This happens to me alot at work. When there's a big meeting or a big customer in the office, they either invite me to the meeting or i have to bring in snacks or lunch or coffee. I don't mind it, my boss once explained to me that we all bring things to work that make the company better. Sometimes in the meetings i feel bad because i am not all together familiar with the subject, but i look at it as an opportunity to learn more about the company and the customer!

I don't know about more selective, but ive definitely noticed a lot more of the little things that men do to present themselves better. I was always into fit and strong guys. But now i really notice and appreciate when a man puts in a lot of time for his overall look, haircut, cologne, haircut and grooming. I think how a man takes care of his body and appearance is really indicative of how he manages himself and will lead his family. I would have thought it was nice before, but now when i think …

Well i certainly admire your work ethic, and it sounds like you have it all worked out. Good luck to you and your art career and family!

we don't know each other, so if this comes across as too harsh, i apologize. i don't mean it to be, i promise. i see so many red flags in your original comment and your reply (and frankly your posting history). he makes 5x as much as you, and you're worried about "only" owning 1/3 the house he works harder and more hours than you, you get to pursue a passion of yours because of his work and what he provides, and you're worried that he thinks less of you he would "look at me like i'm crazy" if he…

God, i really envy your situation. I really do. You should be grateful that you have a man that can earn a good living and provide for you both. Think about it like this: it's his job to bring home enough for your both to have a good life. It's your job to do everything you can to support him and keep him happy. It will always lead to conflict if you start comparing yourself to him, especially in finances. There's no way, over the life of your relationship, you will ever be near him financially.…

thanks, it's really sweet of you. things have definitely gotten better since a year ago. they are not perfect now, but there has been a lot of improvement. he's better with money, and even thanked me for stepping in when i did. i think it might be time for him to take over again, i think it would be better for both of us. i will keep trying to encourage him!!

1000% this. You will feel better about yourself if you are more attractive to him. One of the issues is that you spent so much time focused on yourself (year abroad, education, career) and not focused on your relationship that you pushed him away. He was too polite to give you the direct communication you needed--but he did give you signs.

to be really honest, i would have one of 2 reactions if my husband gave me a gift like that: "haha oh baby let's see how much fun we can have with THAT" "oh boy. if he has to go out and get this for us in the bedroom, i am doing something wrong/not doing enough/not meeting his needs". while i hope my reaction (and his intention) was #1, i would probably get stuck on #2 tbh. see if you can think of anything more you can do to make things more interesting and fun. that way he doesn't have to go to…

this is really really good advice. i never thought about it this way, and it made me really think about what i am doing. thank you very much. i need to "suggest" less things and give him the gift of decision for both of us. thank you

I've been doing the finances for a while, he went through a rough patch and i had to take over. It's long overdue that he takes care of them completely, i would really prefer that. I've talked to him about it and he's going to start very soon. it's a little overwhelming for me and i don't like all the hassle to be honest. I will check out that book! That sounds pretty good and thanks for the recommendation!!

Wow it sounds like they have a really good relationship. I'm happy to see that!! I took over the finances when he was going through a rough patch, but it's overwhelming for me. I want him to handle them again. I have talked to him a few times, and he's planning to start soon. That will be good for both of us!

:) he's always very appreciative--it's win-win :) There are even some times (more than a few) when i have to initiate/convince/ask to give him head. I start to think about it, and then i sort of have a craving, then i go find him :)

Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply! You're very sweet and supportive! I am doing everything i can to help him feel masculine. It's gotten better, for sure. Was your Daddy self conscious about the income thing at all? Did he handle all the financials for your family?

I am very lucky, I have loved giving blowjobs all my life, it's a wonderful gift I've been given. It's one of the most intimate things a girl can do, and it's always brought me closer to my partner. I love the way it makes the man feel, how it feels in my mouth getting harder ("I did that :)"), the smell, the taste, when the man loses control for that few seconds before climax, all of it. My girlfriends don't all agree or understand, but really do it for myself and it really turns me on. I like …
