If the odds of becoming sterile are as close to zero as they are for women's birth control, i'd want to do it. My fiancee is on birth control rn, and it fucks with her hormones and all that, it's only fair to distribute that burden if i can.

Circumcision of babies should also considered a form of rape imo

The first sentence of the OP article states: "Voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) is a global strategy for reducing female-to-male sexual transmission of HIV" While the initiative in general may be global, the problem of men getting HIV from women is not. It is nearly exclusively an African issue. Even in the case of HPV and cervical cancer, the initiative would only apply to you AFTER you contract HPV. Circumcision of infants should be banned, but adults "willingly" getting a circumcisio…

Im not saying circumcision has any benefits mate, i'm saying the title of your post is misleading because it doesn't give the context of the study being oriented around a very narrow and specific situation. Most people will not actually read through the study, and it's on you to properly contextualize it in your post instead of speaking in generalities.

The article is about african women convincing african men with HIV to have a circumcisions because that (supposedly) reduces the odds of HIV spreading. I'm not arguing for or against that idea, but you should be honest about what the article is about in your OP, misleading posts like yours are a detriment to the MRM.

Here in Norway men have a right to half of the parental leave if they want it (exceot for the first 6 weeks, that's for the mother to recuperate from the birth) The parents can choose how they divide it, but the baseline assumption in the letter of the law is to share it equally. This was mostly instituted because women stayinh out of work for a long time after giving birth was hampering their career potential. Sharing the parental leave is an actual way to equalize wages between men and women, …

So-called gender equality supporting "feminists" will call them cowards while they'd never expect a woman to fight, nor fight in any war themselves.

Nearly all women have been sexually harassed in some way. Nearly all men have been exposed to physical violence Men and women have different issues, simple as.

If someone attacked your country, would you not wanna defend it? Im still conscripted in the Norwegian army "heimevern" and im required to fight in defensive wars on Norwegian soil should they ever occur. I would never wanna go to a foreign country to fight, but i am willing to defend my own, mostly so my less violence-capable relatives (elders and kids) dont have to live under potential russian rule due to mine and others inaction.

There are terms that basically only apply to qomen though, stuff like "whore", "bitch", "karen", "basic bitch", "pick-me" etc. Incel doesnt really apply to women because very few women are incels.

My instincts as a sociology student would lead me to think the increase for women is more statistically significant, due to the fact that it's a larger increase percentage-wise, even though the increases are the same numerically. Such increases usually reveal how society changes over time, while an already bad statistic getting worse tells us a little less. It's obviously a much bigger issue for men though.

Tell YOUR lawyer about it (make sure the lawyer is not also your wife's lawyer) and see what you can do from there.

Circumcision of babies and underage people is NEVER justified. There are no benefits to it worth sacrificing part of the genitalia. You don't need your two smallest toes or your outer ear either, but you wouldn't justify chopping them off babies, i hope.

Read a bit about churchill's participation in the indian colony. He was a staunch imperialist, not a good person per se. He still serves a good role as a unifying national symbol of triumph over the nazis though, i think he should havea statue, despite his flaws

If we look at it on a global scale the definition of "typically a man" is correct, however it is incorrect in the west. Who commits the act has nothing to do with what the act is though.
