Good morning. I went through the same thing. I saved all the lawyer fees by using Chat GPT to prepare all the docs and understand the divorce process. Once I got all of that outlined using chat gpt I hired a divorce lawyer to review the paperwork, tell me what other forms I needed and to help me file them properly. Highly highly recommend. Divorce is hard enough without the lawyers taking you for your entire life savings. Good luck!

Yeah I'm with you, no appetite for it and honestly after divorce and betrayal it's a relief just to focus on yourself for awhile. Build yourself up 10X stronger and you'll attract the right people naturally over time.

It's a brutal slow realization, but after a year, you'll be glad to be rid of her. And relationships that start as affairs are built on sand and crumble quickly. Focus on yourself. Let her crash and burn as she watches you rebuild yourself. Be patient with yourself. It comes in waves.

This is the alpha. My ex did this to me and instead of letting her deliberate attempts to trigger me or cause drama (which is what narcassists feed on), I shook his hand and asked about his kids, how they were doing in sports and made it clear how unbothered I was by the whole thing. Silence is power. Let them rot each other out and when it all blows up (cheaters will cheat on each other as soon as it's convenient), I'll be on an amazing vacation with my kids and a girlfriend I'm actually attrac…

Yeah same here, but the time we do spend together is MUCH higher quality, and without her around my relationship with the kids is 100% better. And long term that's all that matters.

Life is too short to be miserable, and if you're bored and depressed, it's worth considering. One way to think about it is if you're able to show up as the best version of yourself for your kids or not with her, or would you be happier with them if you had a separate life, one that was your own? That was what helped me put it in perspective, and never been happier with my kids than when we're able to spend time separate from what was a toxic environment. Neither of you are doing favors for your …

Uncontested, chat gpt helped me with mediation and navigating it all. Definitely not for complex divorce cases but a great tool for anyone going through this imo

I used Chat GPT to do 80% of the legal work, saved like $25K in ridiculous legal fees from greedy attorneys and had a lawyer sign off on all the paperwork with the court. Highly recommend.

Similar situation here. My advice is to focus on yourself, make yourself the best version you can, go to the gym, find new hobbies, go out of your comfort zone and do new things. The kids will remember how you showed up for them.

Oh man, that's pretty recent. Make sure and give yourself some space and time with no pressure. The grief comes in waves and the tough mental moments can be intense, just remember that they'll pass and it's part of the process of healing. Remember to focus on yourself, and that what you focus on multiplies. You can't control anything beyond moving forward one day at a time, and if you're revisiting the bible maybe lean into that and rediscover more parts of who you were "before this". One way to…

Similar situation here, I'd say just focus on the kids. And you don't want to find someone that wants to be in a relationship with you, you want to become the type of man that women want to be in a relationship with. They will chase you. What helped me was trying new things, exploring new hobbies and all the shit you were passionate about before your ex. The right people will show up but put yourself in the places you actually want to meet them (Libraries & yoga classes, solo trips by yourself, …

The Botox and Wegovy injections made my ex look like the vampire she was all along.

Let them band together and fuck each other over like the selfish narcissists that they are. Best to focus on yourself and watch them all implode as you free yourself from the fake "friends" that stick by the cheater's side for their own convenience.

Sounds like you've been through a lot. Similar story here. I'd recommend focusing on yourself - once you get to the other side of the divorce it's tempting to jump into the apps, but I've found more luck just focusing on stuff I like to do and meeting whoever happens to be there. Making friends. New connections. Rediscovering who I was and the things I loved before my ex. Sober here as well (5 years), which makes the typical bars and nightlife stuff pretty lame, but still good to go out and just…

Man, I hear the frustration loud and clear. You’ve got a clean break in mind, but the house is anchoring you down — emotionally and financially. That’s heavy. First off, good on you for talking to a lawyer. Keep doing that — you need to protect your future credit and financial freedom. Your instinct is right: staying on a mortgage for a house you don’t live in (or want) is a ticking time bomb, even if she’s financially stable now. The mortgage assumption route is painful, yeah — but it’s probabl…

There are few incentives left for men to marry again after going through a divorce and realizing how out of balance marriage puts everything.

Hey man, I just wanted to say I’m really sorry you’re carrying this weight alone tonight. What you’re feeling makes sense — that date, that loss, it stays with you because it mattered. It sounds like a part of you wonders if she remembers, if it meant something to her too, and whether that story is just gone now that she’s moved on and has a new child. I can’t say what’s in her heart, but I can see what’s in yours — you’re grieving a child that never got to be, and the version of life you though…

I went through a divorce last year and apart from a $350/hour mediation therapist there were very few resources for men. I was in a very dark place and started using Chat GPT to help me navigate the divorce process and honestly it saved me not only $25K in legal fees but also ended up being the most therapeutic solution to talk about what was going on. I ended up turning it into a web app (alice anonymous dot ai) that's a divorce and mediation resource. It's free to use and anonymous so you can …

Man, I really feel for you. What you’re describing sounds so frustrating and unfair. It’s like you’re doing your best to stay composed and follow your lawyer’s advice, while the other side throws every false accusation they can think of, and no one stops to question it. I get why you’re angry — anyone would be. And that helplessness, where it feels like you don’t even get a chance to defend yourself, can be soul-crushing. It’s tempting to blast it all out on social media, like TikTok, but I’d ur…
