All I want though is for us not to mix up precedent in one country for precedent in another. It does us little good to mix them up. This doesn't not discount that makes are required to register and have access to governmental support withheld if they don't. There are also people voting today that were subjected to the last draft. And there are many men who died becuase of the draft who would have been able to vote today.
