Living alone sucks major balls. Been going through the same these past few months. If you want to start socializing it's best if you join a club/community type thing where there is a lot of human interactions. Taking some special classes in dance or yoga might land you with some healthy people. And the best advice, earn loads of money.

You can suggest that you can show her around town, as you both are in a project that escalates your chances with her, you can hype up some famous restaurants or food items and convince her that it's a must have, compliment her during the first few moments you guys meet but not in the middle of group of people, flirt a little and especially go with her flow.
