Absolutely. Here's the thing. My boyfriend doesn't want to get married because there's basically nothing in it for men, and men get screwed over in divorces. I don't blame him at all for noping the fuck out when it comes to marriage. I know I wouldn't screw him over if divorce happened, but he has no way of knowing that. Why risk it? People change. We live together and we are committed. I would absolutely get married if he wanted, but he is adamant that he is not interested. So what choices do I…

No kids yet, but possibly some day. We are both 28, so time is ticking.

I have been living with my boyfriend for over 8 years, and we don't have plans to get married. Would I like to get married? Of course, but i don't think it's necessary. I can understand why a guy wouldn't want to risk losing half of his stuff. This is definitely something you would have to agree on though. I think most women would want to be married.

I have been with my boyfriend since we were 20, and we are 28 now. I only recently found TRP and realized what a bitch I was early on in our relationship. If I could go back, I'd tell myself not to be such a shrew. If I'd known how bitchy I was back then, it would have changed a lot and prevented a lot of drama. I'm lucky he stayed with me through years and years of me fighting him every step of the way.

I knew of my SO through a friend who went to a different high school than me. I only talked to him on AIM once when we were 15, but I knew he was good looking from pictures I saw. I kinda had a crush on him for several years. (He had many friends that I knew, and if they mentioned him, I'd be all like, "Ohhhh yeah, he's hot.") We finally met face-to-face when we were 19, and then started dating when we were 20. I moved in with him that year, and now we are 28! No plans for marriage, but after 8 …

Don't accuse him of anything, don't question him, and don't do anything that might make him doubt your loyalty. The only person you have control over is yourself, so instead of putting energy into worrying and being insecure and quizzing him on who he talks to, put some energy into being the best woman possible for him. Always try to improve yourself. If you consistently try to meet his needs, your loyalty to him will be apparent, and both of you will feel more secure. Feeling jealous sometimes …

My bf and I both work. I do most of the small daily chores (cooking, dishes, cat litter, etc), but he does "dude" stuff like the lawn and fixing things. It works for us and I never feel the need to nag him about cleaning. It takes maybe 20 minutes out of my day.

Those chicks are insufferable. That thread about the makeup vanity made me want to unsubscribe from that subreddit.

What a big baby! Cleaning the dishes is not that hard if you don't let them pile up. That poor guy. He is doomed to a life of misery if she's going to make a big deal out of something so simple.

I'm sorry, but if someone rejects my SO, then they reject me. Especially after 5 years. I would say "Good luck with your marriage." and be done with them.

I have a "friend" (we grew up together but never hang out any more) who is getting married next summer. A few weeks ago, she posted a status on Facebook that said, "I'm going to kill (fiance's name)! At this rate, I'll be planning a funeral next year instead of a wedding!" She even linked his name to the post so it would show up on his page. Classy! It's not even like she vented but then quickly deleted it. It's still there! And everyone who commented said something to the effect of, "uh oh, som…

Yeah it is. One of my other coworkers was a heavy smoker and was often mistook for being a man. I'd rather be called a little girl than a man. lol

I used to work in a call center. One day, a customer called in, and she wasn't satisfied with the answer I gave her to her question. She got angry and hung up on me, then called right back and talked to one of my coworkers. She told them, "I just talked to some little girl...". Everyone knew it was me. I was often second-guessed by customers and I think it was because of my voice. Oh well!

My mom had a different last name than I did when I was growing up too. She re-married after she divorced my dad. When I had to bring home things from school that had to be signed by a parent, she had to put (mother) after her name so there wasn't any confusion about who she was. :-/

Here is my collection! Some are in a box because they don't fit on the nail polish racks I bought. Imgur I looove OPI's formula, but I have kid hands, and I find that OPI's brush is too big for my nails. I still buy plenty of it, but I struggle when I apply it. I prefer China Glaze, mostly because of the thin brush. Vampsterdam looks GORGEGOUS!!

I'm very into nail polish and I have over 200 of them. I keep my natural nails, and paint them a few times a week. I love wearing dark purples, maroons, and blacks. My SO seems to prefer polishes in the red family. I also have to keep it professional for my office job, so I tend to stick with pinks, reds, and nudes. Those colors seem to work in an office environment. I save the crazy colors (blues, greens, glitter, etc.). for the weekends. :-)

I have seen this first hand with my dad and my step mom. She is constantly on his case, whining, nagging, and complaining. (If anyone needs to be nagged, its my step mom because she lays on the couch all day talking about how busy she is, but she does nothing). They have been married for 23 years and it has been like that from day 1. My dad has heart disease and diabetes, and last year he fought (and won) a battle with Leukemia. I know she makes his health problems worse. Her constant nagging gi…

My man is very good at dealing with people and negotiating. I am shy and quiet to a fault, and I have trouble communicating with people I don't know well. He just takes charge of the situation and everything seems to work out. He can talk to anybody with ease. I'm amazed by that. He's also creative when it comes to problem solving. I tend to fix things in the most obvious way possible, even if it takes forever, but he thinks of quicker, easier ways to do it. Ways I never would have considered. I…

I'm pretty sure it's because they're jealous of hot women and don't want them to hog all of the attention.

Having opposite sex friends while married or in a relationship is a bad idea. It's just asking for jealousy, drama, and temptation.

My parents separated when I was a baby, and divorced when I was about 3. My mom comes from a line of "strong, independent women". She's a great mom and has an awesome sense of humor, but in her relationships, she wants to be in charge. She ended up marrying my stepdad who is 9 years younger than her. They bicker constantly, because she treats him like a son. My poor dad also got re-married, and his wife is the naggiest witch on the planet. She makes his life miserable, but he won't leave. So see…

For me, I like that we don't spend time playing mind games with one another and arguing. So many couples I know are constantly at each other's throats and complaining to their friends about how mad they are at their SO. I feel much more secure and loved in my relationship, and the time we spend together is fun and not filled with drama.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
