Yes, I saw that. I was reading about it, just edited my comment to fix it. Also, here's another interesting statement by him Musk said that they could currently achieve a coast-to-coast drive, but they would have to create custom code to “game” a route instead of a general level 4 or 5 autonomous system. If that's the case it's probably just finalizing things, and making it user-friendly and all.

After reading about it some more, apparently Tesla chose to rebuild it's autopilot on architecture powered by its own 'neural net' and 'computer vision technology.' They said it was more complicated than they expected, but now it's in the 'final testing phase', and they're planning a demonstration of full autopilot in around 3-6 months, so we'll see.

Most people don't understand is, yes, in rare situations a self-driving car may crash. The thing is, humans will crash way way more often than self-driving cars, imagine if there was a story story in the news each time a human crashed a car. Self-driving cars are much safer than humans, they don't drive when they're tired, or drunk, and they're probably a lot smarter than most drivers.

Yeah that's what I was saying in my first post, the label is unfairly biased towards men. If it was a 14 year old girl and a man, the guy would universally called a rapist, and probably killed. Legally, a 14 year old cannot consent, so yes, under the law it would be considered rape.

Well that's a different scenario than the law was created for. Imagine a somewhat sober guy came along and saw you were heavily drunk, then he dragged you to a room, then had sex with you. Most people would consider that taking advantage of you. It's hard to just judge every situation, if the guy was heavily drunk too, and you both consented, then most wouldn't consider that rape, but according to the law it is, which is the problem.

I like how your first statement becomes completely nil after your second statement, obviously if people don't use condoms and have sex with someone who has an STD they'll get an STD, you'd have to be pretty dumb to not understand that.
