6 foot guy, because of sexual dimorphism. A 5’8 man will always be less attractive than a 5’8 woman. Is the 5’3 woman pretty young or not fat? Then she’s the desirability match of a tall men. Short and bald guys are looksmatched with older women and single mothers.

A very realistic fantasy that gets acted out daily. The male impulse to protect and sacrifice for female life is strong, because the male psyche sees every unclaimed female as a potential mate. White knighting exists for a reason. Not to mention female in group selection is strong, and mob mentality rules. A group of females with a mob of white knights up against one man “taking what he wants”? That’s no contest.

Men can get affection and companionship from each other and from their families and pets. When they say that’s not enough then it’s obviously about sex, because that’s the only thing they can’t get from interaction with other men. If other men don’t provide enough companionship, then that says male relationships are lacking and men should work to be better friends to each other. No one is entitled to companionship, because it requires the consent of all parties.

Sometimes the male chimp decides the juice isn't with the squeeze, that the trouble of fighting several female chimps isn't worth it. Sometimes he decides it is worth it and massacres them. Still the males choice That’s the females forcing him into that choice. A single male can’t massacre multiple females, female chimps are stronger than even male humans, keep that in mind.

Only brainwashed children and the religious (same thing, really) are honest for honesty’s sake, because they can’t make cost-benefit conclusions and have limited understanding of risk. An adult will lie or tell the truth based on what makes the most sense, based on perceived risk.

When was the last time you read an anthropology book or watched a nature documentary? then kindly asked the woman for sex and if she said no they just shrugged and walked away is nonsense Except this can be observed happening in many other tournament species, like lions, horses, deer and birds. The female has the last say, after the males finish competing. This has been observed in our closest relatives, the chimpanzee. If a lead male is challenged and defeated, the females of the troop might st…

Tall guys like that women find height attractive, girls with big boobs like that men find big boobs attractive, men with money like that women find money attractive. If you have a celebrated trait, you don’t mind that trait being celebrated.

Good arguments for women to continue to lie 👍 “I like you for your personality, not your height. Of course I’d still date you if you were shorter or lost your hair” lol “I’ve only had a few boyfriends”. You’re incentivizing the behavior you claim to find disgusting, good job.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/20 05:52 PM

Adults make cost-benefit analyses. If you want people to be honest with you, you have to incentivize honesty. Otherwise, adults will choose to lie, because it has the most benefits with the fewest costs.

Socialization in a close-knit interrelated tribal group is more complicated than might makes right, it’s more like whoever is best at cooperation and maintaining alliances has the power. Might makes right became more of a thing with the agricultural revolution, when property ownership arose and unrelated individuals came in contact much more often.

You seem to have a lot of problem with it, judging by your comments and all the anger and “disgust” you’re putting out there. It’s those reactions that keep women hamstering and providing white lies. If you want women to be honest, you gotta support hypergamy.

Most rugby players are hot, deal with it. Sure there are some that look like potatoes, but most of them are tall built Chads in tight shorts. Rugby involves a lot more running than football, so the players don’t have the big bellies. And have you seen Muay Thai fighters? Abs for days! Too bad so many of them are Asian and short. Men that are good at hunting would also be leaders of men, leaders of tribes. Hunter bodies are better looking than fighter bodies, for the most part.

Nothing needs to be fixed, this is natural selection at work. Men just need to cope better with reality instead of throwing temper tantrums, those temper tantrums only further convince women that white lies are necessary
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/20 05:31 PM

Women are more selective than men because their decisions matter more to the population. Males are disposable, there’s very little selection pressure on male mate choice

Rugby is a contact sport and all those players are Chads. Ball games are proxies for hunting behaviors, so good ball players would also be good hunters in a tribal setting.

I’ve found the men most angry about women liking tall men are slightly above average height men who just don’t make the cut. 5’7 to 5’10. And guys that are balding seem more angry than guys that are proudly bald and shaved it off. So I have a fairly accurate mental image going. Do you care about men’s bestial shallowness regarding age and n count? Oh of course not, because you have those same shallow standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/20 05:26 PM

“Pretty” faces are faces with good harmonious ratios, this indicates healthy immune systems which make them less susceptible to disease. Good looks also correlate with intelligence. Athletes are some of the hottest men, have you seen Tom Brady? His genes are exceptional.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/20 05:23 PM

What makes men “pretty” to women are traits that would make them winners among other men. Height, muscularity, social dominance, testosterone, good nutrition. Sickly small men with hair falling out did not lead tribal hunts or raids and they were not selected for by women. It’s possible to limit yourself to one person you’re strongly sexually attracted to, that’s the ideal and the end result of the female imperative.

Pretty faces are the result of good genes, there’s no such thing as “perfect” in nature. Females are always the sexual selectors and will always be so, until the Y chromosome disappears entirely, as in the whiptail lizard.

Ignoring your natural instincts to sort genetic winners from losers is not moral. The male imperative and its servant Abrahamic religion is not the arbiter of morality.

All animals have a self preservation instinct, but ego requires more brain processing power and self awareness. So they’re separate but related. I don’t see the hypocrisy. I’m telling you it’s NOT about ego, that’s male projection. It all comes back to self preservation, a woman’s social standing, social alliances, and overall likability is her armor. Women can’t protect themselves physically, so they protect themselves socially. A man can afford to be a disliked social pariah because he can physically defend himself, a woman cannot. Women want legal equality, not societal sameness. Women cannot afford to behave “equally” while men are so much stronger, that’s how…

I don’t think anyone should be called out for being “shallow”. I think appearance accurately reflects genetic quality, it makes sense for everyone to want attractive people and to treat attractive people better. There’s nothing immoral about natural sexual selection. Abrahamic morals are not objective truth
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/20 04:50 PM
3

Yeah basically. Men forced women onto the pedestal of fake male centric “virtue” and then men hate us for falling off the pedestal they made. Basically they hate actual female nature and female sexuality, and they resent that the pedestal and behavioral framework for femininity they built was always artificial.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/20 04:45 PM
2

If men could handle women being honest about their sexuality, they wouldn’t need to lie for self preservation. But looking at the angry violent reactions of black pillers, I think women made the wise choice. The above poster is mischaracterizing women’s motivation, it’s not to trap naive betas, it’s to avoid getting killed by angry betas.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/20 04:42 PM

No, men forced women into appearing “non shallow” because female sexuality was oppressed and the Madonna-whore complex was culturally codified. Women that failed to repress their sexual drives were burned as witches, given lobotomies, diagnosed “hysterical”, or forced into prostitution.

AMALT, all men are stupid horn dogs. I bet women initially tried motivating their husbands to do housework with truthful logical reasoning “this will make me happy and make our lives easier and less stressful”. But men don’t care about that, that doesn’t motivate them into action. “This will make me want to have sex with you” works far better.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/20 05:28 PM
1

I’m sure women started with other adjectives and found them to be ineffective at inciting male action, but the word “sexy” catches male attention and motivates them more than anything else. A guy will do anything if he thinks it will increase his chances for sex, but not for his loved one’s happiness, or for the common good, or because it’s the right thing to do. No, if you want men to jump to action there has to be sex mentioned.

Dark eye makeup actually enhances masculinity and makes the wearer appear dangerous or mysterious. It’s why men hate heavy dark eye shadow and eyeliner, but women love it. Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones rocks the masculine makeup and it makes him look even scarier and hotter

Maybe they don’t loathe the individual man they’re choosing to date? Sexuality isn’t a choice, and men are more useful as partners than women.
