| 0 | Q4W: How would you vet another woman if you were looking for one to date?Rubbish. Every woman who has been really into me has insisted to pay. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/07/26 11:55 AM |
| -2 | Believing a 50/50 man will step up later isn’t just naive - it’s riskyThis has nothing to do with equality and fairness then. Fairness needs to take into context and needs to incorporate mutual kindness and care. This is also why I find it odd when people say they pay for the first few dates and then it goes to 50-50 as the relationship progresses. For me it's always the other way around. If you are a stranger then it's 50-50. We are equal. We both want to get to know each other. We invest money and time equally to do that. But as we get to know each other other f… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/07/26 01:06 PM |
| 4 | Believing a 50/50 man will step up later isn’t just naive - it’s risky50-50 doesn't mean mathematical equality in a strict sense. And if that's what it means most people who talk about equality are not talking about it. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/07/26 12:55 PM |

| – | Life as a woman in west is so much easierAh, what's this rhetorical technique called? It's an interesting one. It's like the truism in the second half of your sentence is attempting to mask the assumption in the first half and give credibility to it? Very good. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/07/26 10:37 PM |

| 2 | Men not wanting to pay for the date indicates lack of interest and low aggreeablenessAdmittedly I live in Europe. Boy the US must be pretty messed up if women paying their share is equated to having low self esteem or incredible wealth. In Europe it's just called being an adult. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/06/26 10:37 PM |

| 1 | Men not wanting to pay for the date indicates lack of interest and low aggreeablenessI don't impress women by paying for thing. I impress them by being funny and interesting and kind and lots of other things. They also need to impress me. Wanting me to feed them (or being impressed by that) is one easy way for them not to impress me. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/06/26 02:27 PM |
| 6 | Men not wanting to pay for the date indicates lack of interest and low aggreeablenessDepends on what you mean by quickly. It's easy to figure out who isn't for you relatively easily, but not who is. I still stand by the claim that anyone who expects me to jump through hoops for them is not for me. I think you demonstrated that by saying you put way way more effort for this person. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/06/26 02:24 PM |
| 12 | Men not wanting to pay for the date indicates lack of interest and low aggreeablenessNope. Zero correlation. Better chance they will be a partner that will pay for your meals though. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/06/26 02:20 PM |

| 15 | Men not wanting to pay for the date indicates lack of interest and low aggreeablenessNope. My dream girl wouldn't expect me to pay. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/06/26 01:28 PM |
| 15 | Men not wanting to pay for the date indicates lack of interest and low aggreeablenessBecause your priority isn't to get fed for free but to meet a good partner. Or maybe it isn't. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/06/26 01:26 PM |
| 19 | Men not wanting to pay for the date indicates lack of interest and low aggreeablenessSure. | 1 | Sex isn’t special.I never said I was socially isolated. I said it more difficult for men than it is for women to make new friends. Specially if you are a man who doesn't like your stereotypical male activities. That doesn't mean what shouldn't try. But the challenges are real. Because women are less receptive to befriending you than befriending other women, and men are generally not big on befriending you either because they are generally less social and typically don't befriend you unless they "get something out… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/06/26 10:46 AM |

| 1 | men DO care about a woman’s incomeI have to admit I didn't read your essay, but to answer your question, yes I do. Don't have to earn as much as me, but I want to know my life style/finances are staying at least the same rather than negatively affected by the relationship. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 20/06/26 12:18 AM |

| 1 | How many of you are actively dating? Why or why not?I mean I definitely am not. They look like children to me. Anyway that's not the point. The point is once I have a partner and love them I don't care how many young beautiful women are around. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/06/26 10:05 PM |

| 4 | How many of you are actively dating? Why or why not? Most men are not like this. We get attached to and love the person. Not being able to grow old with someone I love and who loves me is one of the things that pains me most about not having someone. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/06/26 06:10 PM |
| 1 | Women who call themselves "baddie" are just as cringe, if not more cringe, than men who call themselves "alpha".Is this really true though? Maybe a small subset of men. But there are also as women who see any sort of disagreement as criticism and get very upset. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/06/26 10:35 AM |
| 5 | Women who call themselves "baddie" are just as cringe, if not more cringe, than men who call themselves "alpha".Why would I want conflict for the sake of conflict? And there are different ways of dealing with disagreement. One involves trying to understand each other and find common ground and where not, agreeable compromise. The other involves straw-maning, gaslighting and other power plays and manipulative strategies. Why would I want the latter? There are genuine life difficulties that I have to deal with. Why would I want to invite someone who manufactures them or gets in the way of dealing with them … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/06/26 10:16 AM |

| 1 | I find it EXTREMELY hard to sympathize with most of women's dating woes.I agree. They both end up resulting in wasted time. Except that as a man I have the option of condensing my wasted time into a shorter span of time by putting in more effort. What I mean is all my time/effort is generally front loaded. I.e. getting the date. Once a woman comes on a date with me I know that she likes me a fair bit and once there is a second or third date I know I can pretty much take it the direction I choose. | 0 | Men who lead others on without even sleeping with themYou don't fuck for validation when you are in a relationship. Fucking for validation when you are outside a relationship is in my view also a self esteem issue. If you need to flirt to feel good about yourself there is a self esteem issue there. | 1 | Men don’t have low standards; women are just hotter than themBut your post proves the point. Women only think 1/20 guys are attractive. Whereas a much lower standard applies to women. They just need to be young enough. Take your average brother or sister, same genetics. The guy struggles. It's because we expect more from men in terms of attractiveness before they can be considered attractive. Which is a pretty expected outcome of natural / sexual selection when a single man gets impregnate an unlimited number of women. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/08/25 05:20 PM |

| 1 | CMV: Men shouldn't be preoccupied with spreading their genes or sowing their oats. It seems weird and grotesque to me.Fair observation. But we are not talking about procreation only here. We are talking about the care / bond for the off spring and the desire to expend resources for it. | 3 | Why does it seem like women's hookup standards are higher than relationship standards?Exactly. Not weird at all. Women don't value hook ups as much as men. Men's hookup standards are lower than relationship standards. You have basic supply demand situation with lot of supply from male side. Less demand on women's side. So it means woman can demand a higher price for hookup in terms of attractiveness of partner. Add to that the fact the in hookup the same guy can sleep with a lot of women at the same time, you have a high supply of very attractive options for women. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 02/12/24 07:35 PM |

| 15 | Q4W: What do you think about the idea that monogamy benefits men and polygamy benefits women? It doesn't benefit men either. It benefits a very small subset of men. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 28/05/24 06:26 PM |

Sounds like you are saying progressives either don't let the other side talk or they run away. Why can't they allow the other to talk but push back with thoughtful criticism? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/05/24 09:22 AM |

| 9 | A more comprehensive post on why women handle being alone better than men, and why we need to find solutions to that.It is much much harder to make friends as a man. Whether that's with other men or other women. People are wary of strange men in a way they are not of strange women. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/04/24 06:09 PM |
| 0 | “Women lose value as they get older”Pointless generalisation. Some people like their own age group. Some like older. I have met plenty of women who only date between 1 and 10 years older than them. | /r/ExRedPill | 28/10/23 05:08 PM |
| 3 | “Women lose value as they get older”Submissive is not the other side.of the coin to critical. Accepting is. No one likes to be in a relationship with someone who always criticises them. It is unhealthy. | /r/ExRedPill | 28/10/23 05:07 PM |
| 1 | "Insecure" and "Controlling" are the new buzzwords used to shame men's standards and gaslight them into believing normal boundaries are toxic. CMV.He sort of framed some things one way and some another though. So for first few he said "don't won't partner who ....", which is fine because that's about him choosing the partner. The rest he framed as "Don't want your partner to ....", which sounds like he isn't leaving his partner, he is telling them what to do. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/09/23 08:36 AM |
| 1 | "Insecure" and "Controlling" are the new buzzwords used to shame men's standards and gaslight them into believing normal boundaries are toxic. CMV.That's just such a sad way to look at it. If what they are doing is not in itself a line cross, then to control what your partner does because you are afraid of a line cross is just weak. You are there to add to each others' life not take away from it. I just chose people I can trust and like. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/09/23 08:25 AM |

| 1 | Do women really want to date older men?40 here. Came out of a very very long term relationship last year with a 4 year age gap. Most women I have dated since have been 4-12 years younger. Youngest has been 14 years, and that was definitely not ideal for me. But I am like 10 years behind mental development of people my age so ... Ps, definitely not wealthy. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/09/23 01:19 PM |
| 0 | Do you think it’s true that dating gets easier for men and harder for women in their 30s?Gets harder for both, but gets more harder for women, but it is still harder for men. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 22/09/23 11:16 AM |
| 5 | CMV : A lot of men feel like a date went really well when it didn’t. They made a friend. This is not true. I don't know why people keep spreading this crap that every guy just sleeps with anyone they can get. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/09/23 10:34 PM |
| 1 | CMV: Women have nothing to gain from dating men, but everything to loseMaybe some straight women do. But the vast majority don't find other women attractive. And many who find both attractive describe their attraction to men in a different way. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/09/23 02:19 PM |
| 2 | CMV: Women have nothing to gain from dating men, but everything to loseUm. Firstly the sexual reproduction is hundreds of millions of years old and has nothing to do with women needing men to survive. Attraction is your genes way of ensuring you take part in sexual reproduction. You can't decision that away. Even if it did have to do with protection etc, uou can't choose millions of years of evolution encoded in your DNA away, simply because you can buy sperm and no longer need to be protected against tigers. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/09/23 12:16 PM |

| – | Getting sex isn't an accomplishment, or something to be ashamed ofNot only that. Reproducing is bad for you as an individual, objectively. It is your genes which profit. And your genes are really parasitic in that sense using your body/mind as the vessel for them to replicate. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/09/23 05:38 PM |
| – | Getting sex isn't an accomplishment, or something to be ashamed ofYeah. Agree. It's a combination of both. But for me once the need for validation went away, then the shine really came off, and I also started really appreciating how much better sex with someone you are emotionally involved with is than with a stranger. Whereas before I just wanted novelty. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/09/23 03:42 PM |
| – | Getting sex isn't an accomplishment, or something to be ashamed ofWell I wouldn't be me then. So it is sort of not a question that I can meaningfully answer. I would say experiencing casual sex for a period was necessary for me to no longer see it as a goal. But there are also so many guys who never see it as a goal to begin with. One thing I can tell you for sure is that once I managed to separate my self worth from my ability to have sex, then the news to have casual sex plummeted. So much of the desire, at least for me, seemed to have been about validation. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/09/23 03:36 PM |

| 1 | Getting sex isn't an accomplishment, or something to be ashamed ofThere are so many benefits to having money other than women. Sure a little of the shine would be worn off, but the majority would remain. I am not rich and I could have casual sex if I wanted to, but I don't, because I have better / more enjoyable things to do with my time than have sex with a random stranger. That would have sounded crazy to me even 5 years ago, but it is the absolute truth. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/09/23 09:21 PM |
| 2 | If you're struggling in dating you only have yourself to blameIt results in not suffering unnecessarily. The point is not that you will achieve a specific external result, but that you are content in knowing that you did what you could have. | 1 | Getting sex isn't an accomplishment, or something to be ashamed ofI see why you would say that but it is not equivalent. But maybe you do need to have the ability to have sex easily, t least for a while, to stop putting it on a pedestal. Once you do, then you realise there are more enjoyable / important things in life. Money on the other hand you will never stop appreciating. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/09/23 08:53 PM |

| – | [Q4All]What are your thoughts on the idea of “The one that got away”?I don't know man. I just think it's more to do with women being able to only really love one person at a time. So once the new guy comes in, you are history, unless you have left such a mark that she can never really love the new guy | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/09/23 05:45 PM |
| 5 | If some young men are genuinely struggling with dating compared to women like them and compared to more attractive men, is that a matter of inequity or inequality? You are wrong about circularity. He or she is right about linearity. It would be circular if equality then used inequity in its definition. Which it doesn't. He or she is wrong about your definition being proved wrong by the dictionary. Your definition is consistent with it. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 13/09/23 06:01 PM |

| – | Personality does not matter to women as much as everyone tells youI friend zone women all the time. I have made quite a few friends from Hinge over the last year. And I was the one who suggested friendship to all of them. Women take it a lot better than men do I think. Even when they like you, they seem to be very easily capable of putting you into the friend role once you are very clear about that being all you want. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/09/23 05:33 PM |

| 1 | Men's complaints about the state of dating all come down to this one inconvenient truth...When I have this mindset all I get is disinterest. When I don't care about reading the room or what others things and just enjoy myself (while being mindful of boundaries), then once in a while someone gets interested. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/09/23 09:39 AM |

The whole “neckbeard wants supermodel” narrative is fictional projection.Sorry, are you talking about ratings of men or ratings by men? The studies that have looked at this show that men are generally fairly reasonable in the way they rate women, and the ratings generally fall on a nice bell curve as you expect. It's the women rating men who seem to get it all wrong and have very high standards. Anyway 8 is a very high rating, but there are plenty of women walking around who are as attractive as her.
