Sorry, but actually I don’t like it when random women hit on me either. It does happen sometimes but it does nothing for me. There is no context, it just happens out of the blue. Nothing has had a chance to develop. Once I was at a show and a woman grabbed by jacket and ran off with it. So flattering! I mean, she wants me to leave with her? No it isn’t, I’m here for music not to hook up. I also do not need to be complimented. I have skills and I’m capable of presenting well but I don’t need to b…

It’s called an ad hominen attack. Instead of addressing the argument, attack the character of the speaker. It’s considered an invalid argument but people do it all the time. Unfortunately, the original statement is also an ad hominen. Both are bad. This book might be of interest: https://bookofbadarguments.com/

It used to bother me but not any more. The reason is I don’t have any specific desire to please people. In fact, I am only interested in doing that if it is reciprocated. I wouldn’t start any relationship with a list of my grievances about the opposite sex. Why would anyone want to be around someone who is constantly complaining unless they are a masochist? It ends up being the entire world the person lives in. They get up every morning and tune in to their favorite rage bait to reinforce their …

I mean, all of this originated from post modernist and post structuralist theories that decided that history should be viewed only through the lens of “power relationships”. This thinking started to become part of academia from the 1970’s on and instead of merely being a theory or a possible way to view things among other plausible ways, it became an academic orthodoxy. This is not “what people think”, it’s actually the result of lack of thinking critically. It’s the result of uncritically belie…

Both sides are OK on some issues and demented unscientific liars on others. I don’t care if someone believes differently than I do if they can discuss it without becoming uncivil. I avoid political extremists because they are about as discerning as flat earthers. There is nothing worse than being surrounded by people who all unquestionably believe the same things.

I respect the “single goal” but has it occurred to you that these goals are often total cliches? That you can also adopt goals that are singular that don’t even cost money buy achieve the same benefits? Sure a man can love his truck but the fact that so many of men choose the identical trucks shows that in aggregate they are conformist to an oversold capitalist masculine image. It serves to keep us on the treadmill and in debt.

I get your personal viewpoint. I am merely suggesting that this is a societal process that won’t resolve itself by protecting women from it.

Men buy just as much unnecessary stuff. Big expensive trucks, other masculine status symbols. Don’t ignore this , it’s not like men are being frugal either. Half the guys in my neighborhood are driving shiny new gigantic trucks, wearing the same baseball caps. They are all clones just as much as the stereotypical materialistic woman. So tough in their gigantic bling-mobiles. I can’t tell which is more blind. Edit: Please read this humorously. These dudes spend 80K on a truck and then are annoyed…

“It’s going to get to a point where women become just as disposable as men. And that is absolutely tragic.” Why do you think they shouldn’t be? The way this system will change is when both genders see it for what is and quit giving into it, quit turning their lives into slavery either for the system itself or from misguided ideas of “noble” sacrifice.

Thanks for the laughs. Don’t worry, billionaire tech oligarchs will soon pay you personally millions just to reproduce. That is, unless they can convince you to be a wage slave for life and still do it.

It’s very difficult to answer without oppositional thinking, because these forums are structurally set up that way. Ultimately it comes down to biological psychological differences and survival / mating strategies. As a person who never had any desire for kids and isn’t sexually motivated, most of the complaints fall flat with me, and most of the pitfalls don’t exist for me. So much of it is people trying to get what they want from other people who have different ideas of reality and don’t play …

This is a description of extreme leftism, not the typical woman’s attitude. Women already make up the majority of voters, and they do not vote this way.

For every man or woman in a relationship, there is one sick of the relationship and envying the single guy or girl. The actual problem is not understanding that one state is not preferable to the other. Internal unity has to be found without projecting it onto either being single or in a relationship since neither state guarantees happiness.

I don’t believe in it. My problem has always been that most people and obligatory relationships drove me crazy and I actively sought solitude rather than endure them. So I do not believe in this, at least for myself, or, perhaps I even contributed to it since I got tired of playing ego games and preferred to be alone most of the time.

People who blame me for not doing something for them when they have literally never done a thing for me and have no intention of even doing things they can and should do for themselves are indeed infuriating. They are weak because they have found shame and blame gets them what they want so they keep doing it. This is manipulation. I’ve found the only solution is to completely ignore them. Sadly, they usually find some other sucker to do it. I can only advise, don’t be that person. Stand alone if…

It’s a red herring. Actually lots of people of both genders have decided to be celibate and not get married. So what? It’s a great choice if it’s the right choice for you. There is nothing threatening about it.

I went through this. Girl left me and accused me of not being together etc because I didn’t have a steady job yet and was still working that out. But then I actually did just fine without her and it was mostly a “her problem“. My problem was thinking she would accept me for my passion and sincerity and I wasn’t discerning about her ability to maintain a committed relationship while negotiating the ups and downs of starting out in life. What happened next, I also found reprehensible. Some women l…

Ah yes, the women who need to be entertained but not entertaining. Like they are holding court. You just have to ignore it. Go out if you want to go out, for yourself, and not to entertain others. Be as boring as you want to be, be nonchalant. This isn’t a fault, it‘s the ability to be self contained unless there is genuine reciprocity. Watch the circus, if that’s your sort of thing, all the people falling on their own swords. It can still be fun. With practice, you can “hold frame” even alone. …

The idea that a sexually capable men would still find cause to view available relationships with aversion or distrust isn’t something that frequently crosses the minds of the typical woman (disclaimer: obviously, not all women are typical and some are more evolved). This need to deride supposedly “unworthy males” is because it’s typically deeply tied into their own sense of value, they feel empowered by it. Yet rejecting a woman who wants to have sex is often met with hostility and derision, eve…

It’s partly unconscious. Have you ever just felt bad even though objectively nothing is really wrong? Now imagine that instead of, through “masculine“ thinking, you dismiss that feeling, you project it onto other people because you haven’t been able to shake the feeling that somebody else must be to blame. Equality is actually hard, but since they imagined equality would be easy (or even some fairy tale of being ‘privileged’), they project the blame of this erroneous assumption.

It’s all tied to psychology. Women have historically not been required to be active in the world the way men always were. Their fulfillment was tied to being a parent. Now that they do have to do all these things there is a huge mess of contradictory impulses. Some resent the responsibility. Others are angry that the way is not paved for them and that there are defects in the system. Still others have accepted it, are doing fine and not complaining. The tendency to blame men for every problem is…

Unpopular opinion: The reason you feel anxious and paranoid is because you are addicted to it. You should learn to control it, but breaking the addiction will take time. Seek small gains and gradually increase them. Stop 4 days, then 5 etc. Think of it as training. Let’s differentiate the natural from the beneficial. It is natural to enjoy masturbation but that does not mean it is beneficial. Doing heroin would also probably feel good. Just because it feels good does not mean it benefits you to …

I mean, don’t hate, instead understand. Learn the psychology and how it works. It’s actually possible to crack the codes. The thing is, for men, the only thing you have to do to win is to establish your base state as solitude and learn to thrive that way. It’s not easy but once you do this you are as free as you can be. This is true even if you are in a relationship. All the propaganda in the world is merely aimed at undermining your identity so that you want things they tell you to want, things…

Unpopular opinion: you should be able to be happy single and celibate. There is no guarantee being in a relationship will make you happy, nor will sex. You need to learn to be happy without these things as a base state. Then if they are available to you or not doesn’t matter. It’s actually possible for men to get bored of sex and not desire women or become extreme selective. This is emphatically ignored because without this idea that men are deprived, there is literally no leverage.

Why is the “patriarchy” never referred to a matriarchy in the instances that it oppresses men and benefits women? I would argue that it is referred to that way, but you’d actually have to do some deeper intellectual reading to get there. It isn’t part of internet discourse because the average person doesn’t read in depth. You could read Erich Neumann’s works in this regard.

My position is that it does exist, but ironically it exists because it is what a majority of women actually want. Their game is a reverse psychological game. Men function as women’s action proxies. Look at what women say to nearly every issue: “men need to do something”. Men “need to do something” is patriarchy. No women say, “women are oppressed in Afghanistan, therefore we need to create a women’s army and go fix that.“ No women say, conditions are unsafe so we need to create a woman’s police …

You don’t need to worry about this. Here’s why. The whole idea that the average woman has about increasing women’s power isn’t about them doing something themselves, it’s about demanding that men do things for them. Women already make up the majority of voters and college graduates. And as long as they actually do nothing, nothing comes of it. Women collectively actually demand and reinforce patriarchy while simultaneously denying it. Complaining on the internet and demanding acts of service wil…

It’s in their best interests to frame it as a problem to be solved by men “improving” themselves in order to serve women better. If that fails, then serving an institution serves the same purpose. It provides a security blanket that makes it unnecessary to form your own identity. These are like levels of matrix entanglement. You get through one net only to find another one aimed at trapping you. Eventually, the nets are mostly in your own mind. It can then become the real game to see how free yo…

Systematically protecting them is more true. Equality is hard because the need to protect and provide for themselves is intrinsically difficult.

I think I would just not engage with this. If someone else “struggles more” so what. It would certainly not be people of either gender where I live, period. That prize goes to some of these third world countries and people living under oppressive regimes.

Men are not allowed to call unasked for and undesired attention from women creepy. We are supposed to be grateful for it. It’s another double standard. If we could complain about it, the numbers might be similar.

Another thing is there is often only a small difference that can easily be accounted for by other biases in the situation. For instance, the presidential election. Liberal women like to ignore the fact that the difference in male vs female votes was only a couple percentage points, and that women make up the majority of voters. It doesn’t fit the ”patriarchy” is the answer to every issue storyline.

Successful women, I mean the ones who actually did the work I find never do this. It’s because they want someone else to do it for them and like to imagine that men get it for free. But it’s a struggle where you have to deal with flawed and selfish people all the way. And it’s not usually different when women run the show.

It’s better to understand through psychology. The red pill is too reactionary and places blame where there should be understanding. It makes no sense to hate a rattlesnake. You can admire it but understand the danger.

Yeah this is a huge cop out. Small and weak men are the most common and are easily bested by even a moderately trained woman. I get my butt kicked all the time by women athletes for instance. The strongest is whoever trains the best.

There are far better metaphors for this than “loneliness epidemic”. You simply have to learn to live alone and in solitude. This is the base state. There is no outside solution to this. Once you are independent you can enter a relationship by choice, not from dependency. The psychological metaphor has always been called separation from the mother, the mother complex. The mother complex is the inability to live alone, or to rely on women or relying on proxies in institutions or corporations to de…

Yes sir, now the next step is harder. Have compassion for it. It is stupid whether we do it or they do it. Women are master manipulators. I don’t blame them for it, they have had to be, but it’s time to quit being naive about it. An unscrupulous woman will gaslight you endlessly and maybe even believe she is correct to do so. Always look for the spin. Learn to reverse it internally like you did here, not to gain some unfair advantage, but just to avoid being taken advantage of. Disengagement is …

The irony is that can and do get away with it. Any supposed statistics on domestic violence ignores that men are simply heavily discouraged from reporting it. To answer your question you should leave the relationship. Do not retaliate.

Yeah you can’t convince them because they don’t care about those things. It’s all a strategy. They will use anything that helps them and deny anything that does not. Men (or women for that matter) believing that it works through reasoning and facts is simply wrong. They did not get where they are today that way, but through manipulating opinion. You will have just as much success waving a magic wand. If you care about facts, go improve a rocket engine, don’t argue with people who merely protect …

Yes, I agree. Also the porn thing. We have women saying the guy is a porn addict like every other post. But in many cases it’s not that at all. There are other reasons for it. You are not allowed to observe that some men simply aren’t turned on by their partners and this isn‘t necessarily wrong. Or that it is being used to mitigate stress. You can then see a post on twox with thousands of upvotes about women embracing their closet of sex toys or even one I saw recently with over 5k votes about g…

The amusing thing about reading that sub is the entitlement. It is at least 50% women, the posts show that they expect sex and if the man is isn’t interested there is something wrong with him. But if the woman isn’t interested that is often OK. Ultimately, it’s only a problem if they aren’t getting what they want either way it’s the man’s fault. I actually don’t blame women for thinking this way. Society teaches them this and also many men believe it themselves. They are genuinely shocked in som…

The one thing that must never be questioned is that all men want sex all the time with anything that breathes. If that fails the whole ediface crumbles. If that isn’t true nobody has leverage anymore. Not just the ideas of desirability all fail, but media, advertising, and huge portions of the medical industrial complex start to go bankrupt that rely on men feeling guilty for not feeling turned on.

It isn’t about facts and never will be, it’s merely a strategy to get what they want which is just as often just to get a reaction. Privately, they embrace their own contradictions and it amuses them. They keep taunting the man who continues to explain because he has so easily fallen for the ruse. What is true is only what they can get out of it. This can be unconscious for them, but if you are going to play it helps to see the stakes. See the strategy and understand how to be oblique. I personally find it fascinating, like anthropology. If you realize that nearly 100% of people complaining about men actually are trying to shame men into doing something for them that they refuse to do themselves it becomes comedy. A lot of the threats against men are things that are actually good for men that they attempt to twist to a negative (like to learn to enjoy solitude and see the benefits are immense). A ton of it is a psy-ops war to get men to identify with some label that makes them…

By believing that if you aren’t having sex you aren’t fulfilled. Oddly enough plenty of people who do have sex are just as unfulfilled. Even stranger (to people obsessed with this), some of us don’t even want sex or don’t even find it defining of who we are in any way.

It’s a stupid expectation at this point, as is the idea that men are dominant just because some of us are bigger. I don’t believe it’s a real problem. It’s a psychological manipulation of men’s identity, an external hypnosis, a brainwash, a ruse. The real problem is men project their ideas of meaning onto women and society instead of creating meaning for themselves internally. Thus the actual problem is they have taken the bait and are now caught in the snare. No self awareness. Taking their self image and identity from a set of lies designed to create a type of discontent that is of no threat to the system…

But most of the reason we are in this mess is that most men are incredibly stupid and idealistic and utterly dependent on female validation for their sense of identity. You can call it noble if you want to, but the results of men’s blind idiocy and egotism directly hurts them the most. It’s tragic, but men are their own worst enemies most of the time.

It doesn’t actually exist, they are victims of systemic psychological ignorance afflicting both genders. The problem is not understanding anima and animus projections contrasexual projections. Boys project onto women an anima fantasy of perfection, fulfilling sexuality, beauty, loyalty, purity etc and don’t realize there is nothing real actually there. That’s all fantasy. I read both the men’s complaints and the women’s. Perhaps ironically they are mostly about reducing the other gender to a set of statistics and then railing against it. But people are not statistics. My wife has many of the traits women rail against in men (plays video games for endless hours for example) and I have many of the female characteristic. For instance I love cats and prefer them to most people. The complaints are often real but the solution is the same: self reliance first, being sin…
