It might be true in reality but I think it is an toxic mindset to have and make you hate the world more. Ironically, make you more bitter in the end. It is better if everyone tried to make the "dating sphere" work more akin to how it would in a "just world". The dating sphere in the so called "non entitled" world sounds cruel and looks like a "dog eat dog" world. Maybe, I am just a sentimental fool but I prefer the former.

From what I gather, women don't tend to take online dating seriously. Nearly all of the women in my social circle. Almost none of the women meet their bfs through online dating but through real life. So, it is not the end of the world.

One thing that drives me crazy is that people pretend that romantic rejection is not ''personal''. More than often, it is. Realizing it will us to deal with it better. Otherwise, it feels like copium to me.

Yes, that is the point. There was no simply getting a woman because he was a man. He had to prove himself in different ways. Man always had proved themselves in different ways rather than getting a woman by the virtue of being a man. Individual freedom is not end and be all, men and women had lived with social pressures in different ways throughout history.

This is way too much of a cynical picture. Men in the past had to seek the approval of a woman's family and his family before he would be able to marry the woman he wanted. Men had to prove themselves in different ways. He didn't get to marry a woman because he was simply he was a man. He had to prove his worth as a man in his society.

Because texting is seen as an extension of a real-life conversation. If someone talked to you directly in real life, you wouldn't really ignore them like that. So, hence, it is seen as a negative. But, I think it is fine people you just met.

They didn't really happen on a historical level but at least not as the go-to standard. Because marriages in the past were much more communal affairs. The man needed the approval of her family and his family. He had to be successful in many arenas unless there was pressure from both families out of desperation.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
