I'd consult a real estate attorney to draft contracts and ensure you're above board. Landlords are almost exclusively fucked over by the legal system. Tread extremely carefully going forward. Again, the legal definition in many states is different than what the regular definition of rape is. Some states dont even list "rape" as a crime, its listed as "unlawful sexual conduct. (AZ, CO, CT FL to name a few) That being said, Oregon DOES have Rape listed as a crime, and quite extensive sub categories of rape as well so there is no reason why this newspaper shouldn't have the headline "Pedophile who raped her student years prior arrested again after trying to contact her victim"
