Well I think that the officer wasn't very very wrong. Admittedly he could have handled it better, but that isn't always an option. I'm intrigued to see how the court case goes, but she did seem to fall herself and smash her face in, as the wall she was leaning on seemed to be propping her up, althought the officer should have probably grabbed her to stop it, as she wasn't a threat, but suppose in the heat of the moment they don't know that and they can't grab people without being sued for stuff …

Yep, saw that on a repost of this further down. But it is still her fault tbh. They said she was being detained, which doesn't mean arrest, and were trying to look into it, then she tried to leave, which is resisting. If police are asking you questions, and you are a suspect in a crime, then you answer the best you can without incriminating yourself. Not necessarily. He should have uninstalled it, then smashed it. She COULD claim she needs him to clean the vehicle now due to the broken glass and he'd have to pay. Although honestly if she is trying to rip him off she can't afford or wouldn't want to go to court.

Any links on the outcome? I'm intrigued now. But that was why they said initially she was detained as they were trying to assess the facts. She then tried to leave, which is why she ended up in cuffs

break their nose I'm not even convinced this is it. She's not dripping enough blood for it to be broken when they move her to a sitting position. PRobably just a light nosebleed from face meeting concrete. I bled more as a kid from picking my nose

UK here and yep, but this policeman was calm and probably did the best. She was potentially too drunk to make it down the stairs on her own, though personally I'd have spent more time securing her while standing before then putting her down and cuffing her. But they have to make judgement calls in these situations and I think the cop handled it well for what it was

No you can't, and I'd love to know why you think it is. It could be just a busted blood vessel which looks worse than it is. I've bled more from picking my nose when I was a kid, but the time down there and smearing makes it look worse. When she is being dragged into a sitting position you can see it isn't flowing freely but is dripping (look at the floor. 3 drops as they turn her into a different direction? That is a nose bleed from face meeting concrete, not necessarily broken)

I wish they were less aggressive in general How can he be less aggressive? He was using a calm tone, said she is not able to leave, but she tried to anyway. So he then had to use physical force to restrain her, and even then you could she he was trying to be gentle. She was being detained by police, not then arrested, and should have complied
